Ok, so I'm in jazz band I play the trombone. Theres this boy and we share music and stuff. I'm really shy and stuff, like insecure of my playing (when its not totally with the band, and today we were practicing as just sections) and I wasnt play loud and stuff. So then I was in study hall and my sister comes out "aww someone likes you" to me and I was like 'duh nuh uh.' and shes like 'yeah someone from bannnd' so I was like 'whatever.' and she names off the guy who I share music with in jazz band. Well she's like (her friend) was talking to him and he said something about there being this freshman that plays trombone but sucks and just fakes it and shes cute (or some other compliment I dunno) and I've been sitting around for a day and a half just wanting to cry since this. I'm CRUSHED. How could he say this about me? I know I'm not the GREATEST but I didnt think I sucked. And I dont fake it. It really hurt my feelings. I dunno how to get over this...like its hard. I'm thinking about quitting band but I dunno. Any suggestions?

Have them layer it (long layers?) and then angle it a little bit in the front, like starting from just below your chin. Then get those bangs that kind of sweep across your face, you know? I don't know what they're called, sorry lol. Straighten it everyday and it will look really cute!

i dumped my boyfriend because he lied to me about doing drugs. Everyone told me he was bad news and all my guy friends who were his friends too told me i deserved way better then him. I still wanted proff and i got it on the night b4 homecomming.i dumped him after i saw him smoking weed with some other guy. its been over a month since that night i caught him and broke up, but just the other day he randomly asked me y i broke up with him, i tried to explain telling him how he lied, but he didnt see that as a good enough reason. did i do the right thing?

Well, I have two best friends, and i feel like the third wheel. Although they say im not, I feel like it and my parents see it too. I dont know if I should split off from them, or hang on? If you're not happy, then definately try to find new friends. But still stick to being friends with these 2 girls.. You just don't have to call them your 'best friends.' Find new best friends, friends that don't make you feel left out, and are positive, happy people.

OK here it goes. I go out with this girl and we used to spend time with each other all the time until i moved. So right now we r having a long distance relationship. Now everytime I talk to a certain girl she thinks I am cheating on her even when I tell her time to time again that I love her and I would never ever do nothing like that. Since you're only 13, a long-distance relationship is going to be VERY hard. Sooner or later, you're going to be looking at other girls, girls that are actually THERE. You don't want to spend your whole school life being tied down to someone who lives far away, and who you most likely won't even end up with later (no offense but you're only 13 so I don't think she's going to be THE ONE But who knows?) About a week and a half ago I saw my best friend Dylan over the weekend. We just hung out and went to the mall. We later on went back to his house. When ever I see him we kiss and cuddle and I love it more then anything. My parents picked me up at his house around 10:30 and when I was walking out of the door he told me to call him. I called him the next day 1 time and he didnt pick up. I didnt leave a msg bc I thought that he would see my # and call me back but he didnt. Its like we dont talk, and then I will go in town and see him, we'll chill with eachother, then I will leave and go home and we wont talk for a few weeks. Call him again, but don't call him like all the time or anything. Since it's been a week, I think it would be a good idea for you to call him and you wouldn't seem annoying. And if he doesn't answer, definately leave a message. But don't say anything in the msg like 'I miss you" or something, just be like "Hey_____ it's _____, just callin to say hey, call me back when you get a chance! (phone #). And definately get his sn so you can talk to him whenever you want without having to call him. And that way you can keep in touch and you won't seem annoying or pushy. Good luck!

Hey I think 7th grade is a little young. There are so many risks and everything and no form of protection is 100% guarenteed so there is always a chance of getting pregnent or getting an STD and if that were to happen to you at this age it would totally screw up your entire life. And like most people who have sex at a young age almost ALWAYS regret it afterwards. And just to let you know, if anyone else at your school found out (and trust me, the guy WOULD tell ALL HIS FRIENDS) then your reputation would be SO SCREWED and you would be thought of as a slut. Make up flyers that tell about her.. breed, sex, age, personality, health, etc.. And put your phone number and on the flyer.. and make sure you say "Looking for a GOOD HOME." And You can also put on the flyer that she is free. (IF you guys aren't charging anything for her)Then take the flyers to local veternarians and pet stores and put them up. Sounds to me like you've got some immature friends. Just tell them you were joking, and they should believe you! If not, then that kid that ur in love with isn't worth it.. and neither is your friend (if she's even your friend in the first place?) Just don't worry about it.. move on. And the kid probably doesn't like you BECAUSE you do everything he says.. Guys like INDEPENDENT, CONFIDENT girls. So just be yourself.. Don't change yourself just for a guy. Try ProActive.. my friend uses it and she says it works really well.. but it is a little expensive.. like $40 but you get cleanser and lotion and like all this stuff and I think it's worth it.

Ok one day I was skateboarding and I turned because my friend called me and the skateboard ran into something and I fell off. I was having pains in my knee after that(I landed on my hands and knees) so I went to the doctor and it turns out I tore ligameants in my knee and have to wear a knee brace for 1 month! I dont know what to do. I skateboard all the time and rollerblade(and play TONS of sports) but now I cant do any of the things I love for a whole month. I hate it. Any ideas on how I could play sports & skateboard again?

Sorry but your just gonna have to be tough.. just be glad it's only a month. Keep yourself busy by doing other things.. watch TV, talk on AIM, talk on the phone, go to the movies with your friends, etc. The less stress you put on your knee, the sonner the brace will be off. oKaY, i have this problem where i get white dry spots on my skin especially during the summer when i tan. In the winter they fade. They started appearing two years ago, when i was in the sun all day during the summer! They are really annoying, it seems like theyr dry spots. I believe it might be because I'm not moisturizing enough or whatever. What can i do to make them go away?? i asked my doctor and she just said to use a moisturizer and not to tan (she didnt help AT ALL)..even if i spray tan or w/e they still appear and they look really gross!!!hElp!!!
You might have siriosis (sp?). My friend had that and she got this prescription lotion by Aveeno and the spots went away. You can go on the internet and look more into siriosis or you can ask your doctor, but to me, it sounds like that's what you have.

Show your parents that you are miserable --not only with words but with actions. My friend moved all the way from Georgia to California, but her family moved back to Georgia after a few months because her brother couldn't adjust to California. okay I know this is random, but like I have really weird hair thats in between being curly or straight (but it doesnt look good lol) and I was wondering does anyone know anything that will make your hair straight or curly w/o too much use of a straightener or a curling iron? Blow dry your hair straight. It doesn't damage your hair as much as using a straightener. Also you can use products to make your hair smooth. I recommend Garnier Fructice Smoothing Milk. Put that in your hair when its wet, right before you blow dry it. Then get this brush, it's by Conair. It's like a clamp, and on each side of the clamp it has soft bristles. You put ur hair (when its wet) inbetween the two clamps (starting at the top) and just slowly glide the brush down to the end of your hair as you blow dry it. Do that with small sections of your hair. Then when you're all done your hair will be straight!!

I really like this boy and he says that he really likes me, however he has a girlfriend and doesn't want to hurt her by dumping her. He is always with me and he tells me that he cares and wants to be with me, but I don't want to get hurt. It hurts me enough to know that he has a girlfriend, I have never loved like this before.
