oKaY, i have this problem where i get white dry spots on my skin especially during the summer when i tan. In the winter they fade. They started appearing two years ago, when i was in the sun all day during the summer! They are really annoying, it seems like theyr dry spots. I believe it might be because I'm not moisturizing enough or whatever. What can i do to make them go away?? i asked my doctor and she just said to use a moisturizer and not to tan (she didnt help AT ALL)..even if i spray tan or w/e they still appear and they look really gross!!!hElp!!!
Courtney answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 10:43 pm: Skin needs moisture along with vitamins and stay out of the sun dealing only with long periods of times . Also try using alchohol(the rubbing alchohol that relieves and burns when first made contact with your skin) and that'll help ALOT. I've helped some people in tight spots usin' alchohol and you'll see and improvement. Hope I was some help and peace . [ Courtney's advice column | Ask Courtney A Question ]

Shortie8959 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 5:30 pm: It's probably pigment problems from always being in the sun. Sunless tanning can also cause problems. So you need to stop worrying about being bronze, and always use sunscreen. Also, I heard the Aveeno products work really good. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

PinkLady4863 answered Monday December 20 2004, 11:59 pm: i have the same problem around my nose. regular moisterizer just isn't powerful enough, so i use foot cream. gross, i know, but good foot creams are heavily loaded with moisterizers and really knock out those spots! but, only put the foot cream on the dry spots because you don't want a greasy face. good luck hunnie!

AsKmE135 answered Monday December 20 2004, 11:51 pm: You might have siriosis (sp?). My friend had that and she got this prescription lotion by Aveeno and the spots went away. You can go on the internet and look more into siriosis or you can ask your doctor, but to me, it sounds like that's what you have. [ AsKmE135's advice column | Ask AsKmE135 A Question ]
