That's pretty funny. Go ahead, tell her. At least you didn't "do" anything, right? She'll appreciate your honesty and go easier on you if she ever finds porn on the computer. Try to at least sound like you regret ever doing it though. It sounds like you and your mother share a close bond since your even considering telling her. So tell her, she'll appreciate finding out this way as opposed to the alternative. Your dead if the alternative occurs.

I found your column, go under more options for a more narrow search. The first list is the list of people who has most recently given advice.

Your father definitely seems unstable, and I think the healthiest thing for you and your mother to do right now is get as far away from him as possible.
I know talking to your mother about this might seem like the last thing in the world you want to do, it may be the best, if not only, solution. It's very possible the reason she's staying with him is for your benefit, so if she's aware of the entire picture she'll be able to see how much better off both of you would be without him.
It may seem terrible because you two wouldn't have as much money, maybe not even a steady income (Depends on what your mother's financial situation if you two left him), but think about how great it would be to live without your father's harrassment, verbal abuse, etc. There's always ways of getting help financially (Food stamps, job possibilities, etc). I think, contrary to apparent popular belief, if you just want to be close without sex it isn't lust. I think it's intimate love, sometimes hard to find. An intimate love is basically the type of love you feel for someone without the extremely strong feelings you'd have with someone you're dating. It's someone you can talk to about anything, and be absolutely comfortable with.
A crush, to me, is basically lust. It's just overwhelming feelings you feel for someone, most of the time the feelings are sudden and you hardly know the person. It hardly goes past physical attraction. Maybe the difference between a crush and a love for a friend is how well you know the person.

Ok heres my story....
On the third day of 6th grade My friends and I were standing in our group outside at recess, My friend Rachel had just broken up with this kid Kevin that she had been dating, then Rachel dared me to go up to kevin and tell him that his hair was wacked, so I did. The bad thing about it is I started to like thsi kid. The next day I went to the movies with him cuz we were going out now. We went to go see "Brother Bear" And out of nowhere he kissed me (my first kiss, and his too) I thought it was sooooooo gross like barfworthy gross cuz he was like the fattest kid in the grade! But then I went home and thought about it for a while and realized that I actually liked it, but then a few days later he dumped me...and that goes on for a while. One day I went to the movies...not kknowing he was gonna be there, and then we madeout (my first makeout)After that, kevin started talking to my cousin online, who by the way lives in Maine, and he told her that he had feelings for me that were like way more then a friend. So once again we went out. This time was way more serious...see My friend Sarah was involed with his friend Jeffro, and jeffro lived near sarah so we all decided to meet kevin and jeffro at jeffors house. We would switch on and off between the couch and Jeffros bedroom. It wsa me and Kevin's turn on the couch and I got ontop of him and we were makeingout(keep in mind I am only 12) Then we stoped and he was staring at me and he told me that he loved me and that he wished this day would never end, we started makeingout again and then Jeffros mom walked in. We didn't get in trouble though. Two days after that Kevin broke up with me and I had to go to the hospital cuz I was soo devistated. Its now 2 months later and kevin claims to hate me...but after all we've been through I can't seem to let go...someone please help me!

Does he have a reason to back up him new opinion of you? If so, what are they? There seems to be several gaps in this. Anyway, keep in mind your only 12, you'll meet other guys. You probably only feel this strong because he was your first real boyfriend. Stop associating or talking about Kevin, and try talking to other guys.

It could be so many things I don't even know where to start. If it bothers you this much, go see a doctor. I had an occasional stomach ache and they had to do several tests to find out what it was. They gave me this long list of things that it could have been, and it was nothing on the list, so it's hard telling. It could be a reaction your body's having from the paste, it could be something else. Try switching brands of tooth paste if you think that's the problem.

I'm moving pretty soon, and I really want to have a "theme" for my new room. I get whatever I want, and I don't know what would look good, my interests:
1. Anime and manga (Japanese stuff) That's my favorite, I really want a Japanese style room.
2. Nature.
3. Dark stuff, i.e. kind of punkish.
4. American Eagle, and Aeropostale. I know you can't really make that into a theme, but y'know.

hey i am like a punk kid. and i really dont like preps very much. but my mom is like anti-punk and loves preps. and she is really into the "preppy" clothes and attitude and all that good stuff. lol. ok well thats NOT me but how do i tell her without her freaking out. i mean i want to get my tongue pierced and my ears pierced a lot. but my mom is just not understanding for my personality. people tell me "Be yourself who cares what others think" but how can you be yourself when your mother is making you another. how do i try to show my mom that i am not like her? What's with kids and labels these days? I always thought it wasn't about what you wore, it was about who you were. Your mother probably won't change her mind, but you could try to negotiate with her. If she lets you get your tongue pierced, you will do this and that. If this doesn't work, you'll have to wait until you're old enough to do it without her permission.

Hey everyone.. well i need some advice here.. see my b/f is going away for 3/4 for labor day weekend, and i want to get him like a going away present, nothin too, i can't think of the word but you know, just something simple yet cute. i was thinking about getting a small box, not too small though, and decorating it, like maybe cutting out letters from magazines and make it say "i love you" or something. then in the box i want to put like hershey kisses in there and maybe a cute picture of me. then i wanna write like a little love note to put in the box as well. in the note i wanna say something along the lines of "this is since i can't be with you, since u can't have any kisses from me, or you won't be able to see me" but you know more detail, i wanna make it be almost a page long to make him feel special. and then at the end i'll use "xoxo hugs nd kisses" and stuff.. i haven't thought about everything i'm gonna put in the letter yet though. but anyways.. so i guess my question is, do you like my idea? (got it from somewer else though) or wut else can i do or put in the letter? also i was thinking about getting one of those big hershey kisses instead of a whole bunch of little ones but i'm not sure yet, which do you think would be better? oh also.. frame or no frame for the picture? i just wanna make him feel special, loved, ect.. i wanna let him know how much he means to me and how much i love him and am going to miss him over these days.. so any ideas would help me, thanks in advance and if you want rated ask. sorry if it's long Lol, bye. To be honest, this is a fine idea and all, but he's probably going to like it no matter what it is. He's probably going to like it simply because it's from you. a frame might be over-doing it a little bit, he's only going to be gone for a few days. Instead of choosing between little kisses and a big kiss, why don't you place a big kiss in the middle and surround it with little ones. Unless of course you think this would be overdoing it too. Give it too him right before he leaves, so you can just tell him to open it on the way. This way it won't be as melted.
