advice?
Hey everyone.. well i need some advice here.. see my b/f is going away for 3/4 for labor day weekend, and i want to get him like a going away present, nothin too, i can't think of the word but you know, just something simple yet cute. i was thinking about getting a small box, not too small though, and decorating it, like maybe cutting out letters from magazines and make it say "i love you" or something. then in the box i want to put like hershey kisses in there and maybe a cute picture of me. then i wanna write like a little love note to put in the box as well. in the note i wanna say something along the lines of "this is since i can't be with you, since u can't have any kisses from me, or you won't be able to see me" but you know more detail, i wanna make it be almost a page long to make him feel special. and then at the end i'll use "xoxo hugs nd kisses" and stuff.. i haven't thought about everything i'm gonna put in the letter yet though. but anyways.. so i guess my question is, do you like my idea? (got it from somewer else though) or wut else can i do or put in the letter? also i was thinking about getting one of those big hershey kisses instead of a whole bunch of little ones but i'm not sure yet, which do you think would be better? oh also.. frame or no frame for the picture? i just wanna make him feel special, loved, ect.. i wanna let him know how much he means to me and how much i love him and am going to miss him over these days.. so any ideas would help me, thanks in advance and if you want rated ask. sorry if it's long Lol, bye.

wow..hes only gunna be gone for 3/4 days and your getting him a going away gift? it seams kind of xtreme..but then again i dont know how you and your bf are! haha! anyways..it seams like a great idea! deff go with the HUGE hershey kiss!:) and then get a bag of hugs and put them in the box with the big one..so there are hugs and a huge kiss!:) Before he leaves you should invite him over, and give it to him. Dont make it to be such a big thing..just say you want to hang out before he leaves. and surprise him! Deff go with the pic w/o a frame..so then he will be able to put it into his wallet! on the back of the picture write something like "as long as you keep this picture with you, by your wallet side..ill be forever with you" something cute and sweet!:) and in the letter..dont get ALLLLL mushy! guys like mushyness..but not WAYY over the top!

I love the idea! and so will he!! Seriously i love the idea, but I think you should get small hersey kisses so he doesnt have to unrap the whole big one, and he could give a few out to his family and whoever else is around. In the letter you can add about how he makes you feel while you guys hang out. (Examples: you get butterflys, all your troubles go away, you feel comfortable when you are with him... ect) a picture frame might be nice so the picture doesnt get bent up... i'm thinking instead of a picture of just you if you have a picture of the both of you that'd be awesome! But no matter what i'm sure he'll love it! Good luck and best wishes

That is a REALLY cute idea, just make the note say things that only you 2 would get about all the fun and stuff you've had together let it coem from the heart, give it to him and tell him to open it after he leaves or something, that way it doesnt melt and everything works out..

I think thats a great idea! you should keep that..with the hershey kisses I think you should get a bunch instead of one big one...for the picture I dont think it should have a frame to make it seem more home made...and the more it seems home made the more special it will be! I hope he likes his gift! and I hope I helped!

To be honest, this is a fine idea and all, but he's probably going to like it no matter what it is. He's probably going to like it simply because it's from you. a frame might be over-doing it a little bit, he's only going to be gone for a few days. Instead of choosing between little kisses and a big kiss, why don't you place a big kiss in the middle and surround it with little ones. Unless of course you think this would be overdoing it too. Give it too him right before he leaves, so you can just tell him to open it on the way. This way it won't be as melted.
