I recently started using Nair on my embarassing, dark, thick arm hair. First I thought about it, and didn't think it was a good idea. Then my friend used it, and her hair grew back light and thin. I asked my mom, who is very picky about these things and knows A LOT about them, and she said I could try it. I used it about 2 or 3 weeks ago and no problems during the process, but it's growing back REALLY thick and spikey like leg hair after you have it. Is this just what happens the first time or should I not continue to use it? Thanks, I rate high.

ALot of my friends just shave there arms you could do that. It probably works best and make sure you do it it everyday and if not everyday at least every other day then. You could wax every so often but thats what happans-trix

Q: i`ve never shaved 'down there'..i`m scared i`ll get razor burn, but it really bugs me and i want it all gone..without getting it waxed. Does using shaving cream keep it from no razor burn? what else could i use so i dont get it, because i`m in a swim class at my school..and i really dont want red bumps to be visible. i use a venus razor, if that counts for anything..

You could get razor burn no matter what. Same goes for bumps. Just make sure you use a new razor!!-trix

Q: This person Ive been thinking of constantly is becoming one of my best friends. I think I like him because when I'm with my friend hes all I think about and i get this weird feeling when I'm around him. Valentines Day is coming up. I think I'm going to ask him if he wants to go out with me the day before but I'm wondering...What do I do if he says no? I dont wanna look like a moron or start crying or anything..

Well i mean you have to except that. But you should ask him out and just tell him to think about it if you think the answer is going to be no. Which it probably wont if you think he might have a thing for you to. Or you could have a friend talk to him about it and see if he would ever go out with you. Make it seem like your askin him out but then again your friend would be just wondering. SO if he says he would maybe or yes go out with you then chances are good that he'd say yes-trix

Im completely broke and have no money. what cheap, extremely meaning present should i give him? his birthday is a week before valentines day. i was wondering if i could come up with a great present that could do for both ocassions..any ideas? please help me. thank you.

Q: I have these weird discolorations on my arms and my leg and my hand. I've told my mom about them and she says its from the sun but I dont think so. I dont know what they are and they make me embarrased when I wear t-shirts. What should I do?

Dont wear t-shirts until you figure it out just tell your mom you've had them for awhile and your kind of nervous and you'd like to get it checked out. I mean thats what you should do anyways. If your mom says no go to the school nurse and she can help you!!-trix

Avoid talking to her. Act really pissed. If i got that sort of rumor started about me i would honestly be really pissed and if your not pissed pretend to be cuz if they relize your not mad maybe thats whats giving them the idea that you are-trix

Q: Okay Im friends with this girl, but not that close. I found out from sombody that she cuts herself and gets abused by her dad. I dont know if i believe this but for a fact she scratches her arm and makes it bleed and seems very proud ( with her nails ). Also her dad is strict with her, with school work and all... but a lot of parents are? Is this a bad sign? Any suggestions? thanks

I dunno why she would scratch herself that bad. But some parents wont even except low B's for grades. So her dad could be like that. I would just ask her to be on the safe side just let her know you care-trix

Q: okay for you older high school students...i`m a freshman in H.S. and i was wondering do you think when you do your eyeshadow you should just find one really good color like a certain shade of bronze that looks really good, or should you wear eyeshadow that matches your clothes?

I would go with what you like for what you are wearing. Unless its like yellow like something bright like that or red. Or blue unless you do light blue just stick with the light colors on your eyes. Use white if you cant match and/or put sparkles on the white (its rele cute if u see it)-trix

Q: Ok..I use liquid foundation by maybelline but every time I put it on it like gets "crusty?" and its like gross and it makes my face look weird. Its like it separates into little pieces..my mom says its just "dry skin?" but like i try scrubbing it off with those stridex pads but it takes the makeup off but not the skin stuff. i also used to use noxema but that didnt do anything with it either. i have found out that apricot scrub stuff kind of works. but it seems like it will just come back after my face dries. i have also tried using other kinds of foundation..for instance that new dream matte mousse stuff and also powder kinds. ugh this really makes me mad to see my face all like this. should i put lotion on it?? what kinds?? i have tried some but grrr! also..i dont have bad acne all over but i have kind of a lot on my chin and like one teeny one on my forehead..but is there any good products out there?? sorry for this being so long. Well you may want to get in touch with a consolar but sense we are aging its called hormones. And we feel happy, sad, anxious, jealousy throughout these teen years. Sad.. i know. It sucks. But we can cope w/friends, family, and/or counsolar. They are all there for us!! So you will be fine. I turned to all 3. Mostly friends then consolar then family. But im more relying on a consolar. I have a few consouling places you could go to that are most likely in your area if you want you can contact me they can be free if you dont got the money. IF you are in jr. high then this is a common thing and you will for surely grow out of it. I would just leave it alone and try to prove that you are your own person and arent a follower. Well if you to did anything i would get checked. LIke with a pregnancy thing. I mean its totally normal for you 2 skip a period! trust me!! I had that and i went and got checked and the dr. told me no reason to worry!! If you are extremely worried go into plan parenthood and they can help you. OR go to www.planparenthood.com or ask.com if that doesnt work anymore and put in plan parent hood and you will get alot of info. But you dont start to regulate after until you had your period for 4-5 years. I kept getting told 3 years. So i was like ahh!! why aint i reg. Its been about 3 years!! cuz i got it at 12 and im 15 now. But it turns out you dont regulate until 4-5 years later!! So dont worry!! If you and your bf didnt do anything you dont need to worry! Tylenol cold reliever. Or peptobismal. I would go into the dr. and get that checked he can give you more stronger medicine and ive never heard of buckleys so i wouldnt bother with that-trix
