to shave or not to shave?

Question Posted Wednesday February 2 2005, 7:25 pm

i`ve never shaved 'down there'..i`m scared i`ll get razor burn, but it really bugs me and i want it all gone..without getting it waxed. Does using shaving cream keep it from no razor burn? what else could i use so i dont get it, because i`m in a swim class at my school..and i really dont want red bumps to be visible. i use a venus razor, if that counts for anything..

Hey <3. alright, well first if its like lonq or whatever, probably is since you never shaved their yet, you want to get scissors, and cut the hair very short. Then you want to use alot of shaving cream or soap, and use a fresh new clean razor, and first shave downwards { with the hair } and then upwards aqainst the hair. everyone might get razorburn, but it isnt like bad. but good luck <3 need more help ; i.m. me : blinkbabex33 . alright <3 Colleen

Frist of all you dont have to shave you can always trim ( if your scared) or if you want to try something new then my best bet is to use ALOT of shaving cream. Good luck

it really doesnt matter what razor you use..
buttt-
if it bothers you, just shave it.. just not often and you wont get razor burn, i usually shave once a week and it works fine, i have only gotten razor burn once.. and im 16 so realllly.. its not as bad as people make it to be, if you are that sexually active where you need to shave like 3 times a week. thats your prob., i cant help you there.. just tell the guy to get over it, but besides that.. just forget about it, and SHAVE IT OFF!

Well you don't have to shave the whole thing off, lol. If you're only doing it for swim class, then just shave off the neccessarry spots. The ones that are noticeable. If you use shaving cream then no, there shouldn't be any bumps. But somehow sometimes they still show up. Use LOTS of shaving cream, and a new razor. And yeah the venus razors, they work EXTREMELY GOOD! so i think you're all set, no worries! good luck & have fun
