Hey! First off, i'm going to start by saying I came here on this site to give people advice. Some people actually don't know the real meaning of advice. They think its the answers they want to hear. But i'm not here for that. I'll give you advice, and it might be something you don't want to hear. But deal with it! You may take my advice or not, its completely up to you and you are not gaurnteed a correct solution.

Ok so now that's clear, I'll talk to you more about myself. Hence the username... I play volleyball. It is my passion and basically my life since I've played for about 7 years. Most of my friends say i'm 50/50 tomboy and girly girl. I LOVE sports!! I play volleyball all year round, and then I go to the park during free times to play some soccer, football, hockey, basketball or baseball with my friends. But then again, I could be inside trying on my new Sephora makeup i'd just gotten, or reading the latest Seventeen magazine or even arranging my clothes for school tomorrow.

You can ask me just about anything and i'll be happy to answer it. You can count on a full and detailed answer.

Oh and another thing... I love getting feedback! Even if its a negative comment. It tells me what I need to work on or even what I did correct.

Hi, I'm a 16 year old girl and I was wondering how I'd go about selling some of my artwork in galleries? Maybe just some small galleries around town. How old do you have to be and how would I do it? Any other info you could give me would be great too. Thanks!

I'm not sure how old you have to be, but you can walk into the gallery and ask the person in charge. Look in a phone book and call up some gallarys, set a meeting so they can see your art work and then they'll probably let you do it.

k well today i had dance practice at school for tryouts. i take dance, and it always takes me a while to learn dances. well now its even harder because we only have 3 days to learn the dance. so today we had to go into groups of 7 and do the dance in front of everyone else, and i got soo nervous and froze up and forgot basically the whole dance and i looked retarted. haha k well the tryouts are on friday, and im so scared i'm gonna freeze again. that alwayss happens to me when i'm nervous, and i don't want it to happen on friday. i reallly wanna make the dance team, so what are ways i can not be as nervous and remember the dance? thankss

Just like the other advicenator said, try your best! Think about how happy you'll be if you make the tryouts... also think of somebody who is also trying out and just think to yourself that you want everybody to be jelous of you. Dont focus on all of the other people, only focus on the judges ((coaches, whatever they're called. The people who say if you made the team or not)) Try to impress everybody else. and Try your hardest.

So what I understood is that you like this boy, and he flirts with you and also other girls... you want him to get a clue that you like him, but still you dont want him to ACTUALLY know that you like him.. am I right?
Heres what you can do:
If you dont want to tell him that you like him, wait until he tells YOU. So for now, just stick to flirting. When he looks at you, look at him deeply for 1 second, then quickly look away. When he's talking to you, twirl your hair. If he does something funny, Giggle or laugh. Now, i'm not saying laugh so hard that snot comes out of your nose, or you do something embarrassing... just a simple giggle. If he talks to his other friends, listen in on his conversation so that way he'll notice that you want to be included. Then when he looks at you, SMILE! Try talking to your other friends about you, but make it loud enough that he will hear what you're saying... then he'll be like "what happend?" you know what I mean.... When he gets a clue that you like him, let HIM come up to YOU and ask you if you like him. Then just go with the flow.

Ok, So normally when a girl asks a guy "do you like me?" what do you expect to hear? Yes? No? about 60% of girls who ask guys if they like them... the guys say "just as a friend" but inside they really like you. So try asking him again. And if he says 'no' say "well you always look at me, so i figured that you liked me"

you said "he said just as a friend, but NOW we are really good friends"
maybe he liked you as a friend when you asked him... and then changed his mind after that. So my advice to you is ask him again. Then give him a hint that you like him... that way he'll really think about if he likes you or not.

Hey guys! Well I'm not sure if this sould have went under home decorading or something but here it goes. I want a new comforter but it is around $50.00. I don't have that kinda money right now. Plus, shipping and handling might add around another $10.00. Anyone have any good ideas on how I could make some money? I'm 13 years old so something that I could do that would get some quick money. Do extra chores around the house, rake the yard ((if theirs leaves)) shovel snow, ((if theirs snow)) babysit, put on some kind of fundraiser/car wash/talent show and have an admission fee, you can go to your comuinitee center and ask for help there.

I'm not good with names so bear with me here. I use this face cleaner rutine thing to get rid of pimples. But it stings [pretty bad] for about 20min. Don't get me wrong or anything, it works great you can see results in two days. But is it supposed to sting like this?

hmm... well when I use a product it stings for 2 minutes tops.... and the stinging is a sign that it's cleaning out the bacteria and dirt out of your skin. So thats a good sign... maybe you're applying too much? Try a little bit less

Does he look at you? Does he kina drift off in one of your classes? Does he seeem like a different kind of person when he's around you? Does he have a dreamy look in his eyes?
Does he smile at you? Does he bite his lips when looking at you?

all of those questions are what you need to answer to find out if he likes you.

Alright, so you want polite? Most people would just shout in their faces and say "can you leave me alone! I dont like you!" BUT that's not they way you should do it. DONT shout in his face. It's important to use a calm voice. DONT tell him that you dont like him. When he comes up to you, just smile and say "((his name)), I really think you're a great guy, but I've moved on with my life and so many changes have happend over last year that I think you should find another person. Now, I'm not saying lets stop being friends... I'm just saying I'm not that interested in you anymore. Sorry." after that DONT smile, he'll think you're joking or you're really mean that way. Look around and act sad, he'll get the picture that you really mean it and that you are really sorry.
Another way that I learned from my friend is hook him up with another girl! ;)
Say "I know somebody who likes you!!" and then tell him somebody and just try to get him away from you, and lure him to another girl.

Hey I really like this guy lets call him "T" ok well T is really sweet has beautiful blue eyes and totally doesnt know i exist. I have a twin brother who is in one of his classes and i always see him in the hall and we sometimes have eye contact and smile but i wouldnt call it flirting. So he know that im Kevins (my brother) twin but he doesnt know my name or anything about me. I know alot about him from my brother but my brother doesnt want to be involved in this. what helps people when they are nervous around somebody is by writing them an email, IM, or note. Don't get ahead of yourself and have your first Email/IM/note asking him to the dance... he'll probably say no right away. First start off with something simple like ask him "what's the lunch today?" when he answers smile at him and say "oh, okay! Thanks!" and just walk away. I know it may seem scary, but its now or never. Ask your brother if he can invite "t" over so then you can see him. When he comes, answer the door and pretend like you didn't expect him. So you can act all like "oh! Hi!" and then fix your hair. He'll get the point that you like him. When you are actually able to go up to him and talk to him in a conversation, just ask him to the dance. What's the worst thing that can happen... him saying no! that's all. Just be like "hey T, are you excited for the sadie hawkins dance?" He replies "yes" "cool, me too... I was wondering if you wanted to go with me." "yeah sure" If he says no... just say "oh, ok well maybe we'll see each other there." and smile and walk away. Dont get all upset and start crying, just be nice and friendly.

Well you gotta think about his facial expressions.... does he look at you like you're the star of the planet??? if so, that means he likes you. But if he looks at you just like everybody else, he may just think of you as a friend. I think he likes you because if somebody else got a question right, he wouldn't cheer for them and smile at them... right???

You're 13! Your parents love you so much! They just dont want you to get hurt that's all. It has nothing to do with "wanting you to be a cute little 5 year old again" just like the answer below... 13 is still a young age to handle peer pressure so your parents are scared that something like that will happen to you. For now.. all you can do is prove to your parents that you are a trust worthy, responsible 13 year old. Try doing extra chores around the house, take the dog out for a walk...etc. Just help out and if they get curious, just say you wanted to help out because you want to become more responsible.

Ok, as I was reading this story... you reminded me of somebody. And then that made me think and I came up with your solution.
You like 2 boys.... do a pro-con situation.
Which boy do you have most in commen with?
What do you like about these 2 boys?
What dont you like about these 2 boys?
Who likes you for who you are?
You can rate them on a scale of 1-10 or 1-5.

Most important... talk to them! How will you ever know if they like you if you never talk to them. Let them get to know you. If Brian is too shy to confront you... why dont you confront him? Go up to him and just talk with him as if he was one of your best friends. He'll get less nervous around you. As for Zack, if he won't tell anybody who he likes, and he makes it obvious that he likes you... don't you think he actually does like you????
so confront him and talk to him. talk to him as if he was one of your best friends... that way he'll feel more confident around you and maybe he'll admit that he likes you. If he still doesnt admit it, YOU admit it first. If you say "oh I really like you..." he'll say "yeah, I relly like you too."

most girls at age 13 also think they are fat, ugly, short...but then once they look at themselves in the mirror, they can see the good points of view about them. Right now you lack self confidence. You need to stop hanging your head and lift your chin up! You're actually lucky to be short... I'm 14 and 5'7!!!!!! So when you go through puberty you'll start getting taller, lose a few pounds, maybe its baby fat. As for the glasses- I know so many girls that wear glasses and they dont care. Girls 'think' that guys like girls without glasses..... but that's not true. Guys actually ((sometimes)) like girls with glasses because it makes them look smart. Don't think no guy want's to be with you because you're ugly... every girl is a princess. And if you change into those snotty girls who wear tons of make-up and flirt with guys 24/7 and go shopping everyday... I garuntee that your life will suck! Part of growing up is experiencing changes. Just keep your head high... and the right guy will come for you. All of the guys right now that dont like you are really stupid guys, because a true man would love you for who you are... not who you are pretending to be.

YES!!! of course it is normal!!!
Heres whats going on in life-
alot of people are already having boyfriends and already have had their first kiss around the age of 11-13... BUT they only do that because of peer pressure. Nobody's really doing it.... it's just people doing it because they want to "follow the crowd" and do what everybody else is doing. Everybody's not doing it... they just think everybody else is doing it. does that make scence? If it doesn't contact me and i'll describe it better.
I'm 14 and never had a bf or a kiss yet... but I dont plan on it. I'm too busy in my life for a bf right now. I have to focus on education and sports... right now at age 13 boyfriends and having your first kiss doensn't matter. All that matters is that you live your life. Besides... if you get a bf right now... there's not going to be much excitement when your 17 or 18. all the guys will think you're just "a girl who's already dated" and they wont want to be with you. So hun, trust me on this one.... Right now a bf doesn't matter.

I have the same features as you. Dirty blonde hair.. brown/hazel eyes... yup!
What I wear, people say it looks really good and amazing. So you can trust me on this.
To really make your eyes stand out ((for brown/hazel eyes)) is a purple eyeshadow or a goldish shimmery eyeshadow. You can put it on the lid of your eyes and then right underneath your eyebrows put a transparent shimmery shadow. Get a eye highlighter pencil and line the inside corner of your eyes... its makes your eyes wider and more awake. You can also put Brown eyeliner around your eyes and put a layer of mascara on. Then with that just a lip gloss and your done!

I was trying to upload the soundtrack to A Little Night Music and La Cage aux Folles on my iPod, and it won't show the song names. It'll only show stuff like "TRACK 01" and "TRACK 07" Neither of them are burned copies, either. I'm thinking maybe because neither of them are in the Music Store...

Does anyone know if it's possible to edit the song titles so it will actually show the name of the song and not just the track number?

When you see "track07" click on that once.. then wait 1 second... then click on it again. It should be highlighted and you can type in the title. You can do the same for the Artist and the Album.
