Shove it back in her face, I know it sounds mean, but if she tries to make you jealous don't let it bother you.
If she's totally bragging about a new shirt, tell her its not your favorite color. Don't be super harsh, but she'll get the picture. I've been through this MANY times with friends.
If she's all excited about her new 100$ jeans, tell her you just saw the same pair at a thrift store for 10$.
MelLeDisko answered Sunday September 24 2006, 9:46 pm: She's probably just trying to make you jealous because she's probably in reality jealous of YOU and wants you to instead be jealous of her and make you think she's the prettier, better one, etc. She's probably just having insecurities about herself. The best thing to just do is ignore her whenever she's trying to make you jealous, and just laugh it off and agree. I hope I helped. [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]
