Q: Hi ! I'm a sri Lankan who is in 20's. I would like to know as how to become a successful Christian writer? What are the serious matters I can write about and is it alright to imagine romance if I'm single?

Speak the truth. Speak the word of the lord. Tell people that they need to give thanks to the lord and have a relationship with GOD. Tell them that with GOD we have everything but without him we have nothing.If your going to be a christain writer ask the LORD what he wants you to write.

Q: I'm Catholic, and I have always believed in God.

But people talk about having personal relationships and experiences with Him and how He has spoken to them and given them signs and answered their prayers. And... I just never feel like I ever get answers to my prayers, or that He ever speaks to me in any way no matter how hard I pray.

And I fear that my faith will fade. And I need it to be stenghtened instead. I hate that i'm starting to have doubts. What can I do to make my relationship better with God, and to hear His answers?

There's this song that goes:
"I made You promises a thousand times. I tried to hear from Heaven but I talked the whole time. I think I made You too small. I never feared You at all. If You touched my face would I know You? Looked into my eyes could I behold You?

What do I know of You who spoke me into motion? Where have I even stood but the shore along Your ocean? Are You fire? Are You fury? Are You sacred? Are You beautiful? What do I know? What do I know of Holy?"

That's exactly how I feel, except that I don't know what to do about it.

GOD is always there. Whether you know it or not. Of course you may have doubts because you can't see GOD you just have to have faith. When you have faith in GOD he can help you through any obsticle. In order to have a good relationship with GOD you need to read his word.Read the bible its actually really interesting. It has stories and tells us how to live our lives for the better. I recommend beginning at Matthew 5 and just continue to read. Reading GODS word strengthens your relationship with him. Never ever loose faith. I hope that i have helped you. i recommend....

-lots of water
-cut down on the sugery foods
-do cardio its good for your entire body
-while your excersizing you should listen to music its a great motivator
-eat veggies and fruits

Q: Okay, I'm 14 and i havn't started my period yet. But today when I went to the bathroom, I had like a "brown-ish" mark on my underwear....? Does that mean I have started my period?

O and please hurry I really need to know! I am planning to go to the beach and i need to know how to tell my mom also because we are not very close at all........so if you could please answer both of those questions it would help me ALOT!

yes im pretty sure that you have started your period.thats how i pretty much found out that i have started my period.it all started with a brownish mark on my underwear. Well congrats!!
i recommend that you do tell ur mother regardless if you are close to her or not this is your time of need and you need her :)

Q: I was wondering if your high school was at all like its portrayed in the show the Secret life of an American Teenager? I'm a sophomore, and sure kids are having sex at my school but its not nearly dramatic and a big deal as it is in the show.

My mom happened to see the show so now she's got the wrong idea about my friends and my school. Sure I'm somewhat sexually active but its not like its all everyone talks about and everyone doesn't just sleep around.

I'm curious how your high schools are in comparison to the show. Thanks!

yes the show is a little over dramatized.
its a show. you also need to realize that they are trying to send a message that young teens are having sex and they are getting pregnant. things like that happen. i dont know to that extent depending on where you live and what kind of people you hang around with.In some neighborhoods it is like that. i know that 35 percent of freshmen girls are not virgins at my school. i know about 7 or 8 girls that are pregnant. By senior year at my school they assume that you are no longer a virgin. so i would say for the most part it is realistic

you can try places like the YMCA or the WMCA
or babysitting, walking dogs, doing stuff for old people like shopping :D

i was 15 years old.it wasnt great at all.in fact i laughed after.13-15 is a good age! :D

Q: My friend and I like the same boy. I dont know what to do really. Does anyone have advice for me, because i don't want to hurt her but i really like him. My age is 14 and I am a Female.

First off if you really charish your friendship you wount let a boy come in the middle of it and tarnish it. i have seen this in a lot of friendships and it kind of pathetic. i think you should tell her but let her know that you dont want him to come in between the two of you.

Q: how would you know that your jeans are a perfect fit?

because im always buying jeans that are too baggy at my butt, and thigh. and i like it tight but when i tried them on at the store they seemed pretty tight.

and im not the whole "rock, boho fashiony typa chick" i dress in like bebe, a&f, aero, rocawear, babyphat stuff.

to find a propper fit on jeans first you have to check that it fits around your waist and then its not tight on the tighs but it snugs them. you also should not have fat coming from out of the jeans. this sometimes happenes when jeans are too tight and they create a mushroom top where fat overhangs. you should feel comfortable in the jeans and not holding your breathe so they fit> hope i helped

okay well you sarted your period you didnt steal anything or get pregnant. just tell her be like mom i think i started my period.

Q: I'm going to get braces pretty soon and I'm not so excited, I just feel really sad, and mad, miserable for some reason (I have other stuff going on with my life). The reason why, is because I think I have to get both TOP and bottom D:, but my top teeth are pretty much fine. I wouldn't mind the bottom though. + I have to have them for a year and a half! That's a long time to me! That's basically my whole school life+..... and they're ugly, no offense to anyone who has them, but I think they'll look ugly on me :(, you have to take GOOD care of them, more than you do for your regular teeth, considering you'll have to have a good flossing technique etc. I have to miss some school for my appointment, it'll take a long time maybe 2 hours+, it'll hurt (maybe) :|, and I can't eat certain foods! My mom says no more candy :( but I'm not gonna listen to her hehe >:] So I was wondering, can anyone tell me true facts about braces, like if I can't eat candy anymore, or if it hurts, etc, and if you could tell me how I can get over this or tell me stories so I can feel better about my situation. :|

okay well you shouldnt worry so much. i have braces and im getting them off early because i took good care of them so i recommend you do the same. you can eat candy for sure. i would lay off of the taffy and caramel unless you want to spend hours cleaning your braces. When you get your braces tightened they are going to hurt a little so i recommend eating soft food IF you want to eat. To make you feel better once i got my braces caught in my crushes shirt it was bad. Hpe i helped! :)

well my hair was really short and i used Garnier length and strength and my hair grew an inch in a month. i was so happy and i hope you will be too

Q: Okay so I am sixteen years old and my boobs are still really small! all my friends have big boobs and i dont and its really frustrating! im kind of curvy just without boobs! does anybody know anyways to make my boobs grow? or look bigger?

okay well there is no way to make your boobs look bigger than to wear a padded bra or water bra. There is a positive side to this you can wear some clothes that your big chested friends cant. You should just learn to love your body the way that it is. Hope that i helped.

Q: ive been friends with this girl since 1st grade, on and off (little elementry school fites seperated us`during elem. school) and 5th grade everyone hated her, even my new best friend hated her too, and i almost went against her but didnt. Ive stuck by her side for the longest time, but then 6th grade came and she became freinds with everyone, and she hung out with everyone else more and more, and me less and less.

I felt betrayed, like 'what am i not good enough'. we still hung out but not alot. Then 7th grade came, and we were in differant clusters (other schools mite use teams, groups,...) and she made friends with so many differant types of people, most hated eachother. from the preppiest happiest girls, to the bitchiest wanna bees, to the 'punks' of 7th grade. and so she hung out with me even more less than last year.

We went on a summer vaca together and i thought things would be differant, or well thats what she said.

Then 8th grade came and she narrowed down her friends, and i was 'one of them' but i didnt really consider myself it. We attempted to become best freinds again like 7 times, I would send her random long notes throughout the year saying, things have gone bad again, we'd hang out, then i wouldnt speak to her for like 3-5 weeks...then id send a new note.

now 9th grade has come,in the begin, of the year, we didnt talk much but she would atleast say Hi. and talk to me alittle. then she asked me if i wanted to come over and we went through our busy sceduales (she always says shes busy) and i stayed after school with her, and she hung out with like other people and basically ignored her, then at her house we watched some boring movie, and i fell asleep. then i havent talked to her for like.....4 months. then i found out 3 weeks ago that she is always high and smokes pot, and that she isnt usually really busy, but is hanging out with potheads. geting high.

i dont know what i should. she hasnt been a good frend since elementry school, but when i needed her desperatly, she was usually there....idk.

its long but you can just skim it if you want.

ok well i have been in the same situation. she changed. she hangs around so many kinds of people that either she is like them or the leader so she changes to fit in. she seems to not have any time for you any more but when you need her most she id there. you say that she narrows down the people that she hangs around ive been hurt so becareful you may be next. im not saying she will do that to you but just in case she does. all i can say is that she will end up becoming a distant friend.

Q: i'm getting 2 teeth pulled in the back, but they are not far back they are the the first 2 teeth in the front of the back of my mouth on opposite sides on the bottom.

yeah, i was wondering how much will the novicane shot hurt? my friend said she didn't feel it, my other friend said it hurt the worst but like on a scale of 1-10 how bad is it really?

and i'm really scared for tomorrow. is it that bad?

okay well i had to get 4 teeth pulled out. yeah ouch. if you are super sensitive then it will hurt like hell. i am super sensitive and i was crying i wanted to kill the dentist for putting me through so much pain.its not that bad.good luck

Q: Ok, i am in 8th grade and will be going to high school next year. I went to one of their games(high school) and all the people who actually go to that school look so big and experienced(sp). I am small and i am not expeirienced. All the guys were holding on thier girlfriends and i know i won't get a boyfriend and i am really scared to go there next year becuase they are really grown up. Everyone is more expeirienced than me and i cant go to high school like that. Please help.

i feel the same way. i am going to be a freshmen next year and i thought the same thing. dont let having a boyfriend be your first priority.just go to school, make new friends and laugh with your buds.

she will look in you in the eyes sometimes or laugh at your jokes even if they are dumb. and if you like her then you should tell her. just say i really like you and i was wondering if you would like to go to the movies or get some ice cream with me. If you are to shy to do that then you should write it ti her. she will think that it is really cute and sweet.

Talk to her. Say hi or ask her about a homework question and say you dont understand it.Then she will end up helping you and you can get the conversation going.and since you dont want to be her friend it is because you want her boyfriend tell her how you feel.
