Vitamins like Biotin can make hair healthier. Sometimes it seems like your hair is growing faster. I damaged my hair so much that I took those vitamins every day for about 2 months. I started off with chin length hair and hair almost past my shoulders. The healthier your hair is.. the faster it will grow.
So trim those split ends and try to avoid getting them. I wouldn't suggest combing your hair while it's wet.. even with a wide tooth comb. Let your hair air dry. Avoid blowdryers. Flatirons. Don't put too much product in your hair. Never use rubberbands in your hair.
You can try a new shampoo. I used Mane N Tail. It has proteins in it to make your hair a lot thicker/fuller and healthier. It made my hair look a lot longer and softer.
You could always get hair extensions! You could go to a salon but that's expensive. You could go to a beauty store or Sally's. They sell tracks of hair that you could either glue in or clip in yourself. Clipping them in is probably good. I think it's about $20 or $30 for each track. But if you do decide to do that, remember to get enough to go around your whole head. You should also try going in to a salon to see if they would give it layers or you could do it yourself. You could also try curling the extensions too if your hair is slightly wavy. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
hottie411 answered Sunday July 29 2007, 10:50 pm: you should eat healthy food with vitamins and calcium, and what also helps is to whenever you shampoo your hair, massage your head for about a min or two while youre washing it.
you should also trim your hair every few months so you wont get split ends.
try not to blow dry your hair or straighten it or curl it or put much heat on your hair, cause that will damage it.
if you want to blow dry your hair or straighten it or something, then you should buy this thing by Paul Mitchell called skinny serum or something like that i cant really remember the name that has like a lime green top, and its meant to protect your hair from heat. if you cant find that, then just buy anything thats meant to protect your hair, but you should try to look for Paul Mitchell cause thats the best brand.

ImFakingHotPink answered Sunday July 29 2007, 10:19 pm: She has hair extensions. Nothing is proven to make your hair grow faster. I DON'T RECOMMEND HAIR EXTENSIONS AT ALL. I'm completley against them but in beuty salons like Sally's they sell clip on extensions which are always good with mixing up your hair and can help with your long hair effect.
