hi, random question but what would you say is a good age for kissing (like on the lips...with a guy you love). plz don't say "any age, as long as your ready" caz that's not what i want. when did you kiss? what's a really common age?
I had my first kiss actually around 8 or 9, but that's a different story. If you don't count that, because I was in elementary school, and I was quite the man whore =O, then my first kiss was at 14. I'm no longer dating her, and honestly, kissing and stuff should only be for people who are serious. Her and I weren't that serious, and pretty much we broke up because I felt we kissed too much and it was becoming habitual and routine. It was pretty much the same story with my last girlfriend.
But, to answer your question, the average age is from 12-15, at least from what I've experienced/heard. As the generations lose touch with morals, the age lessens. ;]
But don't judge yourself on what everyone else does. Have your first kiss when you're comfortable with it ;]

I don't think you have to completely love someone with all your heart to kiss them tho, (that's what sex and marriage is for) but you need to like them. I had my first kiss at 15 and my boyfriend (who is still my current boyfriend) was 17. I think you should be at least....13 or 14 to kiss someone, because I think some 12 and under is way too young. If I had to guess a number, I'd say 14-17 is a common age for a first kiss. I can't really say tho an age, because it's more of a feeling between the two people, and how long you've gone out. I'm not sure that helped, but I really hope it did. [ HeelsOverHead23's advice column | Ask HeelsOverHead23 A Question ]
thelaura answered Monday July 7 2008, 8:09 am: That's the thing though - there isn't a common age to kiss. Looking back at my friends track records, it varied from 13-15. I can't even remember when my first kiss was because I was young and it definitely wasn't special. :) [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]

LOL_x0x answered Sunday July 6 2008, 11:56 pm: I'd say a common age for a first kiss [like, on the lips] is between 13 and 17. I got mine when I was 14, and I'd say that's probably a good age. But you can be older or younger, it really DOES depend on when you're ready.
loveisnotxforevero1 answered Sunday July 6 2008, 11:55 pm: with a guy you love? than its appropriate no matter what age you are. as long as you are in love that is what matters. i really respect that you kiss guys that you are in love with and not much just randomly. my first kiss was at the age of 14. thats perfectly common and it could be younger it could be older [ loveisnotxforevero1's advice column | Ask loveisnotxforevero1 A Question ]
