HELP!
i think i got my first period today and i don't no how to tell my mum. I'm totally clueless!!!!!!!!!!

be like hey mom i got my period. but if you're too embarrassed or whatever just look for pads and tampons in your bathroom. and just wait a while to tell her.

i remember the day that happened to me.. i was so nervous about telling my mom that i just wrote it on a sticky note and left it on her desk instead. she found it later and was really supportive! she's been through it for years so don't feel like it has to be a bad thing to tell her!

I had that problem, too. I got my first period at school during the day, and I called her and was crying, and she basically guessed what was wrong.
"Mom, I think I started my period." Should suffice.
When you first start your period it will probably be really light and won't always be on a once a month exactly schedule.

I had that problem too. I just couldn't decide on how i should tell my mom. But you better tell her now rather than later. Because then you can just get it over with in a short convo. rather than having to talk about it for a while and why you didn't tell her. I would just take her to a private place and say mom i think i may have started my period today. It's completely normal, nothing to be ashamed of. Every woman does it...even her. Hope this helps!

its actually simple. its not like you can get in trouble. its your period. its not like your pregnant. when i first got mine, it looked brownish and it wasnt very much.. just ask your mom. it shouldnt be so hard. you should think of opening up the relationship with your mom so its not so hard to talk to her. welll good luck.. <3
