yes, i know every girl dreads their period.
i never did because i never got cramps.
all of a sudden this period i've gotten cramps.
and it hurts SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad.
what do i do to get rid of them?

work out. you can do anything. running, weight lifting, a sport... you name it. at first it will seem a little bad, but after you are done, you will feel sooo much better

i run cross country & my shin started hurting today, but to where i can still walk and everything. its not that bad, but i cant afford to get a shin splint, so what can i do to keep it from becoming a shin splint? (link)

when they start hurting, use ice cups. all you do is take those dixi cups and freexe water in them.
when you want to use one, just roll it down and rub the ice up and down.
also, to stop them from hurting while you are running, tape them. i would talk to your trainer first before doing that though.

this is for all of the volleyball players-
what do you wear under your spandex? my friend told me she has underwear spandex, like mini volleyball shorts but its underwear and you can't see any panty lines. any one know what this is called and where i can get them?

to add on to what the other people said:
there are many kinds of underwear that you can wear, but you dont have to wear any at all. it would seem a little weird but thats theonly way really that you will be 100% sre that there are no lines.
also, its volleyball, no one will really care a whole lot if they can see lines or not.

Hey! Well before I made the volleyball team, people told me I was really good. Now that I'm on the team, I'm not doing so hott. Like my serves aren't consistent and I just feel like people are doubting my skills now. I don't know. I't made me really sad and dissappointed. What do you think I should do to gain more confidence and how to become a better player?

thats what pracdtice is for :) and dont worry!!! its a new team, and a new season, so you probably arnt used to playing with them and you could judt be a little rusty. just keep on pracicing!!! maybe you could get some friends together and play some games to help you out?
make sure to always give your best, even if you arnt playing well. cuz dont worry, we all have our bad days.
you could also ask you coach for some tips too.
dont worry youll get into the groove of the game!!

yes i do. it really depends on your comfort level. try going one time with and one time without and see wich you perfer.
i wear it cuz it feels better and i dont get wegies too often.
the only down side to this is, depending on what kind of underwear you wear, you might be able to see the outside lines of you underwear.
like i said, do what you want to do.

ok well i always have these sweat marks on my shirts in my underarm area! n i dont stink but it always happens i use deoderant (dove) but it doesnt help with it..??!!!!! i dont know what to do about it school starts on monday and its imbarrassing to have!! any time i raise my arm you can see it.!!!! how can you get rid of it or does anyone no what i can use?!!!! please help!!!!! i would use certian dri. it is an anti-persperiant that you use every other night. it works GREAT!!! you can buy it at target, wal mart, walgreens etc. make sure to read the directions before you use it though!!!

instead i would use nair. it is meant for down there and you wont get razor burn or stubble or ingrowm hairs.

Okay, I have very thick, sorta-curly, a little bit longer than shoulder length hair. I can hardly scrunch it anymore, and its too thick to put in a bun. But I can straighten it. I usually just put it up in a ponytail, but I'm getting tired of that. I need some hairstyles that are pretty easy to do, and cute. Any help? (link)

when me and my friend went to the movies i took my nano ipod an she took her video ipod. she then decided that she wanted to borow mine and so we traded becuase she liked my music in it. so we traded and it was a while when i saw her. i mean we called eachother buches of time but i was to busy to hang out. well i took her ipod to school oneday and they stole it. i was so mad. someone actually went into my bookbag and stole it. i was crying hysterically and my dad was screaming at me. they still are talking about it.my mom keeps screaming at me and reminding me. i called my friend and i told her she was a bit mad at first and then she said dont worry well fix this. so i told her i was gonna give her my sisters ipod. but my sister didnt want to give her vodeo ipod becuase 1). her pod is wayy newer then my friends and it has NO scratches and my friends had scratches and 2). my sister bought it with her own money. my parents dont have 300 bucks right now to buy a new ipod. so they told me to tell my friend to wait a while ,while i get the money. i told her and she got mad. she told me that she wanted my sisters and my sis didnt want to give hers. so she told me to give her my moms cell number becuase her mom wanted to speak with my parents. so i did and they talked and my firends mom was so eman to my mom. my mom got mad so they closed and her moom said she'll call back to speak to my dad or else this will get serious. i dont know what she meant by that. my friend doesnt talk to me and well i dont want to either because i feel like she traded our friendship for a stupid ipod. and we were so close. we had so many plans together for the summer and my mom says now that im not allowed to hang out with her and i doubt it that my ex friend wants to be friends. what really gets me mad is the fact that i wanted to give my friend her ipod 2 times! first we were at the mall and she said no keep it for longer and the second time was when i was near her house and called her but she was tlaking to her bf and sed she would call me bak but didnt! i dont know what to do! please help any adive comments? anything?. oh i cant trade in my ipod nano which is liek 130 bucks for a video ipod which is 300. thats impossible. thnaks so much!

ok first of all i would NOT get your sister into this. this is between you and your ex-friend so i wouldnt promise anything of your sisters to her.
this is as much as her fault as it is yours, even though it isnt. she lent you her ipod taking the risk that you could of ACCIDENTALLY broken it or (in this case) had it stolen from you.
i would first sit down and talk with your parents. tell them that you had made a mistake bringing it to school and that you are really sorry for all the trouble it has caused. also that you will get a job babysitting, mcdonalds, etc to help pay for it. also that you will talk to her parents.
next i would go to your friends house. if her parents open the door tell them that you would like to speak with their daughter , that you are really sorry that this happened and that you want to work this out. if you feel brave anough i would also sit down with them and explain the whole story of swiching the ipod and how it got stolen.
if they wont listen, or wont let you come in, try calling her instead. before she makes an excuse not to talk say that you are really sorry and that you are getting money right now to get her a new ipod. tell her that you shouldnt let a ipod come inbetween your friendship and that you really value hers.
if she doesnt listen, dont get frusterated. i would keep on going with getting some money and buying her a ipod. there are also places besides the apple store that sell ipods. ebay, radio shack etc. send it to her in the mail and hopefully she will relize that you truely are sorry.
remember that this is an accident and you didnt do this on purpose.

there is this one cake that is AMAZING and it is really easy to make:
Oreo & Fudge Ice Cream Cake
1/2 cup fudge ice cream topping- warmed slightly
1 cup of the 8 oz cool whip- thawed, the rest of the cool whip will be used for the frosting
1 pkg instant chocolate pudding 4 oz
8 Oreo cookies
12 vanilla ice cream sandwiches
Pour fudge topping into medium sized bowl.
Stir in the 1 cup of the whipped topping with the fudge topping using a wire wisk.
Add the dry pudding mix.
Stir for two minutes
(if it is too thick stir in 1/4 cup milk)
Chop Oreo cookies into chunks
Stir the Oreos into pudding mixture
Lay foil on the bottom and sides of a 24 x 12 pan
Arrange 4 vanilla sandwiches side by side on the bottom of the pan
Lay half of the pudding mixture on top of the sandwiches.
Repeat
Lay the sandwiches on the very top
There should be 3 layers of sandwiches & 2 layers of pudding
Frost the top and the sides with cool whip
Bring up the foil sides, double on top like a tent
Put in freezer for 4 hours minimum
Take out into room temperature before serving
ENJOY!!!

that means that in the cookie there is orange juice in it. i guess the recipe wanted to say that it was not concentrated orange juice and that it was tropicana orange juice. maybe it makes a difference in the taste of the cookies if you use a different kind.

My aunt was planning to get a dog and I was helping her find one online. But my uncle doesn't like dogs or any kind of animals (and they already had cats).And my aunt really wants a dog.Which she hope she gets. But I need a list of convincing ways to get my uncle to say yes to get the dog. I already told her to tell him,"This is my dog and I got it for myself."

do some reaserch! is there a certian reason why your uncle doesnt like dogs? maybe its because thay bark too much? or because of the whole house training fiasco?
talk with your uncle and explain to him that your aunt will take care of the dog. also that it would mean a lot to her if they got one.
sit down wit a bunch of books and your aunt and uncle and go through to them to find a dog they both agree on. if they dont want a dog that barks a lot, get a shih tzu. if they dont want it in the house the whole time, get a dog that is used to the outdoors.
also make sure that they see the dog they want to get a couple of times before they actually buy it.

i would use proactive. even though it is a little pricy, it works great. if you really want to get rid of them, i would at least buy something to help then go away.

make sure that you are home and helping out around the house. do some extra chores that you wuld not normally do.
also, make sure you spend time with your mom. maybe plan a weekend doing something you both like to do. she would love that.

I absolutely hate my boobs. They're kind of triangular and saggy, plus I have huge nipples, or at least the part around the nipple, it's the size of a pepperoni >.<
So basically I was wondering if there was anyway to make my breasts more round and perky, without plastic surgery... and although I highly doubt there is anyway to make the size of my nipples smaller, maybe you know of a way? you could try a hevily padded bra or a push-up bra. dont worry, if you are still going through adolescence, they will change!!!
