I always get zits, ect. I know most people go through that but is there any advice for skin? I don't use stuff like proactive or anything bought. I wash my face and all but any advice you can through out?
queenhearts answered Friday July 13 2007, 11:18 pm: I gave up with products really. I'm not really one to wash my face every day only when I had proactive because that stuff really worked.
But I'm on birth control right now, my face is under slight control right now.
Besides that.. I drink lots of water. I gave up soda for a number of reasons and since I only drink water, my face cleared up a lot.. You can try face scrubs. Don't touch your face a lot. Oily hair can be a cause of zits.
You can maybe try some acne spot treatment. Use overnight.
I use face masks. Those make my face look less red and feel smoother. Those usually cost about $2 and you could use it once a week.
I also did this..
I bought a small bottle of aspirin and honey. I put a few drops on about 2-3 aspirin tablets and waited for it to dissolve. I put 2 drops of honey on it.. It's a pretty good exfoliator. My face felt really good and my acne got better too.
Well pretty much, if you treat your body good.. [eating healthily and getting your vitamins] as I heard.. it will show on your face. People say to "cleanse" your insides by no junk foods.
DepthofHeart answered Friday July 13 2007, 11:06 pm: Proactive woeks really well, but if you don't want to spend the money try Neutrogena. It works well also. Use the Acne scrub, toner, face masks... Anything from that product works.
lilmissmuffet15 answered Friday July 13 2007, 10:38 pm: i would use proactive. even though it is a little pricy, it works great. if you really want to get rid of them, i would at least buy something to help then go away.
