My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.

I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

I know exacly what you are going through. It was really hard for me when my parents are fighting. My parents even said that they would get a devore. Couple of weeks later they were back to normal. Now they are fine. I'm sure your parents wont get a devorce. They will stop fighting in a lil bit. Just give them time. If it helps maybe you could spend the night at your friends house so you dont have to worry about them as much. I hope everythign works out. x0

Ok, there is this boy named David in 1/6 of my classes. He sits in the last seat in the row next to me. My friend sits right behind me and whenever I turn to talk to her, I catch David staring at me and we suddenly make eye contact. Out of that infomation ( I might add more ), do you think he likes me?

i was at my friend's house and we decided to prank my crush (because he's the type of guy who would sort of play along). well when we called him, we couldn't stop laughing so well he couldn't really play along with that and hung up. he was sounded pretty upset (like when he was asking who is this). but i don't know, what if he recognizes me by my laugh? my friend said that i didn't exactly disguise my laugh but that it's ok-but if he knows it was me, wow i'm dead. everyone will definitely know i like him (trust me, they already suspect it!). and plus he'll like hate me, which i really don't want because he's like the sweetest and funniest guy ever!! i dont know what to do, please help!

o0 I`m sorrie that must suck! I think that its best if you told him the truth. If you dont want to then dont but if he asks you about it then tell him. You dont want to lie to him about it. If he gets mad tell him it wasnt only you who pranked him and that it was also your friend.It doesnt matter if everyone knows that you like him tho and its really no big deal. There is this guy and we always talk on the internet (AIM) and I always tell him to come up and talk to me at school, and he says okay he will and I say im gonna hold that up to him. When we are at school and I see him he never says anyting to me he just walks away. I wanna say somthing to him so bad about it but im shy too. I aways catch him looking at me what should I do?

He's obviously shy! Thats why you should come up to him and say hi! You have to be comfident about it! It's no big deal if you come up to him and say hi he wont think that you are a freak or anything. Make him belive that you arent shy because its not good if you both are shy and nether of you will talk to each other at school. So.. say hi to him when you see him! x0

I cant get a foundation to match my skin, because I am so pale. Does anyone know any good brands?

Covergirl,Maybeline,Neutrogena, those are really good. If you are really pale dont get one that is too dark. I think the medium shade is the best! x0

(Sorry if this turns out really long!) I've only been cutting myself for a little over two weeks but I'm already addicted. I told my boyfriend first because I vent to him a lot. I trust him and he can comfort me. Then later I told my teacher and she suggested for me to talk to my school counselor. My teacher told my parents, too. My mom talked to me but it wasn't about ME, it was about what my sister went through. It wasn't helpful. So I talked to the couselor. She freaked out and kept telling me, "You can't do that! STOP! You have to stop! If you do it again I'll tell the principal!" That is not what I expected from her. It wasn't helpful or encouraging. It was threatening! It almost made me want to cut! Later that day I was sitting alone in the gym slicing the skin on my arms and my Gym/Health teacher saw me and made me go alone in a room with him to talk. He kept telling me that even though life may suck now, it'll get better because I "have a good mind". I didn't think it was helpful either, but I started crying. Everytime I had to talk to someone, I wanted my boyfriend there holding my hand helping me endure it. I feel uncomfotable around everyone but him. One day my teacher actually tried to send me home because I was cutting and crying and miserable. I told her I didn't want to go home, I just wanted to talk to James. (James is my boyfriend.) She said she couldn't let him out of class. I glared at her and wouldn't talk to her. She called my parents and they took me home. The whole time I wanted to scream, "I JUST WANT JAMES!" When I got home I just reread old notes from my bf. He's the only one who can comfort me and it feels like he's the only reason I go on living. Do I depend on him too much? How can I stop cutting if I have nobody to talk to? Please comment or give advice! Sorry so long!

I know how you feel trust me. Exept I couldnt go to my boyfriend and tell him. It doesnt matter about that anyways now. But cutting is hard to stop and I got addicted to it to for a short period of time. My friends saw my arms and they asked me what it was so I told them. Then later on all of my friends found out. It totally sucked exept none of the teachers or my parents found out. The only people who knew were my friends. They made me stop and I still am trying soo hard to. But you can do it. I think its awesome that your boyfriend makes you feel great and that he comforts you! Maybe you can talk to one of your best friends about this and maybe she can help you out! The way I kinda stoped is my friends made a lil cut on their arm to make me stop and I relized how much I didnt want them doing it and I understood how they felt. It's also best if you talked to your friends also. It will help and they will help you get through it trust me. You are really lucky that your boyfriend comforts you. Think of him and dont cut. umm well i rele like this guy, but the thing is im 13 and hes gonna turn 15 soon.. but ive known him for about 5 years and ever since then ive always been obbsessed with him and acting so stupid around him. i just dont know. im always ok with other guys around but when ever im around him i feel like im ugly or just plain stupid. a few years ago his friends said that he liked me but i dont belive it n e more. i just dont know what to do ! how can i stop acting like sucha weirdo around him? how can i get him to like me again? i rele need ur help. by the way you give great advice !

Thank ya! =) Well acually if you act kinda stupid around him and like silly its just that you really like him and that you feel comftrable with him! I`m sure he doesnt think ur a freak or anything by that. And I also think that he still might like you. He wouldnt stop liking you because of how you act around him as long as you arent rude l0l which you arent. You dont have to stop acting like a weirdo around him. It's just who you are and you are comftrable to be hyper and crazy around him which is good because you wouldnt want to be all boring. Maybe you could talk to his friend (the one that said he liked you) and find out if the guy still likes you. If you dont want to do that that just talk to this guy yourself and find out. Tell him how you feel and I`m sure he feels the same way! x0

ok well i liked this kid, we'll call him fred, :P well, anyway my friend, we'll call her megan, was always up on him when i liked him. well i stopped liking him and she laid off. and the other day she told me she likes him, so i went up and told him cuz she asked me to, and hes like, yeh thats cool, but i like you again. and i was like woh ok? so i was hanging around him alot and stuff, and then today "megan" was like, i cant believe ur nosing around my guy. and i was like, WOAH OK FIRST OF ALL, and i told her what she'd been doing, and she was like, well atleast he liked me! and i was like, ok no he didnt, and he likes me. and she was like, yeah right i doubt it, so i went up to him and askedh im and he said yeh and now shes all pissed at me, and its not my fault.

She shouldnt do that to you! Tell her how you feel and if she gets mad at you for something again and when you get in fights dont come back to her and say sorry to her.. let her say sorry to you. If it happens again maybe you could just forget about her for a lil while. x0
