Be the saddest, darkest kid in school, get pity from people, and make friends. No, I kid. Seriously, be happy for her. She's doing this not only for herself but for you and your siblings(if you had any). Change can be scary at times, but I'm sure this one is the right decision. Don't worry....

Support her? It's cool that she is willing to risk security and normalcy for something she really wants. Not everyone is willing to go back to college and learn something new once they get older. Sure it'll be different, but that's how life is... full of changes.

my aunt (kinda my mom) is going back to college too! i have no problem with it. deal with it, accept that your mom is going. its better, cause then your mom is out of the apt. or house or whatever, and you get time alone! lol

Support her. It's good that your mom wants to make a better life for herself and her child.
