My brother died 2 weeks ago and I really don't know what to do. I lived with him because my mom died 3 years ago and my dad used to beat and rape me. He was more like a father than a brother to me and I really don't know what to do. I've been staying with my friend until I get a foster family and she is always asking me if I'm ok and I'm really not. I don't know what to do with myself. I even tried drugs and I've been drinking a lot. I just want to kill myself and I'm so scared of what's going to happen next. I love him soo much and he was pretty much all that I had and now he's gone. I haven't even cried because I just can't, does that mean that there's something wrong with me? Why can't I just cry like normal people do when something happens to them? I really think that I'm a horrible because I can't even cry for my own brother. Please help me

There's nothing wrong with you.I think you are just in a state of shock that a thing like that could happen to your brother.Find someone who can comfort you.A close friend, another family member.Maybe even try a physcologist.Drugs and drinking aren't the answer.It may seem like noone is there to help you, but just tell some people you trust.They'll be concerned.I hope everything goes ok!

i am getting major bullied at school. everyon says to stick up for myself but it's so hard. my teacher knows but they don't do anything which is screwed up. i talked to the counselor and she said to confront them in person but i don't want to do that becuause that pus me in danger

If those people are the type that would fight you about it I understand.I thought that I could put myself in danger by sticking up for myself, but I saw that once I dissed them they back-downed quickly.Just use sarcasm and say things like 'wow, you hurt my feelings' make it obvious that you don't care what they say.Or just laugh at what they say like you think it's a joke.Trust me, a laugh isn't the reaction they were hoping for and it will end up emberassing them on their part.Trust me, if you do it right, they will stop the first time you emberass them and people are around to see.

I'm a girl, freshman in highschool- my group of friends at school do all sorts of things almost every weekend- and I've never been invited once. I'm tired of wondering every Friday if thier making plans, and hoping I get invited. I'm sick of everytime it's one of their birthdays having to sneak around to find out wether or not their having a party, because I KNOW I'm not going to get invited.

Here's the thing, though- I go to a very small school, less than 50 students in my intire grade and so it's not like I can just ditch them and find new friends.

What can I do?

Try asking them if you can come.Maybe they aren't aware that you're getting left out.Try to be more fun because they might not be inviting you because you don't seem like you will enjoy it.Act really hyper and tell jokes!!!It works for me!!!

hi this mite be really weird, im dyslexic and im in my final year, my computer teacher is always really nice and knows what to say when my confidense is low if i cant do sumething,the thing is his wife was in a car crash so he hasnt been in, and ive really missed the attention that he usully gives me. its nothing like sexual atraction.. he leavin at the end of this yaer and i dont know if it the attention im missing or him?

You are not stupid.I love attention also.Just think of what your teacher would say if he was there and use that as encouragement.You'll find it will help.Think about how proud your teacher will be that you are doing work without having him guiding you.You can do it!

I was like that last year.I was obsessed beyond belief.Make plans with friends..Sign up for an activity....Just make sure you are socializing because once you make more friends you'll find that you will rarely go online.

ok i just found out that we might have to move, and if we do i wont be going to the same school. now heres the problem, we dont have the money to move or to stay in the house we have right now. so i dont want to move and im to young to work any where really.so what should i do?????????

Well, if you don't have the money, but you must move, you might have to work. It's part of growing up.If your parents can't make enough money they might want you to help because you're a family and need to be there for eachother.I'm afraid you don't really have a choice if you need money that badly.Talk to your parents about it.Who knows? Maybe they have everything under control and they are doing the extra work.

ok, this isnt too good, but when someone gets caught in a lie they will only admit to a fraction of the truth (fractious) so they are a trouble maker...let me know if that helps..its all i could think of!

I can't believe that Britney is pregnant with Kevin Federline's baby! Ewww...I mean the baby is going to turn out messed out because of Kevin! Ugh I wish she had a baby with Justin because then, the baby would be gorgeous! I am really upset about this and I was mad the whole day! I think you need to stop obsessing.(no offense), but it's her baby and whatever she decides to do is her bussiness..just because the public knows about it doesn't mean make your life revolve around how her baby is going to turn out.Just find a hobby or something because all these opnions are just going to start trouble.

OK i was at school to day and i saw 1 of my friends hitting this other 6th grader with his jacket. When i told him to stop he turned around and hit me as hard as he could with the jacket.... encluding the zippers and strings. He hit me so hard he left a huge bruse and its been red for a while. My question is this..... is that concidered harassment? the problem is i dont wanna tell because he is a friend of mine. thanx!!!!!

What should I get my boyfriend for his birthday (he'll be 16)? I know what he likes, but he's already got a billion of those things already. I wanted it to be different and unique. My best friend is really rich and she always likes to brag about her $3.2 million mansion and how mine is only worth $1.2 million. I never really had a problem with her being so "Oh mine is better than yours" because shes done it with our cars, our clothes, etc. But its beginning to bug me because she wrote me this really long email about how she went to Hollister Co. and bought $3,000 worth of stuff. She began listing it one by one. 37 logo shirts ($721), 7 pairs of capris ($276)...and she listed it all the way to underwear, flip flops, mini skirts, shorts, bathing suits, and fragrance. Is that just a little too much? Because I think so. See my family is rich, but we like to save our money. But her family, blows it all on stuff they dont really need. Her $3,000 wardrobe will be thrown out when spring/summer is over. The email really bothered me...I'm not jealous. I can go to Hollister and spend a lot of $$ too. But, how can I teach her that money is not everything...and tell her she can save money while still looking great in all the latest fashion and styles?

Yea..I know, I get people bragging to me all the time.Just say "You're not rich, your parents are!"It's true..Does she use all of her own money that she earned and not money that was just given to her?Tell her, if you're going to brag about stuff you got it's kinda pitiful to be bragging about something you didn't pay for.That will probraly start a fight, but if you get that fed up with her let her know.Eventually she'll get over it, and realize what she's doing

It's your dad's obligation to be concerned about you.i'm sure he doesn't have much interest in yelling at you, he just wants to help you.It's really not his fault because parents want to be more involved in their child's lives than we may be allowing them to.I mean, you should have told your dad.He's probraly just scared for you and in shock.Don't be mad at him.Talk to him and tell him how you were scared of his reaction and you learned from your mistakes.

ok.. so my mom got a boyfriend and shes 48 hes 38 and i am 15 he also has a son who is 7 years old.
well my mom was a single mom ever since i was 3 and as a couple of boyfriends all that she has broken up with .
She basically raised me to hate guys .. i guess

Even though it may not seem like it.This is a great oppurtunity.You now have a father.Also you have a 7 year old brother...Babysitting money!!!Maybe he will even look up to you.The more the merrier.This is really more about your mom because she needs someone on her level to relate with.Now there will be more love to go around..

I have glasses and I think that is the reason why no boyz like me. My friend, Zoe, is beautiful, gets all the boyz, all the girlz wanna be her friend, and she gets like an I-POD and an electric gutair and stuff. But, anyway, I think I am nice, cool, quiet, all my friends even say so, so I just dont understand why no boyz like me. I think its just becuz I wear glasses and that hurts. I wouldn't worry about it.As long as you got friends that's all you need.Boys don't mature until they get older.I'm sure it's not your glasses.Who said they don't like you?Maybe they do, but sometimes to get a boyfriend he has to start off as just a friend because you need to know eachother first.
Just make an effort to talk to some guys.
