What should I get my boyfriend for his birthday (he'll be 16)? I know what he likes, but he's already got a billion of those things already. I wanted it to be different and unique. My friend had the idea of getting him like a build-a-bear that i make with a birthday outfit and stuff. Does that sound totally cheesy or is it a cute idea? I wasn't sure.. But if you have any other good ideas, please help me!

I agree with grly, and everyone else who said $$ or a picture.

russianspy1234 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 4:54 pm: it sounds totally cheesy, but cheesy is cute. hes gonna love no matter waht you get him. if hes 16 he should be getting a car soon, you could try a car accessory. other than that gift ideas are hard without more info. You could also make a scrapbook with pictures of you two and your friends.
icey0990 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 4:05 pm: no its a good idea! I read about someone on here who was going to give their friend an empty pizza box and inside there were pictures of them..she got her a pizza and had the empty one under it so when she went for the other pizza, there was the creative present. So something like that might be a good idea. Maybe you guys can spend the evening watching tv/movies , cuddling.. then get the pizza.

grly_tough_chik answered Sunday April 10 2005, 4:00 pm: The Bulid-a-Bear is not totally cheesy. That could be an option, or you could get him something personalized, like a picture of the two of you in a nice frame, or some art you made, or something handmade. Ask him what he wants and go from there. For instance, if you ask him and he says he wants a certain CD get him one from the same genre. Or, since he's turning 16, you could get him something car-inspiried, as he would be getting his liscense soon (i'm guessing). I hope this helps!
