designs for icons

Question Posted Saturday April 16 2005, 2:14 pm

Do any of you know any good sites to get background designs for icons on? I usually use google picture search but I can't seem to find what I am looking for. So my question is where can I find good backgrounds for icons? Thank you in advance.

Paint is good!! WOOHOO!! Ok, I don't know what you're looking for as in a background, but you can try the following. (most are search engines, but are a couple that are a picture sites. Beware - you have to resize the pics!)

-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) (horse images ONLY!)

-[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) (the search engine part is okay)

You can also use LiveJournal, MySpace, Xanga etc. skins and resize them. You can look around the MSN site, too.

Good luck!!

BTW, I really like Acclaim Images... there are ALOT of really, really beautiful (and some... grotesque) pictures there.

LiveJournal has a ton of communities that have journals filled with icon bases. You can do a search on there or you can click this and there are many sites listed: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location).

I've tried finding actual websites but basically any journal site such as LiveJournal and GreatestJournal all have communities for icon bases.
