What happens if you don't eat lunch before you got your blood test? I think that's what you call it when you get a needle and they suck the blood.

Like the other columnist said, you could feel dizzy & feel like you are going to pass out. Some blood test require you actually not to eat. It depends on what type of test you are getting. They will give you all of the details beforehand.

I think you might be just bored. If you've been kissing a lot of guys, that could explain it. You've been doing it often & it isn't as fun & interesting anymore. You may want to stop for a bit & wait for the right guy to come around so it's interesting again. It isn't abnormal or anything. You are probably just bored.

im a junior in high school and this girl is a freshmen, we became really really close in like 3-4 months, we called each other best friends. we were OBSESSED with each other but now for the past like month we can't go two days without fighting. everything we say to each other is taken offensively and everything is a competition. we get mad at each other for everything and nothing works out. i havent fought with anyone in years before her, and now sometimes i just like hate life. she makes me absolutely miserable sometimes and we've both said some pretty hurtful things to each other. we've taken space.. but it doesn't do anything, we always just make up but a day later we fight again. basically what i'm asking is how do you know if you're supposed to just let her go or keep working on the friendship? eeven with everything i said before i can't imagine my life without her.. even when we're fighting i'm constantly checking her away message or facebook or whatever.. i jus can't imagine not being friends but i can't go on the way we are.. any help woould be great thank you

I think that you answered your own question basically. If she makes you miserable, she isn't a true friend. Yes, people fight, but if its to the point where your life is becoming more complicated, it isn't worth it. Talk to her about it & explain your feelings about the situation. If you tried multiple times & it still doesn't work out, I think that's a good indication that you should move on from being friends or try one last time & if it doesn't work then let it go.

I'm 17 years old. Male.

I recently got a job at Sears. I love it. This may sound weird, but I wear eyeliner. I guess I just like it. Anyways. When I wore it to work, my manager told me not to wear it anymore. The next day, I still wore it. He told me that he would make me leave if he saw me wearing eyeliner at work again. He said it isn't "business professional".

To me, this seems like it's prejudice. Women can wear it, but men can't? In the handbook, Sears claims to not discriminate based on gender, but I'm starting to think otherwise.

What should I do? I really want to wear it and express myself at work, but I also need this job.

Talk to your boss about it. I think you're right. If women are allowed to wear eyeliner, you should be able to also. If other female employees are not allowed to wear it [which I doubt is the case] then obviously you shouldn't be able to either & then it isn't prejudice. Talk to him & ask him why he feels that you shouldn't wear eyeliner if other employees can. If he becomes rude or ignores it, bring up the situation about gender & how you feel you are being discriminated against. Talking to him may put your job in danger because he did tell you not to wear it & might get frusterated with you, but your rights are way more important. You could also talk to your parents, other employees, managers, or even the Sears company themselves.

Ohkay. well i was looking at someones profile, and i moved it up as FAR as possible to the top left hand corner. well now i cant move it back to the middle of the screen lmao. its really frustrating.

I've done this before! I seriously sat there for a few minutes trying to get it back down. I don't remember exactly what I did but I think you have a few options. Did you try shutting down your computer & then signing back into AIM?? I think if you shut it down completely, when you sign back in the boxes wouldn't be open so you can open a new one regularly. If you try it & it goes back to the same spot in the corner of the screen, I'm not sure how many options you have. You can try playing around with it & try pulling it down but it may not work. I tried googling it but nothing came up. You might want to talk to a computer tech or something.

I'm pretty sure unlocked phones work the same way. It might be difficult for you to find it though & for it to work with your company. There are AT&T phones that are similar to the Chocolate if you want to check those out also.

Alright, it doesn't matter what kind of make up I use, it never seems to set on my face right. I don't use a lot, and it just makes my face look powdery. At the moment I have Loreal Bare Naturale...it's been working better. Oh, and I also sometimes use Loreal True Match Liquid Foundation. But can anyone give any tips?

A lot of people go through this. You just aren't interested. You get bored easily. You need to set your priorities & see what you really want. If you are truly interested in him as a boyfriend, you won't become bored so fast. Try being his friend first though & see how it goes from there. A lot of people go for the chase & once that's over, they move on. Don't think too much about it though. You should give him a chance as your friend & talk to him about it.

Ok I'm candy selling for my church and I am doing it for the church and to go on a trip but to go on the trip I need to sell 15 boxes. Its really hard too because alot of people won't buy. I'm 13 and my parents let me sell but they won't take me anywhere so I went with my friend the last 2 days and I sold 1 box and almost 2. I need to sell alot. There are 24 candies in each box and it is $1.50 each. It is 3 weeks long though. Since my parents won't take me I have to find someone else to take me everyday. So far the next three days I won't be able to sell because everyone is working and my friends get out of their school earlier than mine so I won't be able to go with them. Thursday and Friday I found a ride and probably Sat. and Sun. I will go with a friend. Sorry it was long but does anyone have any tips or something that can help me! Please!

I think you should talk to your parents about this. It is their decision. Maybe you can find a family friend or a relative that can help you sell. You could also talk to people at church who are in charge of it. You could try getting a group of people together from church. Just be nice & respectful to the people you are selling to & explain why you are selling it. It is for church, so that may persuade them to buy it since it is going to a good cause.

I'm pretty sure she uses some type of clip or bobby pin. What you can do is go online to www.mtv.com & go under the MTV shows tab. There, you can watch full episodes of the real world. Find the scene you're looking for, pause it at a spot where you can see her hair, & try to figure out exactly how she has it. It seems like she just has her top/front pieces clipped back. You can google it also.

Do you mean an advicenator's layout?? To make your own, you have to have a paid account. If you do, you can change it by going to Column Settings on the left hand side. If you don't, you can only change your layout in certain ways by going to Column Settings & changing the font colors. You can't really change text, unless you change the style of your layout which you can preview at the top of the settings page.

That site has a bit of information about the Golden Corral & jobs there. Every state is a bit different with their money, so I'd assume it would be minimum wage for a waitress which is somewhere between $3-$7 an hour depending where you live plus tips. Waitressing is very difficult [you should know since you've been a waitress], but I heard that restaurants like that have a very nice working environment. I definitely wouldn't say it's easy, but you can make it fun depending on the people you work with & the attitude you have. Obviously customers can sometimes make things a bit more difficult than they need to be. You'll go through a lot of training most likely, so you should talk to other waitresses & employees there. Every restaurant is a bit different.
