Definitely number one. Not only can you get more creative with this idea (There's not much of a variety when considering 2 and 3) but you also promised a friend. I'm not sure what your feelings are when dealing with promises to friends, but I generally try to keep them.

March 04 - through a friend of a friend we are both spending an evening at a mutual friend's place taking the mickey out of eachother
April 04 - I found an excuse to email him (lives on the other side of the world)
email contact for 6 weeks progresses to him saying "so why don't you have a boyfriend, you're lovely"
July 04 - he calls me, 3 hrs on the phone trying to get him to realise that yes, I fancied him
one week later - he wants to see me again and suggests I take a trip, I suggest that if he want to see me that much, he'll take the trip to see me"...he agrees and we find a time that suits my work schedule
between july and September we spend 2-3 hours on the phone each mornign & evening - mostly him calling me, countless emails, texts, msn messenger etc...
September 04 - we spend two weeks together, it's amazing in every way.
Before he returns home we talk about what we do from here, I suggest trying to get my work posted to where he is , he agrees saying that would give us theopportunity to test living together
October 04 - I have a more fantastic offer from my boss than the one I proposed (sebatical allows me time off with job guaranteed at the end, holiday pay paid out up front, plus my boss will set up a job over there for me) I'm elated...call the man
He gives me reason after reason why moving to his country is a bad idea right now (weather, flatmate doesn't want additional person in the house, flat lease requires 2 months notice to leave, no girl has made an effort for him before, I love my career and he's worried that my boss allowing a 9 month sebatical will result in my not getting my job back at the end of it)
I give him space, don't contact him
He tells me I don't call anymore
I ask what's happening, I need to give my boss an answer, he advises, I'll call you after work babe...
I wait about a week (he's overseas with work)
He calls but hasn't spoken to flatmate properly yet
I get drunk at a party in the weekend, call him, get emotional, cry (ok, cry a fair bit)
When he finally phones a few days later it's to give me that cheesy "I don't know how to say this but I think we should just be friends" line
He gave me these reasons:
there are reasons (nope, I have no idea what these illusive 'other reasons' are)
if would be different if we lived in the same country, met and dated, then lived together.....but me putting everything on hold and us living together after 12 days and one evening makes him feel pressured
Over the week previous to our last conversation I too decided that living together was a bit of a big step and would mean I would rely on him too much, so arranged alternative accommodation with family, hence removing that pressure from us both. Unfortunately he had already made up his mind when he gave me the friends speech, so I didn't get the chance to let him know.
I think this guy is fantastic, he is everything I never thought I would find. He has said the same without my prompting.
I don't understand why he has cut me off, please help I'm devastated.

I agree with chaos in that those excuses he fabricated are complete crap. A couple of them make sense, but because the majority of them seem to be crap, it leads me to believe that they all are crap. "no girl has made an effort for him before, I love my career and he's worried that my boss allowing a 9 month sebatical will result in my not getting my job back at the end of it", this, right here, is bull shit. He probably panicked, realized he didn't want a serious relationship (probably especially one with someone he's only known for a small period of time and has barely seen), and chose the pathetic way out that most guys choose. Trust me, the problem is completely with him, and since he's not courageous enough to tell you what he really thinks, it's hard to tell what really went through his mind. I'm pretty sure that he decided this sometime before October. He may seem fantastic, but to me he seems typical.

Why would you even ask this? Even if most of the guys picked A, what does that prove? That guys are shallow? You know most guys would choose A, regardless of what their answer might be. Especially younger guys. They can't stand dating girls who are smarter than them. Sure, the right choice is definitely B, but you gotta know that this is not how most guys think. Alrighty, well this is about that boy Jake that i wrote about before. As I said Jake calls me everyday and I like him a lot, but yesterday we were talking on the phone and hes like god how come you never call me or talk to me in school? Im sick of your sh!t I always have to call you but w/e forget it im sick of it and Im not calling you anymore! And he was yelling at me and all and I was telling him im sorry and all and hes like w/e it doesnt matter if you call me now or what i dont care. Well i said the reason i didnt was because i didnt know if he wanted me to, and he said that was the stupidest thing he has ever heard because he doesnt know if i want him to call me so thats not an excuse. And he kept saying that it didnt matter because the only reason that i would start talking to him was because he said something. So today I was looking for my friend during homeroom and i went up to him and asked if he saw her and he just walked away from me! I dont know what to do im so upset, i left school early because i was feeling sick worrying about it so much and i could focus :(!!

Damn! I'd say I know how he feels, but there's no way of justifying why he is so angry. I'm going to guess that he hasn't talked to anyone about how he felt. He just pictured what you thought of him, and because there was no contact with you or anyone else to disagree with his idea of your opinion of him, it became more and more distorted until it lead to his outburst. It's like if you thought someone might be talking behind your back and you never confronted them. You'd never forget the idea of them doing it so the might would turn into a definite in your eyes. Anyway, that's my best guess and explanation. There are other possibilities, but I think this is the most likely.
As for what you can do, probably nothing. I mean, if he refuses to talk to you, anything you said wouldn't matter because it wouldn't be heard. I'm guessing anything you could do would be ignored just as easily. You already apologized and explained yourself, that should have been enough. He's too self-involved to see that. You're just going to have to wait until he cools down or comes to you, though personally after an episode like that I wouldn't want anything to do with him. That type of explosive anger can't be good in a friendship let alone a possible relationship.

The world has brought together by internet but there are some outstandingly obscene websites and titles which are mentally disturbing. I came across one of the site which shows porn photographs and movies on the sex relationship between Mom-Son, Dad-Daughter. Can it happen? I stronlgy believe that it is highly impossible. The relation between parents and their kids is such a holy and lovely relation, that they can't even imagine such thing about each other. I am really disturbed after accidentally watching that site. It's become a trend in my area for some very ignorant people to steal campain signs from public and private yards. Basically, all of the Kerry/Edwards signs have come up missing only to be found dumped with big W's spray painted on them. I am disgusted by this, as I'm sure any self respecting Bush supporter would be too. I am for Kerry, but I would never think of imposing on anyone's right to speak out for the candidate that they believe in.
It's gotten quite bad. I took a two minute walk down the road and saw three or four Kerry/Edwards signs. Four hours later they were all missing.
I want to express my views with a few signs in my yard, but I do not want them to be vandalized. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could go about doing this? (link)

ok look there is a rumor going around in my school saying that i stuck my tongue down this girls throat which i didn't. but there are more rumors being thought up about me and this girl. her friends bielive every word of it. and so i tried talking to them, but they wouldnt listen. so i made this petition saying this "This petition is to say that you believe that the rumor whether you have or haven’t heard it that. You strongly believe that Tiago Marti did not spread a rumor saying that he stuck his tongue down Ashley’s throat or any other rumor that involves him with anybody.

Personally, I think this is a bad idea. You don't want the rumors to go around, right? You want people to just drop it, right? Well, all this is going to do is remind them of the rumor, and it's going to take longer for them to forget it. This petition will be a constant reminder of this rumor. I say you just let it pass, and don't talk about it. Unless of course you like all the attention. In that case you should make the petition.

Even if you think your in love, that doesn't necessarily mean your ready. Many things can masquerade as love. These include a crush, lust, intimacy, etc. It's likely that since you've asked this question you're not ready. I'd wait until there isn't a doubt in your mind that you're ready. Well ther is a boy I like at school who is really ugly but hez extremely funny and none of my friends know cuz they have crushes on him too! Well Monday he had a bee stinger stuck in him and well he hasn't been to school since monday.... i know this is really stupid but i'm scared hez allergic to bees and they couldn't get the stinger out...I am scared okay! i have problems sleeping at night...i always imagine that somethings in my room or someones trying to break in and i feel really uncomfortable. also, when i blow dry my hair, sometimes i freak out because i think of someone on the news that went missing or was murdered and i feel like theyre standing right behind me haunting me..also at midnight, or late, when im walking down the hall, i always run just in case someone is follwing me...whats wrong with me and what should i do (link)

I used to have that problem. Try not to give yourself the opportunity to think about such things. For instance, try sleeping to music or a comedy as opposed to silence. There's nothing wrong with you.

okay when my hole sophomore year of highschool,i always talked to this 8th grader online..she seemd pretty nice n stuff and we got to be really close friends, but through the internet..she went to school like 5 mins away from my school and she was a friend of my (ex bfs) cousin who im REALLY close with..so yeah we alwaysss chatted online,we gave eachother advice, and told eachother everything...but remember this was ONLINE..i always told her that i would have her back when she comes to highschool, (because she was going to go to the same highschool as me the next yr)..so now im a junior and she is a freshman..and she goes to my school now..ive talked to her in person now, and she is the MOST ANNOYEST PERSON I KNOW. she tries to talk all ghetto, like she'll be like, WHUSSUP NIGGA and like oh shit wuss good giRlllll..and she tries and acts allll tough..she has like NO FRIENDS at all. she thinks i like love her and have her back, but really she is the most stupidest lil kid ive ever met..i never knew she was like this because be4 we usta chat only online so i never really really really knew how she was..i dunno how to like stop talking to her because she is some1 that i kNOW that i wouldnt like if i randomly met her at school one day without us talkin on line for that hole time be4..plzz help!! That made me laugh out loud. That's pretty damn funny. Whussup nigga? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Sorry, I know someone exactly like that. He used to be really quiet, and somehow in the span of one year he completely changed his attitude and became very annoying. I used to hang out with this kid and talk to him all the time, but now we're just acquaintances that say hi to each other at school. Every once in a while we'll bring up future plans or something like that, but rarely does a conversation last longer than a minute. I can't stand his gangsta vernacular. If you don't already, you could try to keep conversations short with short answers or comments. Try dodging her when you can. You probably do this already. You don't see her very often, do you? It shouldn't be too hard to phase her out. And if she persists to talk to you to the point where you can't take it, you could try to just her how annoying she is. It might seem cruel, but it is the truth. And if she's this annoying, then maybe she deserves the truth.

I agree, in large part, with Farren. You need to first look at how this would affect everyone in your life. Think hard about the stability of your marriage, and whether or not you think you can be happy in your possition for the rest of your life. If you, in any way, think that it will end eventually, then end it now. A baby boy will be much less affected by this as opposed to an adolescent (My parents got a divorce when I was a year and a half old, and unlike children who have adapted to living with both parents, I was unaffected). Keep in mind most marriages end in divorce, especially when the marriage commences at such a young age. Based on what you're saying, I think you should go for it. But end all things with your husband first.
