I am 14 and a female, ok, see I used to be friends with this girl Cydney in 8th grade. In the winter I invited here to a retreat for our youth group trip and she seemed fine about it, then when we get in the car she starts hanging out with this snotty girl lisa who told everybody i like girls which is NOT TRUE. And then we were on the subject about what things we liked to about each other and I asked her what she like about me and she goes well there alot of things i dont like about you. I cant help it if Im shy. My mom was shy when she was my age and still had decent friends. Thats not all we started giving her rides to school and she talks to me around my mom, but she doesnt talk to me at school. I havent done anything to her. She turned gothic too. You have to make it work. Don't count on her to initiate conversation if she says she will be shy. If you liked her enough to ask her on a date - you should at least know her well enough to find something to talk to her about. If you can't... Then the relationship will definitely fail. Just talk about something she likes.

I hear that if you lock yourself in a sauna while wearing a jogging suit you can make your period come within about 24-48 hours.

It doesn't have to rhyme. Good lyrics are good lyrics, even if they don't rhyme.
Of course, if you are writing rap music. Just change the last word in every sentence to end in "igga" and listen to a police scanner for inspiration.

Okay I'm extremely confused. I'm a freshman in school and I have recently come to terms that I am gay and by the way I'm a guy. I have a friend who is a guy also and he comes over all the time. I am extremely attracted to him and I don't know what to do. I want to tell him how I feel but there is never the right time and I'm afraid if I do and he's not gay, he'll tell everybody about me. I have a pretty good feeling that he may be gay too but I'm never entirely sure. He has made comments before that if we were both women he would totally kiss me and he has made other moves on me as well but I think he may be waiting for me to make the first move. I feel that if I do, he may freak out. I've smoked with him a lot (not legal stuff lol) and all he does is say how he really likes me and he gets cuddley. How can I determine if he likes me and how can I start a relationship with him without completely ruining my life. Please respond immediately and keep in mind that I REALLY like this guy. Thanks! You aren't ready, don't do it at all. Since other people are saying the age "13" im assuming thats correct - judging from the rest of what you were saying i'd guess that would be correct by that as well.
Nonetheless - you seem young. Sex is an act used for reproduction, if you want to have a child, have sex. If you don't want to have a child - don't have sex. Its not like a cabbage patch kid, it takes a lot more responsability and you can get in quite serious trouble if you have sex (reguardless of whether you consent or not - its considered rape if you are under 18)
While at your age I recommend you don't have any form of sexual contact at all (kissing and the things im talking about are in two different ballparks) if you actually want to do something I suggest mutual masturbation (and if you don't know what masturbation is - you should not even be considering having any form of sexual contact. Even mutual masturbation)

Hes probably a bit confused, you're best just to play it by ear. I do the same thing with a girl I know, even though I know shes in a relationship with someone else, im not trying to get in her pants or anything, im just trying to be friendly and make things entertaining. While I do like her and I wish to pursue a bit more of a relationship I don't dare even try when shes in a relationship with someone else. Just continue doing what you have been doing, let him make the choices because the balls in his court.

Well, you wont be ridiculed by religious fanatics. You will be "pure" so your mother in law wont want to cut your throat when she finds out. And you won't have to do a lot of explaining further down the line, about either "all the people you slept with" or "oh, haha, funny story, I got this child in high school, yeah i'd say about a year after the other one."

Ok i had a boyfriend..but we never talked one bit..sometimes online but not a very lightening conversation. So i dumped him on feild day. Then he says he has a different girl friend on that same day. He wont tell people who..but i still kind of liked him. The only real reason i dumped him is because we didnt talk..and it was weird when we did. Do you think i made the right choice? Should i just give up on him and fall for another?

You obviously had little basis for a relationship and you should seek something more on a mental level than a physical level. It sounds like you actually want to talk to the person you are in a relationship and that puts you far ahead most other people in todays society. Its a shame that more don't appreciate that, but you will find someone who does. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and not every one is a prime catch.

I'm 17, getting somewhat close to 18, and i know ill be sexually active by the end of this year. For those who are my age or close - do your parents expect you to not do anything? I know if you're like 15, and your parents find out you're sexually active..and they have the right to ground you or tell you not to see him, etc. Do you think once we turn 18, it's more of our decision/freedom that are parents just ACCEPT? Or are there parents out there who try to control that and dont approve their 18 year old doing that (even though they are considered an adult)? Any opinions on this topic would be appreciated. Im just getting an idea of how parents react to this once you turn 18. (link)

Honestly it depends on your parents, by the time you are 18 it can go either way. If you tell them that you are sexually active, then it can go one of two ways - They may take it just fine, and not seem to have any problem with it at all, realizing that you are growing up. Or, they may not like it at all, and forbid you to continue (which most people will tell you `no, they can't do that, you're an adult` but they may be able to kick you out of the house or something similar). You know your parents better than any of us, so you will have to make the decision on that one, honestly, I wouldn't be upfront with my parents about something like that, I may talk about it a little if it were to come up. But I would never have a conversation like
"Oh hello, what did you do today?"
"Had sexual intercourse in the back of such-and-such's car in the walmart parking lot. It was good, but you know, not THAT good"
If it were to come up (I don't think I could come up with a scenario off the top of my head) I would probably just give a little bit of information. If you are concerned, it may be better off to wait.

My friend *Chrissy* and has been lying to her parents about her boyfriend *Jack*. See Chrissy is 12 and gonna be 13 in December. So when i was at Chrissy's house she told her cousin that she had a boyfriend and they were making out. Chrissy trusted her cousin so she didnt feel like her cousin was gonna tell. Of course her cousin told her parents and her parents had a fit, not because she was seeing someone, but because she's been making out with Jack. So they told her to stop kissing or she cant go out with Jack. I just recently talked to Chrissy and she said that she's gonna complain to her shrink about it cause kissing is a normal thing in life, it's just her parents think she's too young to date. She's fed up on being called little and young so she has been lying to her parents and making out with Jack all she wants. Should i stop Chrissy? or should i encourage Chrissy to tell her shrink to tell her parents that she needs to learn her own lessons in life? But the hard part is Chrissy wont listen if people tell her no in this situation cause she REALLY loves Jack- nothing could keep them apart. What should i do for Chrissy?! help!!

You may just be feeling that because hes leaving and you feel you are losing the relationship therefore the significance of the last moments arises, its probably not love, and since hes moving anyway. It may be best not to say a word.

Hey ya'll! I'm a 16/f and I have a question about bathingsuits...I'm pretty tan- but from tennis so i have sock lines and shorts lines. I'm fine with my stomach when it comes to bathing suits but not so much with my thighs. I'm 127 and athletic but my thighs aren't as small as I would want them to be(5/6 AE jeans..) and the short lines don't help. So my question is should i still get a regular bikini? I've tried shorts but most are to big around the waist and don't fit awesome- even after my mom makes the waist smaller. So should i get a regular bikini bottom? If not, should i just work on getting shorts or is there another option? Thanks! (link)
