First girlfriend
I asked a girl out online on Friday, she said yes.
But there is one problem, i will be very shy to speak to her on the first few days, and so will she - or so she says... so i feel this relationship wont work unless we communicate , but how if we're both quite shy?
Im 13, so is she.

You have to make it work. Don't count on her to initiate conversation if she says she will be shy. If you liked her enough to ask her on a date - you should at least know her well enough to find something to talk to her about. If you can't... Then the relationship will definitely fail. Just talk about something she likes.
