well at american eagle and stores like that sell the sweaters that go off the shoulders, those are cute, and you can wear a pair of jeans with the dangling belt on the side. a nice necklace will do. hope those sound good! x0

whenever i sleep, i wake up the next morning and my hair is really greasy. Is there anyway to prevent this without taking a shower that morning because i dont have enough time. any adivce would be greatly appreciated.

i really dont know, i just know that it happens to me whenever i dont shower for a day, then my hair gets greasy, try using a different shampoo thats sopossed to be used to give your hair that look that you want. pantene has a great variety of them! x0

I'm a moderately happy person. I'm in love, I have really supportive friends, and I have great artistic outlets for my emotions, but for some reason I keep having these reoccurring thoughts of suicide. Every time I sit by my window I think of diving headfirst into the driveway three stories below. I don't know what to think of it. Is this normal? (link)

oh yea its def normal, i'm the same way, i'm pretty much a very outgoing person and i mostly have fun like all the time! but sometimes i think about it too, dont worry its normal. i'm pretty sure that everyone has thought about it and if they say they dont, they lie, cuz everyone wonders about death and what if they died now?. am i right or what? but its normal. x0

Me and my ex-boyfriend broke up...well, about a month or two ago. But lately, I can't get him out of my mind (I haven't been able to since the break-up), and I asked my friends if they thought he still liked me, they said yes that he talks about me a lot and what we did when we were together. The only reason we broke up is because we were bored with each other, but I think now we realized what a great relationship it was. He looks at me a lot and I look at him (right in the eyes), we talk a lot and we're pretty good friends still, I want to ask him out so badly but I'm scared to. you should def ask him back out, and to his face, thru friends and online is kinda sketchy, its better to ask him out to his face to see his reations and stuff like that. i hope you guys do go back out, seems to me that you both really like eachother.. still! x0

Ok..I went out with this boy who is 2 years younger than me for 6 months. I totally fell in love with him and we did a lot of stuff together but we didn't have sex. We were planning on it but it just never happened. Neways. I was soo in love with him and planning spending a lot more time with him when all of a sudden he wanted to take a break..we did for like a week and then he started saying some really mean stuff to me so i just ended it. Was that the right thing to do? And then like a week later he ended up giving his sweatshirt to a girl who use to be my best friend. 2 weeks later they started dating. and now i'm hearing stuff that he told people he likes me a lot still and is mad because of stuff. but when asked about it..he denies it and says mean stuff about me to his gf. what is going on here? i still like him...does he still like me? Ok, well, right now, i'm in 7th grade. Well, a couple of weeks ago, i got bored and well, i fingered myself...i kno pretty desprit, eh? I don't eat. Is that retarded? No. It's not. I'm happy all of the time at school, and then I'm sad and "depressed" at home. I get mad at my parents a lot, I don't smile. At school, I'm happy all the time, people tell me I laugh a lot, and then i just smile all the time. I'm really sensitive: ex) I once saw a homeless man in front of the subway station. I gave him 5 bucks, and he said happy holidays. I turned around and said happy holdidays to you too. then i went into the subway station, saw one of my friends, and started crying into his shoulders. After like, 6 stops, I stopped, and he asked me what was the matter, and I told him everything. Then I said i was sad cause the guy WASN'T going to have a happy holiday. The next day, i went back with my friend and he held my hand and everything, and we gave the homeless man 10 dollars with a post it attached that gave him the address of a nearby soup kitchen. He said bless you. And then I started crying all over again. How messed up am I? (link)

no your not messed up, it just shows you how much you care about someone and man, if that guy knew that you were crying because of him, i bet he would feel so much happier because someone thought of him and CARED about him =) you did a very good thing about giving him 15 dollars altogether. your a good kid, and your not messed up your perfectly fine, i'm the same way (home = not happy, school = having a really good time) this doesn't mean theres something wrong with you!. x0

Okay, well, I'm 13, and two days ago I went to the bathroom and saw some blood in my...well, underwear...and I didn't talk to my mom about it I just waited to see what happened in a little while after I changed. The next day I didn't get any more blood, I just got big amounts of discharge, and this has never ever happened to me before. My face also broke out, and I was craving chocolate and I was really tired. Does this mean I'm going to get my period soon? (link)

well... its probably still healing and you might have took it out too soon.. or you bought a ring that had something on it that made your bellie get infected, or you could be allergic to the peice of metal or the jewlery... keep cleaning it, and change the ring, if it still is infected by 2 weeks of cleaning it out with antibacterial soap then go to the doctors. hope ived helped! x0

im moving to south carolina in 5 months. im 15 my boyfriend is 16 and we been together for 10 months. we love each other...hez been to jail for 4 months though and i met this boy and we started chillin and had se n everythin n i fell in love with him. but my ma made me crush my feelings for that guy because she didn`t trust him. i loved him. then when my boyfriend got out, i forgot about the other guy. that`s not the point. i wuznt in love with my boyfriend while i wuhz cheating with him. All of the sudden, he started crying and was like "I have to ask you a question!" i kept asking him-"ok what? tell me" but he didn`t because he was 'scared i wouldnt tell the truth'. Then i hung up with him and he called back like-i need to talk to you. when i asked him if it wuz bad he said "yes" and then i asked if he was gonna break up with me. he hung up. i don`t wanna break up with him. well if your in love with this BOiiiiiiii i dont think you should have cheated on him hunie, thats not right at all. i dont think he wants a girlfriend who cheats on him and i dont think you would be too happy if you found out that he cheated on you, so put yourself in his shoes for once... even tho i know 4 months is a while but if its love its not long at all! apparently you need all that you can get, sry hun, but seems to me that he knows about you and dont deny it once he says what he wants.. x0

Hey everyone. I have my own column, but I can't answer my own question. I met a guy online back in May or around that time. We didn't talk much until now, and we've gotten soooo much closer. We both think we're soulmates and meant for each other. Even though I haven't met him, I feel this connection, and it's really cool. I just don't know what to think though, because I hear all those stories on the news and everything, and it really scares me. What if he's a rapist or a serial killer or something?! I really don't think he is, because of some of the conversations we've have, but there's always that chance. I just want to know you're opinions on this, and what I should do about it. a lil young for the online chatting to strangers.. yea i would be a little bit scared, cuz all of those news specials on the tv about meeting people from online chats are bad, but to find out a way if hes really 16 is that he could send you pictures, but anyone could have the same one cuz they;ll just take them from other people.. web cams are live pictures sent thru so when your talking to him you can actually see him and him typing so that you know for sure its him. hm.. thats pertty much the only way that i would think of knowing the truth =/ unless you meet him.. but idk, hopefuly hes not lying or anything and in the future if you guys do meet up good luck! x0

its good to bring coloring books, a movie, order some food or make something, popcorn, even a game (i dont know how old your babysitting but its just some ideas) .. those things should keep them busy i think! x0

well my parents always fought too, until they decided to get a divorice, and even today they still fight after 3 years of divorice.. i think the only reason they wont get a divorice is because of you, they dont want to hurt you. my parents waited for a while for me to get older and understand they cant be together no longer.. dont get upset at them, if you dont want to hear them talk to them and tell them to stop but dont yell back at them, or just simply go to your friends house for a lil while.. but hopefully they'll work things out.. x0

My sister has had a pretty tough year, and I think she's finding the festive season a bit overwhelming. She hasn't wanted to get involved with any of the usual things she enjoys this time of year, like decorating the house with lights. I'm nervous that tomorrow on Christmas Day, she'll be really down. i have a boyfriend who i love VERY much. we (his name is corey) went out for 4 months and then we broke up. when we broke up he went out with my best friend and then they broke up. then he went out with my other best friend to try to get over me and things led to other things.... she was moving really fast and he didnt want to get made fun of so he just went along with everything. well she gave him a blowjob. he broke up with her right after because he found out i still liked him. he regretted the whole thing. i was have a really tough time dealing with everything. then i went off to highschool before him *hes a year younger than me* and i got a new boyfriend. i went out with him for 7 and a half months but i didnt want to be with him. we were kinda off and on for a long time. things happened between me and him that i didnt want to happen, but i didnt know how to say no. i never did anythng to him... he did things to me sexually. and then i finally got the courage to break up with him. all my self esteem was gone by now, as u could probably imagine. i still liked corey a LOT and so we started talking again and we got back together. weve been together for over 3 months and i keep thinking about what happened between him and my ex-best friend. i just cant seem to get past it. he regrets ever doing it and he knows how bad it hurt me. we have talked about it, we have cried about it. i just dont know what to do to get over the past. i keep picturing what happened. and corey cant get over it either, he gets upset about it all the time. how do we get over it and what do we do about it? thanks for any advice you can give me. I wear tinted moisturizer on my skin and nothing else.. except blush. But my question is, since I don't use any powder, would it be bad to use a powder blush? Or should I use a liquid blush.. (or w/e its called.) And does anyone have any reccomendations for fair skin? Like brands that I can buy at Target. Thanks!! (link)

i dont think it would be a bad idea to wear powder blush, it should work the same as the liquid stuff. well if you want powder foundation/blush, cover girl and maballine (?) sell pretty good stuff, and works really good.. and they also sell liquid blush too. Their not too expensive, i would guess around 6 dollars but not too sure.. x0

Hey people...Happy Holidays...hopefully you guys aren't having a confusing holiday like me lol. Well I am going out with this kid and he's a year older than me and let's just call him Kevin. Well Kevin told some of my friends that he liked me and they kind of made me go out with him. I didn't really know him and I still don't at the moment. So I really don't like him because I barely know the kid, I'm not good at learning to go out with him either. We've been going out for about a week now and it's just driving me crazy. He calls me all the time and is sooo clingy! He bought me a diamond promise ring for christmas and OMG he shouldn't have done it. Obviously I don't like him as much as he likes me. Well on New Years I want to go to my best friend's party (it's a guy) but the thing is they don't get along that well. I don't want to lead Kevin on either but I don't want to have to tell him I don't like him that much because I do NOT want to hurt him. I need to like break it off and I don't know what to say!!!!! Does anyone know what to say to him? Besides I don't like you or besides being mean to him.
