Q: On myspace, there are a selected few that seem to have their profiles hacked or something of the sort. It's obvious by the bullitens posted that they don't have control over what is being typed on their account. Should I delete them off my friends list to protect my account?
No, there's no worry that you'll get a hacker. One, tell these people they need to change their passwords. Two, to keep your account safe, make sure you always type in the address bar www.myspace.com yourself.

I think you guys should of course still stay together, but I think you guys also need a break. And I don't mean break-up, I just mean a break.

Q: Last year I got felt up by a guy I don't know. It really screwed me up.
I finally talked about it, and the whole dirty feeling is back.
I can't get myself feeling clean.
Is there any way to help this???
thanks,

I'm so sorry to hear what happened. My best bet would be is to find someone you can trust and just talk about it. Don't just avoid it, because then it will really start coming back. Do anything you can to get your feelings out-write, listen to music to help cope, anything. Good luck.

Q: can cutting yourself become an addiction?
Yes, it could. I have that addiction. Well, at least I did. I overcame it, with a lot og help and support, but that's beyond what your question is asking. But yes, it can become an addiction, even if it may not seem like it.

Q: earlier people on here were telling me that if you mix baking soda and water together then put it on your face is will dry up your pimples. Does this really work?
and someone also said putting alcohol on them will make them go away.

Baking soda and water worked once for me. After one time, it just stopped working. Trying alcohol, it dries out your skin a lot. But, my best friend uses it and it kills her every night to do it, because it stings so badly, but it dries them up. But every person who uses either one of these will have a different reaction.

Q: i have the enV from verizon wireless. my battery does not last long. i have to charge it at least once a day. is it because of the keyboard and the extra screen or what?? does anyone else have this problem?? i am a huge texter/talker. anything i can do about this?? do i have to keep buying batteries??
thanks!!

My dad had the same problem with his phone, although it was a different phone, but from Verizon Wireless. You could do it the hard way, and keep buying batteries, or always having it be on a charger, but the only thing that helped him is when he took his phone in. He took it to VW and they uploaded it with new software, which improved his battery length. So I also suggest doing that, and ask them about it [in general].

Q: I love singing. But i have a shyness of singing in front of people. I have before and people were shocked. I think im really talented at singing but it just the shyness that is a problem. How do i get over something like that?
Being shy is normal. I was when I first started singing. But, I overcame that obstacle when I auditioned for a part in a play. (Just an example)
STEP 1: Determine why you're shy in the first place. For example, are you scared of what someone might say about your physical appearance? Remember, there's an underlying reason for how you react in situations.
STEP 2: Act as if you're not shy. In private, behave as if you're oozing confidence. Hold your chin up, stick your chest out, add a swagger to your walk and speak firmly. It may seem ridiculous, but you will see results when you're out in public.
STEP 3: Practice making eye contact and smiling in your interactions with others. Strike up casual conversations with strangers about weather or current events.
STEP 4: Look your best. One way to improve self-consciousness is to always look good and limit ways you can be self-critical.
STEP 5: Lower your fear of rejection by imagining the worst possible outcome. If you approach someone, they may say "no" or they may just walk away. Absolutely everybody has been rejected at some point, but no one has to dwell on it.
STEP 6: Look and learn. Watching friends or even strangers who aren't shy is a good way to learn some tips first-hand.
STEP 7: Feel positive about yourself, don't get frustrated and have fun. Remember, the real goal is to find someone who will like you for who you are.

Q: Doesn't everyone tell you it's incredible stupid, dumb, and unhealthy to do drugs like weed and cocaine, etc? Then why on an ADVICE site does it have questions asking about drugs. No, not like educational things about them, like "Oh when i smoked weed I threw up, is this normal?". I was expecting every answer to be like "You shouldn't have smoked weed in this first place, these are drugs and they are unhealthy." But no the answers were more like encouraging the people to try it again and see what happens? What the heck? Is it ok to do drugs now?
My opinion is that you shouldn't do drugs. Does that mean other people HAVE to follow my say in any of it? Never. Now, like you, I agree that people shouldn't be encouraging drugs. But, some people are idiots (no offense). But, I agree with the person below me, we have to get good ratings. I wouldn't do it, because there are some gullible people on this site that would actually do something they shouldn't out of their own ignorance.

Q: when people write 'yew' is that like 'you' or is it like 'yoooohooooo!!'
sorry, but whats it mean?

Basically it means "you" on aim, or myspace, etc. It personally kind of annoys me, but hey, that's how some people like to say it.

Q: songs?
could you explain the songs candy shop & london bridge to me? and please, no links. Thank You.
Both songs are sexual. They have to do with sex. 50 Cent's "Candy Shop"-just listen to the words-or I should say, read the lyrics. Then you'll get the idea. You'll REALLY get it, especially if you have a 'sick mind'. Now, on the other hand, Fergie's "London Bridge", I can't really speak for her there. But, the whole picture is sexual.

Q: If a certain myspace layout removes the top links (home, search, browse, etc.), how do I get them back? Is there a code I can use?

I don't think there's a code. Just find the code you originally used and take if off your profile.

Q: Blink 182 made a Christmas CD. A few years ago.
Does anyone know what the title of the CD was or any of the songs on it?

I believe the album was called 'I won't be home for Christmas' and as far as I know, there's only like 4 songs on it. They are:
-I won't be home for Christmas
-Small Things
-Josie
-Please take me home
I hope I could help.

Dear Sick,
I highly advise you to ask him out. I mean, so you guys are a couple. He may be waiting for you to ask. If you don't do that soon, you guys will get bored with each other, and eventually will both move on.
Good Luck!

I think the purse is adorable. Personally, I love it. I still, to this day, love big purses, and when I was 12 I was carrying around purses bigger than that! I think it would be an absolutely lovely christmas present.

Heyyyy, I'm jess. I love to help other people, no matter what. I've been through enough bs to know when to just stop and walk away. I don't judge; feel free to ask me anything. I have quite the temper. But, what makes me a good advice-giver is that for the most part, I'm genuinely empathetic and willing to help.
(:
I've had a lot of experiences with piercings, bullying, family problems, and even sexual issues (no std's)- but with the emotional part of it. I love music, so I give good, basic advice about that, too. Also, I deal with severe anxiety and depression, and have been in treatment numerous times. On top of that, I have OCD (Obsessive Complulsive Disorder), and because I've been around people addicted to drugs, or cutting, I can help! Just give me the chance.
add me on myspace!
