I want to go on a picnic with my boyfriend this summer sometime. I thought he would really like it since he's working all of the time and we always do the same things over and over together. A picnic would be a big change, you know? :) Sort-of like a nice surprise as long as I can figure out how to do it all by myself!

what i would do if i were you is get some apples, bananas, strawberries and grapes, and some fruit juice. and maybe even those little cans of canned fruit. cut up the fruit, and put it all together. make a fruit salad as a side dish.
and then get some fried chicken legs, (made by yourself, or from KFC. either way, you cant go wrong with chicken on a picnic). and then some pudding and whipped topping for dessert.
(thats all for food)
now, for the picnic itself, bring a table cloth to sit on. and (if you're old enough) maybe some red wine. if you're not 21 yet, then just bring some sparkling grape juice.

Im 18/f almost 19. and my boyfriend is 22/m. I dont know why but lately i've really wanted to have a baby. I've talked to my boyfriend about it and he said he wants one to just not now. Maybe like in 2 years or so he suggested. We've been together for almost a year, and are really in love. Is it normal to want a baby this bad? I'm on birth control, and my boyfriend when we have sex he cums in me. I know birth control isnt 100% effective but is it normal to sometimes secretly wish you were part of that .1% that get pregnant? I know babies are alot of responsibility and money and such. what you have is called the "baby bug". i had it once when i was 15, and i even have it now. (im 16) but its reaaaaally hard to get pregnant from .1%. and yeah, its totally normal to want to have a child. someone who will love you unconditionally, someone you can love and take care of. and something that you can have a 9 month bond with, and it just makes you realize the miracle of life. something can actually grow inside of you! it all seems so fun. and after the first few weeks, it really is!
you're not too young to get pregnant. to me, 18 is the perfect age. your boyfriend wants to wait a few years? thats fine. hold him to it. men tend to "forget" the promises they make to women. maybe try to convince him to make it an earlier promise. i think why he doesnt want to have one now is because you guys are young. he wants to live out the last years of his young life. he wants to have fun. and he knows that when your pregnant, you cant have fun with him. just hold him to the "few years" thing, and it should eventually kick in that you're serious about this.

My hair is so oily that it's grossing me out. I have to wash it everyday no matter what. Any suggestions on how to minimize oil in the scalp so I don't have to be frantic over washing it all of the time? My hair is thin and oily so it's very noticeable! (link)

well, theres a certain shampoo you can buy that dries your hair, and it has a matching conditioner so it minimizes oil, but it also keeps it moisterized(sp).
also, theres this spray you can spray in your hair. you spray it at the roots, and then rub it around a little. it dries the roots a bit. people usually take it with them when they're camping and such. i think you can find it at any gas station. sorry, i dont know what its called. but it should be at any drugstore. just ask around, they'll know what you're talking about.

Hey I'm 13/F and I love soccer, I really do, it is a passion of mine. But see I never really got to choose soccer. My family kind of chose it for me. I am the youngest of four and all of my siblings have been on the soccer team in highschool and I want to be too. But 37 freshman are trying out... That's just the freshman. I'm kind of close to the coach and hes kind of the one who encouraged to try out but I'm still really stressed and scared. I know I'm good enough and I love soccer but that's so many girls!! My chances aren't great. And I dont even know if soccer is the sport for me but I've never been able to try any others and its too late now. Help me please! (link)

no, i never have. but some people "kiss through the phone". or maybe she was kissing her cat ^.^ unless she actually said she was acting like you were there, which IS normal. some people even go as far to have "phone sex" which is basically doing that, but going to greater lengths.
dont worry, nothings wrong with her, shes just being cute. next time why dont you try kissing her through the reciever, too? it'll make her feel good.

you cant determine how a person acts in sex after they just swiped their v-card. if everyone did that, we would all assume sex sucks and we wouldnt do it. but we keep trying and getting better at it. you guys seem young, he sounds young, just try it a few more times. you'll both get used to it and soon he'll be taking you across the universe. :) just remember to use protection.

I'm not going to bore with details. Over half a decade ago, I met my first love, who after barely a year, tore my heart out and broke my confidence in myself. I attempted to repair the bond to at least be friends, with horrible results.
I thought I was past it all, but recent I ended up seeing her again, and it reopened the old wounds. More than half a decade since it happened, and I'm still hurt when I am either reminded of the past, or placed in a situation where I re-encounter her.
I'm starting to worry that I'm not well in the mind. I mean, I should be over it. And yet, this scar on my heart keeps getting ripped open at the slightest chance involving anything that reminds me of the past. Why can't I stop feeling hurt by this? (link)

you cant stop being hurt by it because you're HURT. when something happens and the ones we love no longer love us, it hurts. that love never really disappears, but it is supressed. and then when we run into them at a bar or in the store, the old wounds are reopened. it doesnt mean your sick in the mind, it just means your hurt by seeing her, and thats all there is to it.
i recommend going to see a theropist maybe once a week. they can help, and determine whether you are really sick. they also give you great ideas for moving on from this experience.

I do drugs, they make me happy. I've tried quitting, it doesn't work. My mom found out. She wants me to go to drug rehab. She thinks I have a problem, which I do. But that doesn't mean I want to quit? I think they're pretty fun. I do them when I'm in a bad mood; sad, angry, depressed, jealous, all that. Which just happens to be about everyday. Should I go? or should I just pretend that I'm quitting on my own? It's not like they're ruining my life. I still go to school and get decent grades.

you should go to rehab. when you get older and will want a job, they wont hire you and you'll eventually hit rock bottom. my uncle spent his teenage years on drugs and never got off of them. he never went to rehab, and spent 4 years in jail due to making/selling/taking illegal drugs. my friends brother never went to rehab for his drug problem either. he is 29 and he, his wife, and his 9 year old daughter still live in his parents house. no matter what you do or how you take it, if you dont get off drugs, you WILL hit rock bottom. go to rehab. it'll help a lot. and im glad you can admit you have a problem. thats the first step.

the first few years are the hardest. every mom thinks these things. im so sorry you were raped, and i cheer for your choice to not kill the child.
it isn't too late to give him up for adoption, though. you could have an open adoption, where you go and visit him a lot and talk to the family and they send pictures and mail and stuff.
like i said, its still not too late for that, and in all honesty, he probably wont remember his first 2 years anyway. an open adoption is your best choice. your too young to have to go through motherhood, and there are too many things you could miss out on.

Hey. I was always the girl who said, you can't fall in love as a teenager. I was against it, and even hated people who claimed they were.
The summer before 8th grade, I started talking to this guy, we'll call him "Bob". We innocently flirted, nothing much. In about septemer, still of 8th grade year, he started going out with his girlfriend, (we'll call her "Becky"). I wasn't too upset, I mean, him and I didn't even get serious. Then about two months later, he tried talking to me, more then a friend. I kept telling him to stop. More months passed, he still had his girlfriend. They'd been going out for about 8 months, i still tried to tell him no. Then about mid year of 8th grade, I starting flirting back. (Bob and Becky had sex a few times over this time period, crushed me, cause I starting liking him ALOT.) Then we just kept our relationship flirting over texting. Now i'm in 9th grade..and ever since december we've been REALLY serious, like we're in love, and we said we were in love before we ever hung out. (Is this possible?) He was about to leave her for me. So around mid March, "Becky" found out we'd been talking for more then half of their relationship. My life was at stake. She was PISSED, and of course I felt very guilty. But we only emotionally cheated, not saying it's right, but it's better then physical. So when she found out, she left him. He told me, baby now it's just me and you FOREVER. about a month later, he wasn't really texting me anymore. and i asked why..and he told me he was back with "Becky". MY heart broke. It was the worst feeling ever. Couldn't breathe. Didn't care if I didn't take another breath again. And when he finally told me, they'd been going out for 5 days already, why wait that long to tell a girl you "love"? So for the next two days we didn't talk. Which was so hard, because I usually talk to him from 6 a.m., til 10:30 p.m. ALL DAY EVERYDAY. no breaks. so my routine was gone. I HATED HIM. (yet still loved him..) The third day, I begged for him bag, even if he stayed with Becky. I needed him in my life. Even if I had to lower my worth, and standards, to be with someone who didn't love me enough to be with just me. Two weeks later, BECKY CHEATED ON BOB WITH HIS BEST FRIEND, (hypocrite much?) and she accused him of cheating with a Vanessa girl, and left him. This was in mid April. So since then it's been me and him. At first we never walked down the halls, cause Becky's friends harassed me. AND I HATED BEING HATED, so i have to be in love, why else would I go through all this trouble, right?? So for the last two weeks, we said hell with it, and went public! He meets me at my locker, kisses me in front of everyone, and tell people he loves me. And I feel the same. But somtimes, my feelings go crazy and one minute i love him, the next I don't feel any thing anymore. It's nothing he does..it's just my mind..is there a way I can stop that?? And last night, we went to my best friend's party, and it was our first party together, and it was amazing. he held me all night long, and when we dropped him off at his house, I started crying hysterically, cause I wont see him for two days. We were hugging, and he's like "bye wife, i love you." and "isaid i love you too," and tears started pouring down. And ever since last night, I know for sure I'm in love. and if you two end, it wasn't all for nothing. you still have great memories and can just remember everything that happened, and be happy that it happened. as my friend used to tell me, live in the moment. dont fret over what MIGHT happen, just be happy that what you want to happen is happening in the first place.
and dont be upset when you're apart. that might scare him a little, and he may think your obsessed with him and start to disappear. and when he does, it'll hurt all the more.
so like i said, just be happy that hes with you now. dont worry over the future, focus on the present. and ignore becky. shes a bitch. and i'll bet she feels the same way you did when he left you for her. thats why she gets her friends to bully you. ignore them, and just be happy with your man!

you probably just like the feeling it gives you. you dont need to be depressed to smoke it. i know plenty of people who smoke it just to smoke it. its not THAT bad, and its not addicting. but its still kind of bad for your lungs. your breathing in something that isn't oxygen, and that could potentially harm you.

your not supposed to feel anything when inserting it, or removing it. are you sure you put it in far enough, or at the right angle?
look at the directions carefully on the box, and do exactly what it says. using a tampon isn't rocket science, but it is difficult the first few times, for every girl. :)
pads are nice, too. and a lot less to worry about.

this is my thought here, im going to give you my full out opinion: the only reason i get up in the morning and try in life is because i dont want to disappoint my parents. and because, according to my religious belief, if i kill myself, i go to hell. otherwise, i wouldnt be here answering this.

some guys are just asses. and almost all of teenage boys act differently around their friends. since girls mature a lot faster and earlier than boys, we think they act immature all the time. and really, they do!
you cant really do anything about it except talk to him. you guys should have a level of understanding and communication. if he is a jerk to you, theres no question about it: dump his ass. how can you be totally sure he cares about you if he acts like he doesnt?
the thing of it is, guys act like complete asses until they are out of college, mostly. some of them even act out and immaturely through they're adult years. the ones that settle down with a family usually know the time for jokes and cussing and beer and parties is OVER. some guys never come to learn this and act out in front of their children, making their kids act like asses to their girlfriends when they're older.
