I have this boyfriend, he's a great guy and everything but hes REALLY shy. He hasn't held my hand or anything. I know he likes me a lot and I also like him a lot. His shyness is hard to deal with because I am completely opposite. All of his friends have told him that he needs to be less shy and I told him there is no reason to be shy around me because I'm not going to get mad at him or anything but he is still shy! Alright, I'm a 13 year old female, in the 8th grade. There's this guy I really like... he's smart, gets way good grades (like the only guy I've liked who gets better grades, haha) athletic, nice, popular. I could go on, but let me get to the point. I've liked him for about 2 months now, and I keep thinking he likes me. I've heard 2 people say he does. So a few days ago, lots of my friends found out, since we were playing truth or dare, and everyone was like "Aww, how sweet you like so-and-so." And most of them seemed to think that he likes me too, but I'm not really sure anymore. Today at school one of my friends who found out totally wanted to tell him I liked him, and then I saw her go over and talk to him... She said that she had asked if he liked me, and he said yes. I was like, in a sarcastic way, right? But she said no that he was serious. I find that hard to believe though. So then she said he should ask me out and he's like, why, so I can face rejection again? And my friend was all, well maybe. Ugh I was sorta mad cuz she pretty much made it obvious I like him. I'm just wondering what I should do.. should I tell him I like him or what?!! I'm just worried that if I do he won't like me back and then things will be weird between us. And if he does like me, and we decide to go out.. well that worries me a little bit too because I heard that he's sort of perverted, he just doesn't show it as much as other guys. And the only thing I've ever done is hug guys. I'm willing to go as far as kissing/making out but I think my parents would freak if they found out. Arrgh.. please help! Sorry it's so long. (link)

This is a double question so apologies if it's long. There's a guy on my tennis team that i've been friends with since freshman year (i'm a sophomore) and lately I think he likes me. At a tournament, for example, one day he carried my bag for me, saved me a seat on the bus? *yeah it was wierd*, and had his arm around me for only like half a minute, my friends on the team say he likes me but does he? And if he does I don't really like him much in that way. If he does what do i do? (link)

i think he definitly likes u. theres no question there but if u dont wanna go out wit him or anythin then for now dont do anything but if he asks u out then u need to tell him u only want to b his friend and nothing more. hope i helped

u need to get sum help if u have tht much anger, u could hurt someone and u dont want tht. i know it rlly doesnt help to punch a punching bag or pillow so i would suggest throwing something tht can break but wont cause like glass all over the place like get a candy bar and throw it at something, maybe it will break and u'll feel better (it works 4 me) if u still wanna hurt one of ur friends then u need more serious help than this advice website. hope i helped ~stef~

ok, i have this guy that i really like, and i think he likes me. im not sure though. When i first met him, he didnt say much, but as i got to know him, he was really sweet. But then he just stopped talking to me. He would totally ignore me! And then he woould walk up to me and start talkting to me again a few days later. It has been going off and on like that for weeks, and then last week he started talking to me again. So i thought that maybe he was angry at me for something i unintetionally did. but through the whole time, i was super crushing on him. When he started talking to me again, i had just got a camera phone and went to take a pic of a friend. he wanted me to take a pic of him, and i was so happy! and then today, he told me that he got a new digital camera. he was all sweet and was like can i take a couple of pictures of you tommorrow? please? and of course, i said yes. But what the heck- why was he ignoring me? dies he like me? if not why does he want a pic of me? he said he wanted to put it on his webpage. but he didnt say it to anyone else, just to me. ok, well, i was babysitting the other night for these people and they were each going off to do their own thing. well, the mom left first, and the dad was supposedly leaving pretty quickly after, but instead he hung around for awhile. i was like, ok, um..why am i here if youre gonna sit around? well, i soon found out. he wasnt going anywhere. he put his kids in thier bedroom while i was cleaning something up, and he came up behind me and started grabbing me. he told me that if i yelled, hed kill me. well, i punched him where the sun dont shine and he let me go, but im sure that if i hadnt got away, he would have attacked me. but now i dont know what to do. he didnt rape me or anything, so should i really tell someone about it? all he did was grab me. they cant put you in jail for that, can they? im just wondering what i need to do about him....im supposed to go babysit again next week, and i cant exactly tell her why i dont wanna do it..so...HELP PLEASE (link)

right now isnt the best time bc of haloween and all the candy but if u wanna try to lose weight then i would suggest to cut back on the snacks and try to eat healthy foods. also if u run around a soccer field 3 times per day then u will notice ull start to lose wait a little bit at a time. hope i helped ~stef~

ok here is the thing my parents have been divorced for 8 years now and my dad got remarried like 2 years ago and i am fine wit that bcuz i like his wife. But now my mom has started datin this guy that is 18 years younger then her and i don't like him like at all and what makes me really mad is that my family is straped for money and there r some things i NEED and my mom goes and buys the guy random expensive gift just bcuz he likes it. And she drives 2 hours back and forth 2 pick him up just 2 spend the night wit him and "talk" (he doesn't have a car right now) and that is wastin alot of our money in gas. just how can i tell my mom how i feel and isn't that ur parents should have u kids approve of the person 2 cuz if ur kids don't like them then how will that work. someone help what can i do, say or nething? sometime i just wanna runaway cuz she pisses me off sooo much HELP!!!! I've liked this one guy, Bob, for a while now. And he said he likes me and all, but he also likes a couple other girls. well the first time i french kissed a guy he didnt know i never had kissed anyone (french) b4 so i was really worried that i would be horrible and he would be mad at me but then when i was talking to one of my friends she said he had told her that i was a great kisser. we broke up b/c this girl told him all this stuff that wasnt true about me so were not together anymore but he still doesnt know he was my first french kiss. so dont be worried especially b/c uve kissed guys b4. just act relaxed and dont worry everything will be ok !! :) ~steph~
