Has anyone on here ever re-dated a guy and had a successful relationship? I want to know if a second try is always disasterous.

I personally have not, but I know a few people that have. Every relationship is different. Is it possible to have a really good relationship with an ex?? Yes. Is it possible to have an extremely disasterous relationship with an ex?? Yes. There's the saying that goes "they're your ex for a reason" but I don't necesarily believe in that. Sometimes relationships just don't work out & sometimes when you re-try it, they do. I think second chances are fine. It's when it becomes third or even forth chances, that's when it's really bad. If you feel that he is worth the second chance, go for it. Everyone is human & we all make mistakes. If it's worse or just not what you expected, then you probably should stop trying to date him.

Does anyone have a recipe for icing to put on sugar cookies (I'm using cookie cutters) that will harden so it doesn't lose it's shape? Also, I would like to have multiple colors so if there is no way for me to make different icing colors I can't use it. Thanks.

Nintendo Wii's are extremely popular & are soldout in most stores. Your best option would be checking it out at the Nintendo website.

Hi, I've had my invisalign in since wednesday, the second day i had them I really felt the pressure and it kinda hurt. Obviously normal, but now I don't feel any presure unless i push against my teeth, then I feel the soreness, is this normal. Also the first time I had it in it wouldnt clip in to one of my mollers properly now it does but it is still kind of easy to remove it from the back i just need to use my tongue and the back pops out. Is this normal or should it be tighter and should I feel more pressure? These arent cheap and I want to make sure I get my moneys worth. Thank You

It probably is normal to have a little soreness since it's something new & you probably aren't used to something like that being in your mouth. I haven't had them myself, but I know a few people that have. They haven't had any problems with them. I would suggest talking to a doctor about it. It's common to feel a bit uncomfortable with them at first & it takes time to get used to it. If it persists however, that's when you should talk to a professional about it. After a few days it should be better. I don't think it should pop out easily but it should not be too tight & there shouldn't be too much pressure. Here's a website-

I wouldn't say they're bad exactly, but I don't think theyre good or healthy for you either. Pills like that are most likely always marketing scams. I would suggest talking to your family doctor about it before trying anything. Even though you can buy it over the counter, pills can be dangerous & you don't want to take anything that can affect your health in the future. After talking to your doctor, you can figure out your possible options & if you want to take them or not.

I will, firstly, say that I'm not a procrastinator. I do my work and give it in when it's due, and I don't waste time on the computer.
I'm a sophomore/15 years old/female. I have NO social life whatsoever.
Instead of enjoying my weekends, I do homework NONSTOP for 3 days! (since Friday!) WTF!?
I'm in all honors classes and I have one A.P Class. But this is just WAY TOO MUCH WORK! I can't handle it. Everyday, I have to either study for something or do pages upon pages of fucking homework! I don't know what to do. Surely every teenager in America doesn't waste their weekends studying.
What can I do? I'm the type of person that HAS to finish EVERYTHING and will have severe anxiety attacks if something isn't done. My friends don't put half as much of effort in as I do and they still get good grades. What can I do? Please help :( My life is ruined

You have to balance it out. Believe it or not, so many people have the same problem as you. Some just handle it a lot better than others. You have to get done as much work as you possibly can. Start early if possible. If you know a test is coming up even if it's in a week or there's a project you can complete ahead of time, do it to get it out've the way. I'm not saying you don't do this, but if you keep doing it it will make things easier. A social life is important, especially for a teenager. Unfortunately, school is important also. You are trying to get an education to prepare you for the future. A positive thing about all this work is that it will prepare you for college & work later on. A career is not much easier & you'll be having to do work for much longer & it'll be more important most likely. You should try talking to family, friends, a guidance counsler, or even your teachers. They can all help you & give you advice. Just hang in there & stay focused. Christmas break is coming up so you should have a few days to just relax. You could also get a lot of work done while still having fun with your family & friends. As long as you're dedicated to your work, your grades should be fine.

i've been with my boyfriend for just over a year now, but he lives far away. recently, i discoverd that there is another boy that likes me and i sort of like him too. he kissed me the other day and now i'm really confused. any suggestions?

Talk to your boyfriend & explain your feelings & what happened. Rough I know, but you should really try it. It's disrespectful to your boyfriend to have feelings for another guy, especially if you kissed him. I'm not blaming you, long distance relationships are difficult, but if you're going to be in a relationship with someone you have to treat them with respect & stay faithful no matter what. It's very common to develop feelings for another guy, so don't worry. You just have to be honest with him & sort your feelings out. Obviously it would be mean to be dating two guys. Also, make sure that any relationship you have with the guy you kissed is worth it. If he doesn't see you as a gf or just wanted to hook up with you & you break up with your bf, you might be extremely disappointed because nothing worked out in either situation. Talk to both of them & explain your feelings. You'll probably feel less guilty if you do. Being confused is normal though.

There are unlocked phones that you can buy online, but I wouldn't suggest doing that. Sidekicks are for T-Mobile only. There are certain policys about unlocked phones. Most phone companies frown upon using them. If you want information on it, you can google it.

There are phones similar to the Sidekick that Cingular has. It isn't the same thing, but they have similar features. You should talk to an employee about it.

so today at school i had food poisoning where it came out the rear instead of the mouth. it was the most humiliating moment of my life, and although i don’t think anyone saw, some people know and have sent emails to me in which i have not responded to. i don’t know how i can go through the rest of high school like this. do you recommend any ways in which i can avoid maximum embarrassment at all costs? thanks.

Stuff like that happens to everyone. You have to just deal with it & be mature about the situation. Your human, it's a part of life. They're being completely ridiculous & immature for sending emails. Are you kidding?! They need to grow up seriously. If people are really giving you a tough time about it, don't be afraid to talk to your parents, friends, an adult, or a guidance counsler at your school. It will be forgotten over time & not a big deal. The only reason it may seem like a big deal now is because it just happened so it's recent. Really though, things like that happen to everyone at some point. Maybe not the same exact situation you had, but something similar that was embarrasing. Just be glad that you're health is okay & it wasn't any worse than it was.

The cell phone I have now went nuts yesterday, for lack of a better word. The keypad stopped working right and everything makes a 7 and I can no longer hit send or end.

So, this was the last straw. I am getting a new phone.

I really want an LG chocolate, the new version. I can buy it for $100 with a new two-year agreement. My question is, can I add two years to the contract I have now, without actually getting a new contract? My family has done this before; they made the contract expire two years from the day of activation of the new phone. Can this still be done?

It really depends on your current contract & situation. Talk to a verizon representative or employee. Did you try calling them about your phone?? If you explain that your phone went nuts, they could replace it for you for $50. I did that recently. They replace it with your same phone model, but it's just refurbished. The phone they sent me is actually better than my old one. If you really want a new phone all together, you can pay the full retail price [very expensive] or try talking to them about starting a new plan. You might be able to just add a line to your existing plan, that way you won't be breaking your contract, because if you do it costs a lot of money. Call them or feel free to stop in a local verizon store. You can also visit the website online.

Apologize?? For not being able to hear him?? He treated you like crap & was being a jerk. If anything, he should apologize to you. Do not let anyone push you around like that. You shouldn't have to change your hair color or the way you look for other people. That's ridiculous & if they are your true friends they wouldn't do that to you. Why waste your time on a guy who's going to treat you that way?? Explain to him your feelings about the situation & move on. He's not worth your time if he's going to be that way. It's very rude. You should fix your priorities first. Stand up for yourself. I'm sure you're a smart girl who just has moments sometimes. Everyone does & it isn't a big deal. Hey everybody. For christmas, my dad is finally going to take me off of my prepaid phone and add me to his plan. I get my pick of whatever phone I want, and I want to make the right choice cause I'm going to be stuck with it for two years. I really like the Samsung a737 but i wanted to know if any of you have it and what you think. Is the camera any good?

Everyone has different opinions. It depends on what you are going to use the phone for the most. Obviously calling is a major issue. The screen on it is pretty big, so it would be good to go through your contacts & text people. The keys do seem a bit small, so you might want to take that into consideration if you're big on texting. It has a 3 mega-pixel camera which is pretty good. Here's a review-

On Facebook, how do you change your privacy settings so people who are only your friends can see your profile picture or click on your name? For example, this girl Jenny has it for hers. If I wasn't her friend on facebook, but she listed in a network, I would see her name in black and that's it. I wouldn't be able to see her friends or poke her either. How do I do this? I want people who aren't my friends to only see my name, friend request me, and message me. That's it.

Sign in to facebook & go on your home page. At the top go to Privacy.

Then to the right of Profile, go to Edit Settings. Next, you can pick various things that you want changed dealing with who can & cannot see your profile. You can change it to "Only my friends" or "Only people in my network", etc. If you have any other questions, you can leave me an inbox or look it up at Facebook's FAQ section.

Yikes! Believe it or not, tons of girls had similar situations. As bad as it may seem now, they'll eventually get over it & forget about it. Maybe you should talk about it with your boyfriend. Honestly, PMS is apart of life & you're a girl so it really shouldn't be a big deal. His friends are just immature. Ignore them. You aren't dating his friends anyway.

That's definitely okay. I think it's way better to have a few close friends then a lot of distant friends. As long as you get along with them, who cares. It doesn't matter how many friends you have. If you are there for each other, then it'll work out just fine.

My grandfather who lives in Portugal is pretty much a big deal there and well rich haha. And he likes to buy expensive gifts. Like last year for Christmas, he bought me and my sister a GameCube, and for my birthday he got me this really nice $500 digital camera. This year, I really want the iPod Touch (not iPhone), so I want him to buy me itt =]. BUT, if he bought it in Portugal, and sent it here, would it work the same here? Or would he have to buy it here?

When do we find out the cutoff for National Merit Semifinalists for the PSAT? Apparently the cutoff is different year to year, and state to state. In DC, I made a 226, and I did not have an asterisk.
1) What was the cutoff for DC last year?
2) What is it this year/ when will we know?

They're saying that it was 223 exactly for DC & some are saying it's usually around 222. If you didn't have an asterick, then it must have risen again. I would suggest going online to Collegeboard.com & researching it there. You can always feel free to send them an email.

It's an online radio where you type in a song or an artist & they'll give you songs/artists that are similar to what you typed in.

When you sign up [it's free], there's a button that says Create New Radio Station. Type in 'Sia' & it will create a list of songs that are similar to that band's type of music. You can also type in 'Breathe Me' but there's probably going to be a lot of songs that are more general since there's a variety of songs with that title.
