PSAT National Merit

Question Posted Sunday December 2 2007, 11:55 am

When do we find out the cutoff for National Merit Semifinalists for the PSAT? Apparently the cutoff is different year to year, and state to state. In DC, I made a 226, and I did not have an asterisk.
1) What was the cutoff for DC last year?
2) What is it this year/ when will we know?

Any information you may be looking for would be found on the College Board or National Merit website. This is from a forum-

They're saying that it was 223 exactly for DC & some are saying it's usually around 222. If you didn't have an asterick, then it must have risen again. I would suggest going online to Collegeboard.com & researching it there. You can always feel free to send them an email.

-hope that helped!♥
