theres a boy who ive known for a few years that i really really like. Hes just awesome...when he talks to me, he looks right into my eyes, and smiles. And hes great at listening, smiling the whole time. He and i went on a roller coaster yesterday (one that was very very intense and normally i wouldnt have gone on, lol) but he made me feel confident and we had a great time on it. He accepted me into his circle of friends and they all were very nice to me. But im unsure of something....how can i tell if hes ready for a relationship? He has a lot of boy in him, if you know what i mean....like laughing, playing, and just hanging out with boys...which makes me wonder if me asking him out or something would scare him off. well i think if you are good friends and you like him as more then you should tell him how you feel. he may not be ready for a relationship or maybe he only sees you as a friend but the important thing is that you try. he seems like a really great guy and wont be freaked out about you liking him. it seems like he's been flirting with you a little, its hard to tell for sure but he might like you. and if he doesnt feel the same then you will just have to accept it and move on. he wont care and you can still be good friends. so tell him how you feel and hope for the best. id love to know how it goes. good luck!

i know exactly what ur going through. for the longest time ive liked my friend and its the hardest thing even to deal with. i cried so much about him i even thought about suicide. i wished for so long that he would feel the same way about me but he didnt he just saw me as a friend but he was my everything. and i could bear it and it was eating me up inside for the longest time. the only way to get over him and ive had to go through so much pain to realize this is by letting go of all hope that he ever will like you. only then can you see him as just a friend. no matter what he does just continue to tell yourself that he doesnt see you that way. make yourself believe it. its not your fault that he doesnt love you. you cant control how he feels and you have to accept that its for the best. everything that happens in life is a learning experiance. the more pain we go through the stronger we become and you have to know that happiness can only come from inside of you. no one can make you happy except yourself. once you realize that you dont need anyone to make you happy you can build an inner strength that is so unshakeable that no one can break down. then no matter what happens nothing will ever be able to destroy your peace of mind. its gonna take a while for all of this you have to believe it and soon you will see yourself get over him. when i got over my friend it felt so good that i could live without the pain. i am so proud of myslef and i know that you can do it to. once you are over it you will be able to forgive yourslef and the world and look forward to life with a smile. not a fake smile but a real smile that will allow you to help your friends see life in the same way. life is beautiful, it truly is, you may not see it yet but i know what you're feeling right now. and im sorry that its so painful but in the end itll all be better. good luck in this and in your entire life ahead.

13/f gothic punk hes 13/m athletic nerd. my best friend and i really like eachother. for a long time but we never did anything. neither of us can date. but he did in 5th grade but it never went anywhere past holding hands now he hates her. but now were gona go to the movies but more as friends. we liked eachother for almost a year and we hug we act like were dating as in how we talk and what we do to eachother. he talks about others dateing. does that mean he wants us to? our friends keep trying to get us together and he doesnt really get along with my friends my next best friend after him they hate eachother but shes the main one trying to get us together. shes doing everything to help me with my life now im getting very deppressed lately and about to give up on life. but were going to the movies me and him probly some of his and my other close friends i dono what kind of movie to see i dono what to do at the movies were not dating but he might ask me out what do i do? for now were just best friends in love. and were gona go to the mall shopping. what do i do. we do pranks on eachother i always have around my other friends but i do around him now. were movie critics hes a punk around me. i like scary movies hes VERY scared of them. his mom and i dont get along she just doesnt understand me. she thinks were going to the mall since were bestfriends and going with about 15 people. what do i do if he asks me out? how do you kiss like boyfriend girlfriend? id kiss like i do as a best friend i guess. what do i do shopping? what do i do at the movies??? i neeeeed help for the movies. were freaks together i love him he loves me. ok, so i like this guy and hes a year younger then me tho, for some reason i like him but he treats me terrible, he talks about me and stuff. if i were you id just tell him you dont like him anymore. you should seriously go up to him and tell him in person. just tell him that you're gonna get your friends to stop bothering him and that you wanna be friends with him again. if hes a jerk and doesnt understand than he probably isnt worth being friends with. and tell your friends that you dont like him anymore so they should shut up and get lives. hahaa well not really but id say that to them. lol just as lomng as they get the idea. hope this clears up because girl drama is a pain in the ass.

I'm currently an athiest but I'm very interested in some religious things. I'm interested in wicca and I forgot what this was called but it's where you believe in nature and it's signs. But I'm leaning more towards wiccan ideas. Are they athiestic or nothiestic? I'm just wondering. And if there is anyone out there who can teach me little by litte [I'm horrible at reading online stuff and learning in that way.]

Basically, it's the friend falling for her best friend...except in this case, I'm a girl and my friend is a girl. I'm bi and not out and she's straight...and a gay rights supporter. I'm 9th grade and she's in 10th grade and I met her less than a year ago. I really like her and I hate to keep things from her. I know that she can keep a secret because we're really close [we literally finish each other's sentences and we find ways to see each other everyday, etc]. I don't know. I sometimes get the feeling that she's bi too but she's a Christian but I don't know if she's a strict one or not. Anyways I don't know if I should tell her or not. I know that she can keep secrets for her life...and she's a major supporter of gay rights like I am. you should tell her how you feel. even if she doesnt feel the same or "cant" feel the same all that matters is that she knows. it seems like she will understand and not get freaked out by it. i have a gay friend who i fell for. obviously he didnt like me because well he likes guys but at least he knew and i felt better about telling him. secrets are evil and in the long run can cause a lot of damage to a person. and maybe you never know she could like you too. i say you tell her that way she knows and you dont have to worry about keeping it from her. hope all goes well.

The other day I was babysitting with my cousin, and one of the kids ran out of the house and we lost him for a while! We were so scared and the child's mother was very angry with us. Luckily, we found him. I just was asked to babysit my mom's friend's kids, but I'm really scared that I'll lose the kid again! HELP!

well you should make sure to have the kids busy with something so they dont just leave. and a good idea would be to keep all doors locked and maybe keep them in one room where you can see what they're up to. you know thy could break something or fall over or something so just make sure your watching them at all times. better yet rent a movie and watch it with them. that way everyone is entertained and safe.

just go with him and have fun but if you dont want to kiss him just say im sorry not yet. he wont think any less of you he should respect that you dont want to kiss yet. and if hes a jerk and doesnt want to date you anymore because of a stupid kiss then thats just because hes not worth it and hes a loser. trust me!

Okay. For about a year and a half now, there's this guy I've had a HUGE crush on--I've never liked someone THIS MUCH. Anyway, I was talking to him on the phone and he ends up saying he met a girl at a track meet. Now he doesn't know I like him, we're friends. I faked a "That's great! Who is she?" as I punched the pillow on my bed. I was a little worried, but then he said he really liked her and was going to ask her out. And then what next? I practically died. I'm still happy for him though, because I want him to be happy, even if I'm not the one he likes. But it's been killing me. I don't want to tell him I like him--I don't think that would go very well. hey i know what you mean it really stinks when this kind of thing happens. the best thing for you to do is to be patient in the meantime. if he does ask her out and she says yes then you will have to wait for them to break up or forget about him but seeing as you like him soo much that might be hard to do rite now. if she says no then maybe he'll bring it up and seem kind of sad about it on the phone or something. thats ur perfect opportunity to tell him how you feel. say oh im sorry but i know someone who likes you! and hes gonna ask who and then you can either say its you or make him guess by giving him clues. take the risk if he says he only sees you as a friend then say ok its no big deal and just leave it at that-[you can cry once he hangs up on the phone if you need to]. if hes your true friend he wont care if you like him he will still treat you the same as always. my friend who ive liked twice[and still do] told me both times that he doesnt like me like that but it never messed up our friendship. and i just told him yesterday and today it wasnt awkward at all. seriously take the risk and you will most likely get what you want! and if you dont it'll be fine and you can talk to me more about this if you need anything at all. hope all goes well. good luck.

oh yea i think that ur perfectly normal dont worry and haha yea everyone masterbates whether they admit it or not, haha. my best friend was going through the same thing a few months ago and it turned out that she ended up breaking up with her bf and getting with her gf. and trust me its the happiest ive seen her in a long time. maybe ur just experimemting right now but it could go either way. most people now a days are ok with it and you have nothing to worry about. its easier for some girls to relate to girls than to guys. so its all good. dont stress soon enough you'll know for sure.

you know just reading your story is making me tear up too. im sorry you have to go through this but if he doesnt want to be with you theres not much you can do about it. finding love is like standing up. it takes a while to get up. and you have to keep falling down before you get there. and once you do its hard to stay up. but everytime you fall it hurts less and you learn from it. and you become stronger and wiser each time. in the end you'll be walking with no problem and sure you may stumble every once in a while but you'll be too strong to ever fall down all the way again. and that kind of inner strength is what makes us overcome anything. you can and will get through this with time. im going through a very similar thing too right now. but it will be okay. im here for you anything you need ok? write me back if you need anything. hope all goes well.

okay i've got a question
see i used to like this guy who was one of my best friends. everytime i saw him i would get soo freaking happy and i wouldnt stop smiling. i was always excited to see him or hang out with him. well he didnt like me. this storys not about him but its needed to be told. you'll understand in a minute.
well theres this guy who likes me. i thought i liked him but i'm not sure. when i see him, i'm just like ..hi.. like theres not the major excitement i used to get when i saw my old crush. plus i'm noticing things about him that i dont like so much, the more i know him. i'm not sure if i actually like him or just like the fact that he likes me, because i'm not exactly gorgeous.

i think that when someone tells you that they like you it kind of makes you think of that person differently, maybe just a little. and most likey you just enjoy the fact that he likes you but arent really that into him. since you dont seem to know him too well maybe you should take the time to know him a little better. that way you can decide whether your feelings are of friendship or more than friendship. and since he already likes you it would work out. its better in my opinion to try to go for a guy that you have a chance with and in this case you definately do. if not you can be great as friends too.

Okay well theres this guy well he's actually my best friend "JeremY". And i really wanna know if he likes me. hey i know EXACTLY how it feels. its hard to tell for sure. well ok if hes not gay then he probably does. not saying he is or anything but gay guys often will give girls affection because they feel more comfortable with it.
once you eliminate that possibility then just go for it. tell him or try to do something like hold his hand. this will let him know how you feel. and if you feel really confident kiss him!

girls with brown eyes look really good with the opposite color such as green or blue would be nice. if you have green or blues eyes the opposite would be brown. so anyways if that doesnt work you could always go for black eyeliner and black shadow which are my personal fav cuz they look good with anything. hope you have fun and im sure you'll look great! =]]]

i know that its really embarrassing to here that a guy doesnt like you back or maybe just wants to be just wants to be friends. and yea i recently told my guy friend that i liked him and guess what he said i just wanna be friends. its okay though because there are gonna be other guys that will like you and want you as their girlfriend. also theres nothing wrong with telling a guy that you liKE HIM cuz a lot of guys are shy so keep trying with other guys.

okay, i cut myself like 3 times and i dont anymore. i never had a problem with it i just did it a few times. at cheerleading practice i base and my arms get skin burn from my flyers shirt and then my scars are visible. i was over a year ago since i cut and you cant see it but when my arms get red they show. what can i do?

ok well i used to cut myself too and i do drill team at my school so whenever i have to wear the uniform which doesnt cover my arms the scrars show. what i do is wear long sleves or sweatshirts all the time. but recently i stared putting cover up over the scars and it hides em pretty well. its been a while since i last cut and i dont want people getting the wrong idea. anyways hope it helps.

I have come to fall in love with my best friend.
We almost went out about six months ago but his ex girlfriend came in the picture and stole him away. Then they broke up about two months ago.
I have the password to his account..and I sometimes go in there and check up on him and this girl he's been hanging out with, sent him an email, and said "last night if I would of asked you to kiss me would you of said no?"..
he said "I wouldn't of said no".
its like I've done everything for that boy and been there for him when no one will and yet the thing never goes across his head that "hey I'm looking for love in all the wrong places its been right in front of me the whole time!"
but that just hurts me and I can't approach him about it because thats such in invasion of privacy but the way I see it is I would be blindly chasing after him and get hurt and so I'm being the smarter one here and seeing what he is up to.
he hides him hanging out with girls from me! like if I ask him what he is doing, he'll say he's going here or he's going there when he really goes over to a girls house.
I'm just not sure what to do. Help!!

hey i know how you feel.
this kinda thing really hurts, its like he doesnt realize how much he means to you and that he and you would be great together and you would love him and u get along great so why shouldnt you be a couple?
sadly, no matter how hard we try, sometimes the guy that we want may never see us in that kind of way. maybe he just sees you as a friend. maybe hes afraid if you go out it will mess up ur friendship. maybe he likes you too but hes afraid you dont like him. there are many possibiblities but the only way to know for sure is to tell him how you feel. tell him that you have feelings for him if you havent already told him.
im in the same situation. my best friend means the world to me and i guess he doesnt see me or something but that is only because i havent been completely honest about my feelings. how can i expect him to give me an answer to a question ive never asked him.
i say to avoid making things awkward you say something like this:
you: do you like me?
him: well as a friend
you: ok good i thought you were mad at me or something.
that way if he says he doesnt like you it wont make anything awkward. and if he says he does then tell him you do too. and if he does say that he only sees you as a friend then you should really try to move on. ive been hurting myself since january over a guy that never liked me but maybe now he does. the only way to find out is by asking him. and i think i need to ask him too. trust me i know this is hard on you. heartbreak is the worst pain ive ever known. but if you ever need anything at all feel free to leave me a message, k? and if you have A I M we can chat. ok i wish you the best of luck. =)
