O.k i'm 14/fm and live in Texas. I want a b.f. so badly, but none of the boys at my school like me cause i have braces, and i'm 5ft 2inch. I've had boyfriends, but they were'nt very much true b.f.'s. I'm always told by a friend or something that i'll never have a true b.f. that actually likes me, cause they eather say i'm not pretty enough or i'm not smart enough. My dad says i'm pretty, and i get all a's in my classes. How come guy's still don't like me. Maybe a guy could answer this question for me. Thanx lots.

Well I don't think the braces should be a problem. I can't say I know personally because i've never had them, but most of my friends do and that never really stoped them. I can understand your height thing though because im barely 5feet myself, but alot of guys go for a short girl because it makes them feel as though they can easily protect you. Maybe you're not getting a boyfriend becaue you only want one just to want one? But i've come to find that if you stop trying really hard and killing yourself over it the right guy will just come. Most likely, hes right there in front of you. Hoope it helps!

I'm the same way, but mostly the abusive comments are comming from the girls right? And a few guys. Well some guys go for it and others don't. It also makes alot of girls jealous because when a guy does like it he'll flirt back alot. Let me guess, you have more guy friends than girls? Or you hang with them more often? Wll i hope im right because thats alot like me too. But as far as other ways to flirt when the hittings not working.

Well im not sure if at her house with all her family there is the best time espically on a holiday. But thats your choice. Be really sweet to her, cuddle, and hold her hand. Most girls like that. Don't go to far or be to pushy because thats a really big turn off, just do whast shes comfortable with. Hope it helps!

Well it usually means that since you like him you don't want him to see you alone. Because we always think "if im by myself it will look like im a loser" Also you might be trying to avoid direct eye contact because if your always staring then he'll get the hint. okay there is this guy i like but he is in 11th grade and im in 9th and he sits at my lunch table n all of a sudden like a few months ago he just stated to sit next to me and stuff and flirt kinda and ive had ppl at my table come up 2 me and say i think you 2 should go out. But hes also a big partier if u kno what i mean n ive heard stories about him that arnt too good like hes always partying n stuff like that. I know hes a great guy and i seriously think he quit. I dont think he would pressure or drag you into the partying that he does. Yea hes funny i mean who else does random things like wear purses around their neck or run around the cafeteria with a pope hat that sam made. If you start to get to know him better he has to like you, plus you always have your other friends at the table since everyone thinks you guys should go out. Trust me people talk when your not there. Just start to talk to him more. Since your such close friends he won't find it odd more. Try and hang out just the two of you instead of with a group. Kinda hint to him that you like him, without telling him directly. Flirt alot and as "what if" questions ex. what if i asked you out right now? Hope it helps!

I have a really bad problem with my hair. it's huge. It frizzy and thick and its so hard to manage. I was just wondering if there are any known products that can help me with my unmanageable hair. I've tried thinning, and cutting and many products with minimal success. Also straightening my hair takes about 3 hours and I really dont have that kind of time to spend on my hair. Please help!! I rate high for appropriate answers

My hair is the same way very frizzy and very thick and it seems like nothing helps. I use bed head products the "control freak" to make ur hair straighter. Use the shampoo conditioner and the gellish stuff. When you get out of the shower use gells and syurms because i use two put together they work really well the bedhead control freak (green bottle) and gargner frucis is also in a green bottle they work well. Also try to blow dry your hair straight it works and get a ceramic flat iron and do ur hair in layers starting from the bottom. Hope i helped!

i go to a privet school ok but don't think i am a prep. ok i have long blond hair and blue eyes, and i am short like maby 4'8" or 4' 9" and none of the guys in my grade(7th ) like me and its like i just feel realy left out some times from my friends and all the "popular" girls just go out with guys to have a boyfriend i think and i am like not desperat but i want to like some one and and want some one to like me with out it being grows . is this normal or am i just a freak over reacting. help and what do guys like in girls at the age about 13. Okay well you deffenatly shouldn't worry about it. I see alot of couples in my school and yeah sometimes when your alone it's lonely feeling but it's normal your only human. More than likly you shouldn't just go out with someone because you want a boyfriend, because if they really like you, you could hurt them. If you stop really thinking about guys and stop worrying about looking someone will just come to you. Take a look at your close guy friends, alot of good couples start out as good friends because they know each other so well, but be careful some good friendships are supposed to be good friendships. Try talking to him aobut it, tell him you don't want to be with him and your happy with your current love. Tell him he needs to stop teasing you because its getting old and its just m,aking him look like a jerk. Deffinatly stand your ground. If thats not somthing you want to or feel comphertable doing then don't. It kinda sounds like all he wants is sex. i am 13/f and i like one of my best friends! i liked him for about 3 months now and all i have found out was that he has a girlfriend... thats like all he ever talks about! One day when i was hanging out with him and a couple of friends and we kinda made a bet about if this one basketball team wins that i would have to ask him out... well they won and i did and i told him it was a joke and he said idk ill think about it... but i dont know if he was joking or not to and then today at lunch he said yes... but he is known to make alot of jokes and i bet he is gonna turn around and say just jokin so idk what i should do... i bet he was joking... but he could be serious. how do i found out if he was joking or serious w/o him finding out that i kinda was serious?

This is really tough...talk to your closet friend that also knows him well enough to talk aobut that. Find out if he is breaking up with his current girl and if he like you as more than a friend. You never knows since you guys are really good friends..that happens alot to me and my friends...their really good guy friends will start to like them from talking so often. You sound alot like me and htis one boy in my school. I am also 14 and we have dated before too. We have also been talking alot lately and im starting to like him. I don't see him very much in school but we tlak on the phone alot. I suggest that you call her more because unlike AOL or AIM its more personal because you can talk and hear tones of voices (yea i know it sounds odd but trust me here) Try and see each other outside of school and yes, subtly hinting that you like her is good. Ask "sarcastic" or "what if" questions like, if me and you were alone in a hot tub what would you do?" ya kno? i do it alot...well im a girl but the guy usually starts comming up with his own questions. i really hope i helped!

Well theres not alot you can do really. Besides trying to spend more time together. Try and tell her you like her but don't come right out and say it, because there is a chance that might be to straightforward for her. Alot of times I have the same problem. But after a while the messiness annoys me. So i usually try to put clothes in the hamper and when i get newely wased clothes don't say you will puit them away later, just get it over with. The dishes, try maybe not to eat un your room as much, trust me it works. My desk has drawers so i keep alot of my books and notes and things in there maybe if yours dosen't you should try and get a new one. Just a suggestion! Hope it helps.

I haven't gotten my period since the end of January. I'm not sexually active, and haven't been for the past year and a half. However I had lost about 7-10 pounds since the last time I've gotten my period. Is there something wrong? Or do you think that I haven't gotten my period because of my weight loss and diet change? Don't worry aobut it. I know that it has happened to me before too. If your period does that it could be things like your diet, traveling and stress. Also with alot of girls for the 1st few years its normal to be irregulaur. Also with some girls no matter how long they have had it their cycle changes or is naturally irregular.

I've gained like, 20 pounds since I broke up with my boyfriend a month or so ago, and i relaly want to lose at least ten of them again. I eat rather healthy, veggies every day, no cokes, and just a cookie at lunch. i just eat a lot, like, I'll eat so much, and won't realize I'm full until I stand up from the table. And then, I'm always so stuffed! And there is nothing i can do about it. Ever time I tell my friends I wanna lose the 10 pounds, they call me anerixic. well, haha, If you've ever seen me eat, you couldn't be more wrong. I couldn't ever not eat, but I want a way to control my eating so I can keep my tummy flat. I'm not fat, but my stomache is a bit bigger than I'd like, luckily, i haven't gained fat anywhere else.
I was wondering if i should throw up food sometimes if i eat to much. Not like, every day or anything, just if I accidentally over eat. How do you make yourself throw up? Does it hurt?

Well you have a good idea to eat right...but the cookie for lunch is not a good choice. I don't know if you take or buy a lunch but if you take a lunch try and buy. I know that at my school they have like so much u can buy like salads and soups and sandwhichs everday and u can get 2 of the 3 and its enough. If you buy your lunch don't buy junk or try to bring a lunch to school with a normal amount of food so you don't overeat. Also don't try to throw-up your food! It could become a habbit! Try and get involved in a sport or work-out after school. Hope this helped!
