I'm 15 years old + a virgin. My best friend has had sex with her bf. My boyfriend isn't a virgin, either. I feel so left out since I've never done anything really 'sexual' with a guy. Good on you for not giving into peer pressure and waiting for someone you love to experience sex with. Sex (in my opinion) is a very intimate thing and should only be done with someone you care about. Most of my friends have had sex too and I'm a virgin, but none of them really give a rats ass about it. It sounds like you're a very mature young woman who understands what relationships are all about- trust me, it's better to be known as a virgin than a slut that sleeps with any boy who comes along. Wait for a special guy, and until you are good and ready, and everything will be perfect.

I'm 5'5 and I'm 18, and here it's considered quite short. I know people who are about 4 years younger than me and are taller. 5'5 is a nice height, and you may grow a couple more inches yet :)

Seriously, if you ignore her and just let her cool down, let her have her little tantrum, she'll realise just how immature her reasoning to give you attitude is, and she'll apologise.

Reading a book at bedtime often helps people to settle down for sleep. Also avoiding eating, or drinking anything caffenated before bed. Try and wear yourself out during the day by exercising, working, going somewhere with friends etc. Also, if you get up late its hard to fall asleep at night; regular hours are always the best for healthy sleeping.

Braces ache a little as soon as they're put on - but be prepared for the big pain the morning after. Keep painkillers handy.

I am 17 years old and I feel that it is time for me to tell my friends and parents about me being gay. I have managed to tell a few friends already, and they took it easy. I don't want my other friends (guys in particular and girls that hate gays) to turn around and say that I am gross and never talk to me again. The best policy is to be honest. Your parents (although I don't know them) are going to love you no matter what your sexual preference is; Just because you're a guy who likes guys it doesn't make you a different son, or a different friend. As for your friends, if they're real friends they'll accept it. If they say you're gross and they never want to talk to you again then they're ignorant, stupid people who aren't worth the trouble.
I have plenty of gay friends and it doesn't bother me in the least because they're exactly that - friends. It must be difficult and nerve-wracking, but you might be surprised at how accepting your loved ones will be :)

Dealing with name calling is something that most kids go through. I did when I was at school, and my tactic was to ignore it. Seriously, if you hold your head up high, and just blank the people who call you names, they WILL get bored and stop it. I know its difficult not to let it get to you, so maybe you could listen to music between classes/when walking into school so you don't hear them at all, or walk with a big group of people; it's more difficult to single out someone when they're surrounded by others.
Please, enjoy yourself at school. I finished high school two years ago, and have just done 2 years of studying for A levels. Trust me, and others, when they say that school is the best time of your life - even if it doesn't seem like it right now, when you leave and look back on it, the good memories stick with you, and the cowardly losers who call people names disappear.

I have an O2X1 Pay As You Go - which are no longer available, you have to buy one on contract. I don't have set minutes each month, I just pay for what I use with credit. It's quite cheap though, and I find it better than contract because I dont have a bill at the end of each month; if I cant afford credit I cant use the phone!

Hang out with your friends, do things you injoy. Do NOT worry about not having a boyfriend; you have plenty of time to enjoy that sort of thing in a few years time. Having guys as friends is the best, just go out there and enjoy it till you're ready for it.

Oh honey! I'm sorry this has happened to you.. Have you told your best friend how you feel? Does she know that you've been crushing on this guy? They should NOT be relying on you to cover their asses in front of their parents. You seem like a very loyal friend to do this; but if it's hurting you, say no. Tell your friend the truth; be open and honest about it. If she goes off on one at you, she's stupid. Other than that, this is one hell of a tricky problem to get out of. If they're together, and happy together, try and focus your energy into something you want to do; do some stuff with your other friends and find a different guy. There's not much else you can do but try and move back and away from this; it'll hurt for a while, but the feelings for this guy will go away. If you're not honest with your friend and keep hanging out with them when it's hurting you, she's not going to know that anything is wrong.

I can't describe my fear because it's to complicated. My best friend and i have known each other for a very long time. We planned our life together and now that we are growing older our plans are totally ruined. We're going to different schools and she has already kissed a boy and i'm a bit nervous around them. And i'm afriad of being alone. I want to freeze time because talking and playing games with my friend is changing to more mature things for her but not me. Everyone seems to be getting older and the change and time and me are all just clashing. Fears are usual stupid but how can u be brave if you aren't afriad of anything??

Everyone is afraid of moving on; I'm probably a little older than you (I'm 18) but I just finished sixth form, and I've been with all my friends (including my best friends) for about 14 years now. Now everyone is going to different universities and I'm afraid I wont see them ever again. But you have to think of it in a positive way; This is going to be a new start for you. You have to make new friends in your new school. Everyone is afraid of being alone, so you're not at all alone in this fear.
Just because you're going to different schools does not mean you still can't have your best friend as your best friend. My best friend is going to a university that's almost 40 miles away from me, but we know we're going to stay in touch because we really care about each other. We'll visit and write. If you and your friend really put the effort in, there should be no problem with you remaining friends.
Growing up is a hard thing to do; but everyone has to do it. Perhaps there's something there that you are repressing, some deeper rooted problem that you're trying to ignore. Talk to someone you trust; your parents, a friend, a teacher. Sharing the problem will make it easier to deal with :)

Lately, my mom has been telling the most random people really personal stuff about me. For instance, I bought a thong the other day, and my mom went and told all of the people at her work. I also trusted her when I told her who I had a crush on. She told my whole entire family and a bunch of her customers at her work. She also tells people what grades I get (A's, B's, & C's), that I'm "way too thin", and all this personal stuff. I've told my mom to stop, but then it always gets worse. What should I do? (link)

Lately I've been getting on my parents nerves. I can tell cause they're always mad at me. They say it's because I have a really bad attitude. Even though I really don't think I do. I usually have a great attitude about things. I've also been really into acting and every time I talk about it they just ignore me so I get mad. Just the other day he told me I did something when I knew I didn't so I calmly told him I didn't and he told me I was lying so I got mad. He told me to get rid of my attitude so I said no because he called me a liar. Then He got up in my face and just started screaming at me. I'm really confused right now and don't know what to do. I dont have the best relationship with my parents either; they always say I'm too smart with them, that I have a bad attitude and whatever. Sometimes it's not *what* you say that upsets parents, but the *way* you say it. You're 14 now, and you're growing up fast; your parents know that they're not going to have a say in everything you do for much longer, and this results in conflict. Just be calm, dont rise, dont scream and shout (as tempting as it is), and let your parents get on with it. Hope this helps :)

Its always better to talk to the guy about it yourself, rather than ask a friend to do it for you. Ask him out after the summer, and if he still says no then I suggest you move on. You don't want to scare him by asking him out eight billion times. Good luck!
