hey, i asked you a question before on how to get your thighs littler, and you said to run up a hill and stuff. well ive been doing that around my neighborhood and in track. and all that is happening is my legs are getting bigger because of muscle. do you know any other ways that will make them skinnier without having they bulky with muscle?
You have to just loose weight, unless your legs are like 0% fat then you just have alot of leg muscles which is good. Best way is to do cardio, like jogging long distance or what not and eating healthy. There are plenty of sites that can tell you what you can eat and stuff. You can also try the Self.com challenge.
Hey. I have a amazing boyfriend, we've been going out for a long time. I have a problem though. I'm am extremely jealous and i can't help it. What should I do? I don't want to loose him.

I would say, just try and push it aside. Sure, holding in emotions isn't good, so if its gets to an unbearable point, talk to someone about it and get it off your chest. But really, think, being jealous gets you no where. You just go through all these pointless emotions for nothing. It's not like being jealous of some girl whos friends with your boyfriend is going to make her uglier or make her go away. Accecpt that your boyfriend cares about you, I mean if youve been going out for a long time I take it that you really mean something to him. Thing is, you can't just give up and say, "I can't help it", you've got to try and if you already have, try some more. I do believe anything can be overcome with enough will power. I know jealously is hard but consider all the positives you have compaired to whatever makes you jealous. Think how much better you are than stooping down to a jealous level where you may even watch your boyfriends every move to make sure hes not doing anything wrong. Like I said, if its something too hard to hold in, tell someone about it, a trust-worthy friend or maybe even you boyfriend. Hopefully they'll understand or atleast be there to listen to you. Getting teachers involved will not solve anything. Parents can't stop gossip either, really. Some cases maybe, but gossip is like a storm and you can't control it becasue it all is what the other person does, not you. By your last comment, I see she is annoying and pissing you off. I think the best thing to do is just ignore it. I know its really hard but getting pissed about it and possible lashing out or crying will just let her see your breakable and she might just keep gossiping more. But you don't wnat to talk bad about her becasue your sinking to just as low of a level. If theres only one more year left, try and just put it off till shes gone. If shes this pathetic then shes not worth getting worked up over. Whenever she says something stupid, jsut think how lame she is and how strong you are and so much more mature by not spreading rumors like her. If she jealous, theres a good reason, SHES NOT YOU! And your probaly alot better a person that she is because you don't spread stuff around. If she does say stuff that makes you loose friends, be accused of something, or affects you in any negative way then just tell her like an adult, that the situation is unnecessary. Punching won't solve anything, though it might make you feel better.. take it out on a pillow or something ha. hope this helped =)

First most, please don't type like that. It's hard to read and if you ask anyone else on this website they will probalby be annoyed or not answer. Hah, not trying to be mean but just to make it easier on us.
Secondly, its fine if a girl asks a guy out. Some guys may be flattered if they like you back, or find it cool that you had the guts to ask them out. Others may want to keep it traditional and think its a little odd if a girl asks out the guy. It all depends on the person. Same with girls, some find it weird and some (in my opinion) think its perfectly fine. So if you feel like you most definately want to go out with him, go ahead and ask. Hope this helped

Yeah guys are confusing, so your not alone =). If I was curious about a guy, before diving right in and possible getting rejected, I'd talk to a friend of his or someone who can get the inside scoop to see if he likes anyone, or even you. The downside is that if he flirts and dates alot of other girls then he probaly is a player and kind of an ass hole, so you never know. It would be better to be friends before so you can really know him, but if your just intrested in a little hook up or what not, I guess flirting is just enough. I would say, get someone who knows him well to give you their opinion on him and if you have a chance, if they think you do, then flirt somemore, and when you feel comfortable, go for it. alright, so i think my sister has an eating disorder. she hasnt lost any extreme weight yet, but i hear when shes in the bathroom what sounds like throwing up and everytime she comes out of the bathroom she brushes her teeth. and im worried about her. what should i do ?
Look for signs.. I take it that if she hasnt lost weight then she might not be anorexic, but since she throws up it could be bulimia. Usually, bulimics arent under weight and are acutlaly normal looking, but consume HUGE amounts of food in one sitting. So if you notice her fill her plate more than 2 times, with alottt of food, or just eat alot at once, she might be binging.
Ask yourself these about her..
Is she obsessed with her body and weight?
Does food and dieting dominate her life?
Is she afraid that when she start eating, she won’t be able to stop?
Does she feel guilty, ashamed, or depressed after eating?
Does she vomit or take laxatives to control her weight?
If your super worried, tell someone. She most likely wants to be left alone with her disorder if she has one. And you can not just go up to her and tell her that she needs to stop throwing up and eat and telling her shes going to die if she doesn't stop and stuff like that. I know that when I had a problem if someone told me that I would get so angry and mad and say, "I know shut up I can handle myself" and then when I was by myself I'd start crying and turn so upset. But I also know that bulima and anorexia are different so I'm just thinking it might be the same with both disorders, if not im sorry. But I would definately tell her that you are worried and if she denys it, and you still see signs of a disorder, tell someone responsible. If she can't break the problem, a parent or adult can call a doctor/phyctrist or any other help. Hope this helped, good luck.

Yeah its real normal, its when you hymen is broke/poped.. called a cherry. It might have hurt, did it? If it did its normal, if not thats also normal. No worries , hope this helped!!

Theres three places I know of, none in Lockport. Theres Xtreme Cheer and Dance in Orland, Gym Kinetics in Mokena and New Lenox, and Arial/Arena in Joliet (inside Gold's Gym, kind of a gymnastics place). Any are good, I liked Gym Kinetics the most. It all depends on how far you are. If youve never cheered before and want a flipflop, 3 weeks might not be enough. But if your already really close, it might work. You just need to practice with someone who has a good flipflop and that can teach you. Hope this helped

Omgggg relpying to the person's answer before me =). Yes Heath Ledger.. ah thats my favorite movie part ever. And that song is great to sing. I belt it out all the time but I can't sing well. I think the best is to just practice and try different styles of breathing. Hope thishelped =)
I'm 14/f 5'6" and weigh 120 pounds alright, so im mostly thin, im in 2 sports, gymnastics and softball. and my thighs are bigger than the rest of my body. do you know any good exercises that can help me get them smaller? thanks=]
I know of thy toning exercises, but that might just make them more muscluar/bulky. If you want to slim them down then you'll have to do cardio to burn the fat away, like running, bike riding or cardio exercise tapes (veery fun!). I can give you a site to give thy exercises...

Also, if your legs are all muscle then thats great! And i'm sure that if you lost weight you'd loose muscle becaue 120 for a 5'6 girl is pretty light/thin.. so I doubt you have alot of body fat. I bet loosing any muscle would suck because when I lost weight I lost muscle and I could barely do any of my tumbling for cheerleading.. and I know that if you lost skills in gymnastics that it would be horrible. If you don't want to loose muscle, try doing cardio with losts of protein in your diet to prevent muscle loss. If you not up for all that, just imbrace your awesome legs! I'd love to be able to leg press like a man ;) haha, I bet alot of girls would kill for legs like yours, dont worry. Hope this helped !!

Weight loss seems extreme to a 13 year old girl who wants to loose like 17 lbs. 17 lbs is reasonable for someone over weight and whos maybe an adult, but since your only 13 you may not even be fully grown. Have you had your period for two years? Because I guess after two years your grown. I don't advise dieting so just try eating healthy and exercising daily. To burn more calories.. thus loosing weight.. you have do to cardio (running,biking riding) and then build muscles to be able to have a faster metabolism. You can never be sure. If I was curious if a guy liked me, I'd keep talking to him and see if he flirted with me at all. Then if he starts talking to you alot too then he probably in interested in some way. I would ask a guy friend of mine to talk to him to see who he likes, maybe get some info out of him. If youve never made out, dont worry about it. There's a first for everything and if you find a boyfriend who really likes you and who you really like, he should accecpt it that youve never made out and would gladly be your first. For a tip.. just go in for a normal kiss then open your mouth, move your toung, and close, then repete. SOryr, its not very descript.. but just try to copy what hes doing untill your good enough to find your own style and own groove. Hope this helped =)

Well.. I know you may know this already or not but Romeo and Juliet / West SIde Story are the same. Well WS Story is an adaptation of it. I like both of the stories alot. Also, I think the only thing funner than reading 2 alike books is reading a book then watching a movie like it or something, once again using Romeo & Juliet as an example. The Leo Decaprio movie one is amazing one. Hope this helped I little =)

Running or walking up hill will help, you feel it imeditately. Running in general will tone thys. Squats, biking... doing this one thing where you stand and lift your leg next to you/in front/behind.

i want to do a new cheer team thats competitive but its brand new & im not sure if theyre even going to be good cause i dont want to waste my time with a team that isnt good. im a good student and i dont want my grades to suffer because of all the activites. & i dont want to be at one sport too much because the other two teams will suffer because i wont be there and its not fair.volleyballs just okay, because last year i couldnt make it to a lot of practices/games cause of cheer practices and i didnt play that much cause of cheer so idk if its worth my time to do volleyball but i want to because it will be my 8th grade year & ive done it all my years at school. well thanks & sorry if this is way too long.
Well since your only in 8th grade (sorry if im wrong but 8th grade was way easy compaired to highschool.. so im just guessing) i would say go for it. Do as many sports as you want to without being over stressed. Once you get to highschool you'll only be able to do one (atleast thats how it is at lths.. once again im just guessing that the schools are the same) sport at a time. So if I were you I'd try to take junior high a little more lightly and then start to get really serious the next year. You probably wont do two sports, or atleast not two at the same time, in higschool. For us, volleyball and cheerleading are at the same time so its either one or the other. I did both in junior high and I was able to keep it up with maintaining my grades too. So get as much done aas you want because you won't have the oppertunity to do both again. Hope this helped

Well our season is over now besides cheering at games. Durning summer we'd have practice maybe 3 times a week. Then durning fall it was around 3 days a week with a game on friday. In winter its about everyday a week with besides game days. It differs but its pretty time consuming. SUmmer was our conditioning mostly, we would run, do sit ups, push ups, jumps, and alot of flipflops/tucks. But since fall/winter we just work on routines so we don't do as much. Sometimes we do sets of 5 tucks.. which can be insanely hard. Doing alot of tucks helps alot though so thats our main conditioning durning comp. season. Hope this answers your question!
hey! im an illinois hs cheerleader..just wanted to say that you're an awesome cheerleader! but anyways, i have my full consistent on the spring floor, but i REALLY need it for tryouts, and tryouts are on cheer floor. its not really that im having a mental block of doing it, but its more that im scared ill get hurt or screw it up if i just throw it..my coaches won't let my tumbling coach come in to spot so i dont know what to do!

My best advice is to just try it. You'll never know unless you do. If its consistant on spring then it should be good on cheer floor. Is there a cheer floor at your tumbling place? If so, do it there with a spot. I'm sure that if you try it you'll be able to land it. I thought for the longest time that I needed spring floor but I got used to cheer floor and I love it now. Just try it because you'll be fine. Hope this helped!!
