so theres this person who i met online. and hes the sweetest thing ever. and i know hes not some crazy stalker whos 76 yet he always says he loves me and he wants to go out and everything. im freaked out that like..he says that. i mean i told him i wanted to get to know him and everything. but sometimes like..i forget about him. blah im just wondering what to say to him..

This sunday its been my one month aniversary with my vegetarianism. Though that kind of makes me sad because for 2 weeks my friends havn't talked to me. They say i've changed a llot, i dyed my hair from blonde to black, wear all black, and am really into rock (though i always have been) and, they ssay they wont talk to me because im a vegetarian! I started skipping lunch, A. because i just cant bring myself to eat. B. because no one to sit with. So i just wait outside (im 13 and in 7th grade)till the bell rings. And home, i lock myself in my room and say like 10 words...max. I just dont want to talk. *sigh* am i slipping into depression. I mean, why should i quit..i do have reason. Factory farms treat there animals HORRIBLE and my 'friends' dont beleive that! I brought my proof, (a book) and they refused to read it. I told them to go to www.meetyourmeat.com and they wouldnt! *sigh* im just so confused, sorry this is long.

I also believe you have made some wrong friends. Friends are people that support you, people that help you, people that are there for you. These friends of yours that you describe do not fit that description. What you need to do is to find some new friends who care about you and will support you in your beliefs. And please, eat! It doesn't have to be meat, but don't stand outside during lunch, that will only hurt you. Malnutrition sucks.

I just broke up with my bf. I told him that we'd still be friends but I just wasn't feeling anything. He was ok with it and acted fine. So, why do I feel so crummy? PLEASE ANSWER! I'M BEGGING YOU! I RATE! PLEASE!

Enough of the capitals. You do realize that is the equivalent to screaming online, correct? No one wants to help someone who screams at them. And begigng doesn't help, we are here to give you advice, and we are here on our own accord, you don't have to beg us to help you. Now, on with your question. You just got out of a relationship. You are going to have some negative feelings, no matter what. You were attached to that person for some time, otherwise there would have been no relationship. And the loss of that attachment has hurt you. Those feelings will fade over time. Just mimic the Gilmore Girls and sit down and eat a lot of chocolate ice cream.

When you beg and plead for people to "not delete" things, it flags your message. It makes us think that there is probalby something wrong with the question and that it probalby DOES need deleted.

My parent's 25th anniversary is coming up. They are going on vacation and everything, but does anyone have any suggestions on what I could get them?

Cool, a well thought-out decent question for once. Buying presents for your parents is always rather difficult, especially because of the age gap. You should get them something they would both enjoy, or something you could enjoy as a family. An excellent idea would be a scrapbook. And it doesn't cost a lot of money either. Buy a plain scrapbook from a crafts store, and fill it with photos and quotes and other miscellaneous tidbits that apply to your parents. Parents love stuff like that. :-)

I am a cutter and my friends all say i should stop and blah blah blah... BUT I DONT WANT TO!!! And i think someone told my Guidance Couselor and i dont know what to do...? Should i deny all or what?

People who cut is one thing. People who cut and come for guidance online is another. If you have come to this website, you acknowledge that you have a problem. And if online advice columnists you have never met are the only people who you can talk to it about, then you have a serious problem. If this isn't some stupid cry for attention and you seriously do cut yourself, I highly suggest you seek professional help. Real professional help.

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard this question, I would be able to buy Hawaii. You can't make someone like you. And it would be pretty stupid if you could. You should find a guy that does like you and take things on from there. Chasing a guy that doesn't like you is only going to get you hurt.

Well, he said he might. This means that he may ask you or he may not ask you. Might is an indecisive word. Now if he said it in a happy tone then that is probably a good sign but asking an online advice columnist to tell you whether some guy I've never met before is going to ask you to homecoming is a bit ridiculous. You would probably know better than any of us here.

Hey I'm 14/m and i still haven't ever kissed a girl outside my family.... I feel kinda out of place here because I'm already in high school and ive never kissed.... is there something wrong with me?

Dude, there is nthoign wrong with you at all. I personally did not recieve my first kiss until I was 18. Just wait until you meet that girl who is really worth it. :-)

I know this is weird...but how do you speak gibberish? In most of the classes, when the girls are all talking about something serious, they start to speak in gibberish to piss off the teachers/guys. I don't know what they're saying but I want to learn so I will know it, so can anyone tell me how to speak it?

Gibberish is not a language. There is no technical or correct way to speak or to write it. Gibberish is a term used for when a bunch of words are put together and they don't make sense, or the words are construed and pronounced weirdly and incorrectly and are difficult or impossible to understand.

Quite frankly you are an idiot. Not only have you, if your post for attention can be considered valid, started doing damage to your own body for no apparent reason what-so-ever, but you have come to an internet counseling service for help with it. And you are only 13. There is a serious problem with that. I suggest you start going to some counseling. Professional counseling.

My semi formal is the same night as my Dad's dinner for winning employee of the year. I didnt go to my semi formal last year and a boy that I really like might ask me to the semi.. What do you guys think I should do? ( They're at the same times too!!)

You sahould go to your father's dinner. He is your father, and will always be your father. He is more important than a high school boy. However, there are alternatives that you can take if you like this boy so much. You can explain to him that you can't go to the semi because fo your dad's dinner, but that you would like to see him on a date some time. Or, you could possibly even take him to your father's dinner! But either way, don't ditch your father. He won Employee of the Year, which is probably very hard to earn, and you should be there to support him in his achievement.

That is very mature of you. It is perfectly all right not to want to kiss your boyfriend after a only a week-a week is not long enough to get to know a person at all. You should only kiss when you are good and ready. :-)

Recently, i found my dad constantly going to chatrooms and talking to random ppl like he likes them better than my mom. every day he would be doing this but once my mom got home, he would close out of them. i dont know what to do. my brother knows about it too, but i dont know if i should tell my mom. please help....:(

If he is just chatting right now, it isn't exactly a threat to your parent's relationship. However, if it grows into something more, it can become very dangerous, and I highly suggest that you talk things over with your mother before that happens. It is always good to contain situations like this instead of ignoring them because they can escalate and become worse very quickly.

Ok heres the deal ...
I got a fone going in to ninth grade my moms old fone its so old it doesnt even have games( and new ones cant be downloade) but my sister just went into ninth grade and my mom said she was going to get her old phone ( tyhe one she got new when i got mine) but when we got to the verizion place ... my sister came home with a brand new camera fone!! i just bought a car and i need the hands free kit ( new your state law) but my stupid fone is so old they dont sell the kits any more!! i asked my mom if i could buy a new fone with my own money and she told me no ! Its not fair that my sister gets a new fone fully paid for but im not even allowed to buy my own !! Its not even that i want the best ... i just want something new so that i can hook it up into my car! Ive tried every thing i can think of and please dont say talk to her cause it never works !

First off, the word is PHONE. And if you jsut got a car, shouldn't you be happy with your car? Why do you need a new cell phone as well? I think you should appreciate what you have instead of wanting more and more. The world is not a fair place, and you should get used to it.

What is the best kind of RAM to get for a computer. I have a AMD Athlon processor, 40G, 240 RAM computer. I want to put another strip of RAM into it because its been running slow. I think its the longest standard RAM you can get, but i dont know how many pins it is. Give me all the information you can about this please.

RAM is not measured in number of pins. There are two types of RAM: SD and DD. SD RAM has three different sections(you can see where each section begins and ends by looking at the bottom of the RAM-they are divided by gaps) while DD RAM has 2. Most computers now are equiped with SD RAM, but you should check to see which you have before going out and buying some.

Sometimes, I'd say about once a month, I'll wake up unable to move or speak, all I'll be able to control is my eyes. During this time I can't control my breathing either, my body is still in automatic mode. After about 10-30 secs of focusing on moving a single part of my body, I'll be able to move my entire body again. My mom who's a psych student says that I wake up during a certain stage of REM sleep; though I'd like another opinion. Has anyone been through this, or does anyone have any insight as to what this is?

During REM(Rapid Eye Movement) sleep stages, the body does indeed remain paralyzed. This si to prevent the body from reacting physically during dreams to avoid harm while sleeping. So if you were to wake during a REM period, it would be logical that you would be paralyzed.

Well, at the age of 14 you really shouldn't be giving head in the first place much less telling people about it. Keep this in mind for the future to avoid further similar incidents. As for right now, the people below are answerrign rather immaturely, and punching someone who calls you a slut is only going to get you into bigger trouble. Just don't take the words to heart and let it die down. Teenagers have the attention span of flies. They will find someone else to pick on rather quickly.

Homecoming dance is in two weeks, but this year the girls are suposed to ask the guys.. Soooo this girl who i like a lot hadn't asked me yet, so i said yes to a good friend of mine who didnt have a date. Then the next night on the phone the girl who I really liked asked me, and i had to say no because i didnt want to ditch my friend. What can i do???

You have two options. You can go with your friend or you can go with the girl. I personally think you goign with your friend is the right thing to do, since she is the one who asked first, and you agreed to be there for her when she needed you. Now, what you can do is explain to the girl you like that you already have a date to the hoemcoming dance and she is just a friend, but you are still interested in dating her and you can set something up. Homecoming is not the only date in the world.

well he said he wanted to met me on the cornor of my road well I went but he didn't show until 12:12am, Then he wanted to make out I didn't and I left Did I do the right thing?

From this viewpoint it seems as if you have indeed done the right thing. If he was cheating on you and then wanted to meet up with you only to make out with you, then he was really not worth yor time. I applaud you on your actions.
