TheGovernor answered Wednesday September 15 2004, 7:26 pm: Quite frankly you are an idiot. Not only have you, if your post for attention can be considered valid, started doing damage to your own body for no apparent reason what-so-ever, but you have come to an internet counseling service for help with it. And you are only 13. There is a serious problem with that. I suggest you start going to some counseling. Professional counseling. [ TheGovernor's advice column | Ask TheGovernor A Question ]

The question is: WHY are you cutting yourself? Are you stressed? Worried? What is it? Is there a problem in your life that is turning you into a cutter? Ask yourself those questions and think about the answers. Think long and hard. You NEED to go get help. I hope I helped you, and I hope you make good choices.
unreachable answered Wednesday September 15 2004, 6:05 pm: DO NOT CONTINUE. Cutting is really bad because you could cut a vain or something, and it really messes you up. You NEED to get help, either tell your parents or some adult you feel comfortable with and they will help you out. If you won't tell your parents, then maybe a close friend could help you out, one that you can trust not to tell anyone else, and you can tell them about your problem. To replace cutting, put a rubber band around your wrist, and when you feel liek cutting yourself, just snap it. If you need to talk to anyone, you could get therapy or talk to a school counseler. I know you don't HAVE to tell anyone, but stopping a bad habit like this is hard to do alone. good luck and take care! [ unreachable's advice column | Ask unreachable A Question ]
Tori_Dori answered Wednesday September 15 2004, 6:04 pm: My advice..don't continue cutting yourself. My friend hates his life..and he started cutting himself...he eventually went farther than that and tried to commit suicide 2 times. The third time he tried, he ended up very injured, and was sent to the hospital. See, my point is..he got so addicted to it, he wanted to do more. So, for your safety, don't continue. Hope I helped!

You should not continue on cutting for my advice. And if you try to cut again just think of something else or do something else but cutting is not worth it believe me one of my friends used to cut and it went and messed her up so please dont do it

Sherry answered Wednesday September 15 2004, 5:58 pm: Should you continue cutting yourslef? No. But its not that easy, so if you really cant stop yourself from doing it your gonna have to tell an adult/close friend that could help you. [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
