What You Can Do To Help A Depressed Or Suicidal Friend.
Listen to your friend with concern.
Ask your friend if he ever felt this bad before. If so, how did he handle the situation?
Share a time when you felt pretty bad and assure your friend that things can and will change.
Be especially concerned if your friend takes drugs and/or alcohol because their judgement is impaired.
Ask if your friend has suicidal thoughts.
Let your friend know that many people think about suicide but never actually attempt it.
Give your friend a hotline number and make sure your friend calls.
Stay with a depressed person. Do something together.
If your friend is suicidal and refuses to get help, tell a responsible adult as soon as possible.
Make specific plans to see your friend the next day.

I was on the 7th and 8th grade basketball team for middle school and I got alot of playing time but I dont think Im that good. I dont thin i should tri-out for high School my school is really into basketball and i just want to have fun. I like basketball but i dont thin its my sport i think volleyball is. Today the discharge in my underwear had a yellowish brown tint to it. Some parts of it looked kinda red. This is the first time this has happened. Is this my period coming or should I worry. Alright, so, as it's probably helpful to know a little info about me, I'm 16, female. And I'm in love, I know it, I can feel it's true just as surely as I know that 2 x 2 = 4. I find myself having a whole new perspective, a whole new outlook, on life. I realize that whatever happens, it's going to be alright, because I'll have someone there by my side who I can trust with anyone, and we can be there for eachother through whatever happens. (btw, Thanks to anyone who answered my previous question, the answers have helped me realize that going to seperate colleges, while tough, is something we can handle.) Now, I know he loves me, and he talks as though whatever happens, we'll always be there for eachother, but am I doing the right thing? I mean, there doesn't seem to be a doubt in my mind about this, or him, or whether this is the real deal. But I feel like I should just step back and take one more look, I mean, I'm 16, and this isn't something that usually happens at this age. Any thoughts?
well im 17 and i know exactly what your going through. I always thought am i making the right decision saying that i lvoe this man? we havea hd many rough times but its made me realize even more how much im in love with him then i even thought. but i realized i love him and if he loves me we will stay true to each other and wait till were older to get married and we are going to seprate colleges but we promise to go visit each other all the time when ever possible.

ohk so im going to be getting an ipod, it holds 1,000 songs but my question is lets say for example i have 225 songs on my ipod & im getting sick of 5 songs can i delete them so there for i would have 220 songs left?
yes you can but you have to do it through your computer delete them then attatch it to the usb port connector. its a very usful advice i love my iPod to death

Ok well I'm about to take my driving test for the third time. If I fail it one more time I have to pay $300 for lessons or wait till I'm 18. So I'm getting a little nervous about it. So does anyone have any tips for passing my test?
study!!! very where you go bring your drivers ed course book. ask your parents to quiz you, ask friends to quiz you, eat drink and sleep that book!!! thats how i got mine,!!!!!!

SWEll what i recomend is that you might high light it with a color about 2 shades lgither to about 6 shadeslighter to your hair color

So me & this guy were going out.. it had been going great and all but his ex girlfriends were real bitches!! but anyways.. so we ended up braking up because he got suspended and got grounded for the whole summer. He's usually aloud to go to his best friends house (dont ask me why) even if hes grounded but he couldnt even go there.. so we decided to brake up. but see the thing is that about a week into summer (we broke up about a week before school ended) he was able to go to his friends house again. and about three days after that he wasnt grounded anymore.. i saw him at the carnival all over his ex girlfriend (the bitchy one) but he calls me once and a while(we were friends before we went out) but it just seems like i was someone to try and get over his ex and not someone who he really cared about. is he a jerk.. or what?
Well most guys, after they brake up with someone, they try to avoid there feelings by trying to be manly and flirt with a nother girl.
so hes acting like a jerk but if you really talked to him for like and hour or more then you would find out whats really going on

OK i like this guy, Jesse. And everyone who knows him keeps saying he likes you he likes you, but like i can see it i just like cant believe it you know? well anyways, Jesse is really nice, like we met abut a week & 1/2 ago and stuff but like we really hit it off and stuff. WEll it turns out he has a girlfriend, Bethaniee. and i know his girlfriend too. well his girl friend keeps being a little suspicious about me talking to him and hanging out with him cause the last time we hung out it was at my friend Faye's house and we were sitting in her hot tub half of the day talking about random stuff. and i dont know how Bethaniee found out we were in the hot tub but nothing happend so anywys like we were talking on aim and he imed me and we started talkin. then all out of the blue he asked for my cell number. i gave it to him and he called me 5 minutes later. we talked for like 2 hours. Then at like 1 last night he called me and we talked for an hour and stuff then my dad came in and said get off the phone so i hung up on him . then he texted me saying "are u ok?" and "im sorry i got you in trouble" i know i like him but i can't admit it to my friends cause there all like do you like him and i didnt at first but like know i really do.

well tomorrow i'm going to the doctors for a check up and i'm 14/f and last time i went they looked down my pants and i think its VERY preverted! ( is that normal for most doctors to do?) is there a way i can stop them??

It is normal for the doctor to do that. Every so often more like once or twice a year the have to do that to see if your developing "nicely" as they put it. But when you get older or you become sexually active you have to go see an ob-gyn which will seem so much more worse. but dont worry and there isnt anyway to get them to stopp im very sorry

not From my experience but a friends, im telling you that it does hurt to get it done around your belly button. She was screaming so loud that you could hear it outside. But then again tattoo's hurt where ever you get them Cause i have 3. A frog on my lower back, a small rose on the inside of my left hip, and this one hurt the most, an imperfect star on the bottom of my wrist

I just got accepted 2 a very good school for advanced studies. In the coming year I want 2 Stay focused. Does any1 have tips for staying on top of grades?
Study non stop, memorize, don't go to parties, and try to stay away from sleep overs but you can still attend very few.

okay well me and my boyfriend were going out for 5 years and then he proposed, and well we were gonna get married but some stuff happened and we made each other really mad so we broke up. so then he got a girlfriend and they got married. so i wasnt that upset because i had a boyfriend. and we went to my xboyfriends house to see it, because we dont hate each other. and then i was mad when i saw the house because it was the one i'd been looking at for like ever. so my boyfriend and his wife were inside and i was outside getting some air and he came out and he was turning the sprinklers on, and i walked up and asked him what his problem was and he fliped out on me and was saying how my boyfriend doesnt love me and hes only with me because im hott. then i got upset and my boyfriend drove me back to where we lived at a camp. so i told everyone [family + friends that live there] and they got mad at him. and he showed up 2 days later and told everyone that he still loved me and all that. so then my boyfriend proposed to me and i didnt know what was wrong, i said no. i told him i loved him and everything but i still had feeling for my xboyfriend. so i went to walmart ((idk why)) and i saw him there. and i asked him if he still loved me why he got married. nd he said cuz he wanted me to feel the pain he put me through. so i told everyone at home that we were back together and now theyre all mad..did i really do anything that bad?
But if he's married, how are you back together. Anyways, from what i read other then he is married you didnt do any thing that bad.

ok so ive had a crush on this guy since my freshmen year (Kyle). And then i find out from a friend (Jason) that Kyle's intrested in me too, and he thinks i am cute, has a good personality.. blah blah blah.
