Plus, your domain name won't be something hard to remember, it will just be something like yoursite.tripod.com. I use it, and I've never had a problem. If you have experience using html, you can do it on tripod, and if you have no experience, you can use flash and their blog builder. Hope this helps.

Maybe you know some HTML; maybe you don't, but there's lots to learn even if you do know some. There are a lot of free sites that teach HTML, so I suggest you do a google search on that.
I don't recommend geocities, mainly because they have that ugly advertisement.
I don't know any sites that have a "site builder" so if you need one, I can't really help you. But if you're willing to learn HTML and use FTP and all that, read on. Everything is on the internet, so if you ever need help on HTML or FTP or something, just search it on google. I promise you even though it might get complicated or frustrating, it will DEFINITELY pay off in the end, and you'll be glad you didn't stick with a "site builder".
If you want an EXCELLENT webhost, follow this link and read the page:

askmex3 answered Monday July 25 2005, 5:21 pm: xanga and livejournal are awesome sites but they dont let you set up an actual website with sub-pages and things like that, they are more for a diary type of thing!
..but for a regualr website you should try freewebs or tripod! they dont have a place for comments however they usually have a type of guestbook!
and we cant forget about myspace..it combines a little bit of both!
GossipGirl56 answered Monday July 25 2005, 4:01 pm: Well i use, xanga, and myspace. Those are both for free. I think you will like those cuz i know i do!
