Q: are chi straightners good? like really good? i'm trying to find a new straightner for this school year. i'm free for experimenting but i have to use my own money so i want some backround information before i buy it. and what's the average cost?

oh, and if there are better straightners that are like out-of-this-world (and under 40 dollars please), i'd like to hear about them too. so far i used conair and remington but they're not working as well as i was looking for.

Hey my sister bought one last year. It's called "MaxiGlide" i'm sure you've seen the commercials for them. They're like and hour long lol. But they are REALLY good!! My sister has natural curly hair and when she straightens it it looks like she's a natural straight hair. It's about one hundred something dollars. But I definetly think it's really good.

It's very normal to get shy. You just need to act like they are your closest friends. Like if you just go up to a guy you shouldn't care what anybody else thinks. You know that saying, "Why go through life unnoticed?" Who knows? You may make new friends and maybe even a b/f :)

Q: ok well my boyfriend and i have been going out for allmost 4 weeks and i dont get to see him that much cuz i met him at this camp but he calls me everyday. the last time he called was tuesday and i have tried calling him but he hasnt answered. well yesterday i was tlaking to a friend online (he is friends with my boyfriend) and he said that they were tlkaing and he mentioned that he wanted to break up. well they talked last week on monday and i talked to him on the fone after that conversation. I dont know what to do...i tried calling im like everyday every minute but i dont know if hes really not there or avoiding the calls and if and wen i do et a hold of him...what should i say? please help...thanx

Hey I remember I did this to a guy once. I felt really guilty but I didnt know how to break up with him like I didnt want to hurt his feelings. So i just avoided his calls. Which was really worse because I should have just broken up with him. So this guys PROBABLY avoiding your calls. Sorry girl. It happens. He's probably found someone at school (closer to him) that he likes. Long distance relationships are really hard to keep going because you can't see the person a lot and you can't go out or anything. So if he thinks you should break up well sorry. Try finding someone local. But Cheer up you can hang with your girls and spot cutiies. :)

okay well for a long time now (about 4-5 months) i have been telling my parents and my grandmother that i need like a counselor or something i used to have one before and my mom made me stop going because she didnt like the idea that someone was telling her she was wrong for some things. so what do i do if my parents wont help me and my grandmother wont either?

Q: I need a new dresser so my mom showed me a really cool site with lots of inexpensive furniture. She said that if I want a new dresser, I'd have to sell some of my old stuff on the same site. Here's the dilemma: I found a couch and a chair on this site that are $150 for both! They're made out of denim, and that's the theme for my room. I have about $120 so my mom would only have to lend me $30 and pick it up for me (it's only 20-30 minutes away). She said no and that I need to focus on the dresser. What should I do? Someone else will buy them soon.

Well why can't you sell some of the junk you don't need. "One person's garbage is another person's treasure!" So pick stuff maybe you used when you were smaller but you dont use it anymore. And sell that online for money. Or try to make money other ways. Like chores around the house or do some babysitting. Hope I helped.

ok . I have this guy friend and were close and we hang out alot. he brought one of his friends to the mall. and after the mall, me and his friend kinda liked each other. well he liked me alot and im like sorta. but then we started hanging out alot....so now we both like each other alot. and...he has a girlfriend. were kinda mutal friends. and everytime we went to the movies he would be like kiss me and id be like no you have a girlfriend and hes like im gonna break up with her. and im like i dont think thats a good idea. Ok well he just broke up with her and now hes I/M'ing me saying who do you like? and im like im not sure and hes like not me huh and im like idn. Okk. i really like him and i want to go out with him. Yes..theres another problem. someone told his ex that we were like flirting alot and stuff. and shes kinda my friend. so now if i go out with him shell imediatly believe the rumors are true. Most of the rumors are a little true but i didnt kiss him and everyone thinks i did.
so do you guys think i should just wait for a while untill there break up is completly over and shes dating someone else to go out with him. but what if he doesnt want to wait. should i tell him that i just want to wait to go out cause of his ex. hed probably understand.

This is a toughy. But if you really like him you should go out with him. If the girl doesn't understand when you try to tell her what happened before you went out with him then you probably need to let her go out with another guy before you guys talk again That way she's less likely to hold a grudge (although some people hold grudges still so goodlucK!). But seriously if you like someone then you shouldn't care what other people think. And if you flirted at the mall you didnt know he had a gf yet anyways and at least you tried to stop from kissing him because of his gf so everybody should give you that instead of making up rumors but not everybody is like that. So just go out with him if you really like him.

I would definetly say some guys like shy girls better than more outgoing girls. Because they like the mystery. So if you're shy it's okay guys will like you too. Some guys find more outgoing girls to be annoying.

Q: Ok well my bestfriend, she was like my bestfriend ever & like now I just feel like shes replacing me with one of her other friends. cause she used to be like a sister to me and now like we barley talk & i tried to talk to her about it & ask her if she was trying to replace me and she even said i dont know. it really hurts and i was like crying for a while trying to think everything over & i just dont know what to do cause i love her shes like my sister & i deffently dont wanna stop being friends with her. I dont know what to do to make her understand cause talking to her wont work? any other sugjestions? =/

maybe she is nicely letting you know that she doesn't want to be "REALLY tight" anymore. I mean being her friend was way cool but maybe she's moved on. Im not trying to be mean but I'm just giving you the brutal honest truth. You should ask her if she wants to stay friends but not bestiies. If she says yes start finding other friends. Sometimes these things happen for a reason. Maybe somebody out there needs a good friend and that could be you. So if she's decided to move on there's no need to cry about it. Yes, it's sad but you should move on too. Find another best friend. I'm not saying you should completely replace her. You guys should still try to hang out or talk online. But make other friends. :) Hope you find lots of friends!

Q: i have a friend who has scary dreams..really scary dreams and he told me about one that one of his close family member got cut and the next day found a cut on her arm.hes really getting scared and doesnt want to tell anyone else about this ive told him to tell a parent but hes only told me.and i dont kno how to help him ive told him all i kno about telling somone who can help but he doesnt want to.

This could be a special talent. He shouldn't hide it. I don't really believe in psychics (however you spell that!) but you never know. He could be but just in dreams. So if something really bad happens in a dream to someone he knows or loves he should definetly tell someone! You should keep trying to get him to tell. You're being a good friend :)

Q: ok well i was talking to my friend on aim last night and well first i was like are you mad at me shes like no i was like oh ok then shes like why and i said well you haven't taalked to me in almost 3 weeks then shes like oh well i was at my dads and i know she wasn't at her dads that long but anyways i was like ok at shes like were you mad at me and so i told her wh6y i was mad and stufff and i'm mad cuz her and her boyfriend i know hang out almost everyday and talk on the phone half the day and i get to see or hang out with her maybe every 2 weeks so her boyfriend hates me because they broke up awhile ago but their back together and her thinks i broke them up so he won't hang out with me. she basically told me that since he hates me and i hate him back because he hates me she won't be my friend anymore i am being unreasonable tht i want to spend maybe once a week or at least talk to her once a week with her??Should i try to be her friend??

It doesn't matter if he's there. You should have fun like you planned to do before he broke up with you. You shouldn't let him get in the way. And you should just say hi to him there and pretend it doesn't matter. Act nice but in a friendly way. Kay if you need any more help stop by my advice column!

Q: Okay like over a year ago i taped all these pictures on my wall like 200 or so.. && i took them off && the wall looks awful..Painting isn`t an option && i don`t know what to do && to put those pictures back up would take a LONG time. I don`t really have money for posters.. So if you have any ideas please help.. Its horrible && i hate it..I doubt theres much to do but i just thought i`d give it a shot;;
ALso i have tons && tons of construction paper maybe i can put that up && then like draw or write on it..I can do grafitti good so maybe that would be okay..

Ummm you wouldn't really have to buy "these posters" because you could go in a random magazine and sometimes they have posters. So you take them out and tape them on the wall. That's what i've done. :)

Q: is there anyway to download an .mp3 url and save it onto your computer?

yeah there is you can either save target as or you can copy the url and go to windows media player and click file = open url and paste the url in there...then click file and save when it starts playing. Hope I helped.

Q: I'm 13 and obviously female and this afternoon I started getting cramps. At first I thought it was just a stomach ache and maybe I ate too much, but it felt kind of different. My mom suggested that I was going to get my period soon, and I already had boobs, hair on my body, and discharge. 3 hours later, when I went to the bathroom I noticed a big dried up brownish spot on my underwear. There wasn't alot of it but it wasn't liquid. Could this be my period? I don't know because people tell me the very first time you get your period you dont have cramps and you don't get cramps until like the 2nd or 3rd time. I didn't feel any blood coming out either. Not to gross you out, but in a way it looks like dried up poop but in a really light brown color.

Definetly sounds like your period. Ummm i have some tips for cramps because i got mine over 2 years ago and im 13 now so i guess im lucky (not haha). Anyways, you should use a heating pad. This kind of makes it better but to some people it doesnt seem to work. Also, try not to take hot showers. And get midol or just take tylenol for cramps. And if its hurting really bad you should get exercise...try doing some pilates (i know that sounds really horrible but it really helps). It stretches your body. Kay hope i helped.

Q: ok so lately a lot of people have been talking about a show or movie called high school musical. what is it about? is it like grease or something? i've never even heard of it but people around school seem to know all about the thing. what tv station is it on too?

Yeah its like a modernday grease but a little bit different. Because in the movie they are trying out for the drama play and it's completely unnormal for the school so it's hard for the entire school to accept them tryingo out for it. Yeah thats bascially it but it's an AWESOME movie.
