chi straightners?

Question Posted Friday July 28 2006, 6:20 pm

are chi straightners good? like really good? i'm trying to find a new straightner for this school year. i'm free for experimenting but i have to use my own money so i want some backround information before i buy it. and what's the average cost?

oh, and if there are better straightners that are like out-of-this-world (and under 40 dollars please), i'd like to hear about them too. so far i used conair and remington but they're not working as well as i was looking for.

thanks a bunch!

Hey my sister bought one last year. It's called "MaxiGlide" i'm sure you've seen the commercials for them. They're like and hour long lol. But they are REALLY good!! My sister has natural curly hair and when she straightens it it looks like she's a natural straight hair. It's about one hundred something dollars. But I definetly think it's really good.

yes chis are awsome.... thats what i have... they last for a really long time.. and straighten your hair in noooo time... but the downside is they are expensive... around 120... but they are extreem miracle workers.. they will straighten even the curliest of curly hair

Chi is really exspensive, like 100
$ and more maybe. I use hot tools. Its really good they are about 60. If you want one under 40 its not gonna be to good of qauility, and will fry your hair. I have a hot tools ceramic(you wanna make sure you get ceramic no matter what is much better for your hair) and i have used it for 2 years and my hair is fine and it works great.

Dude, Remington Wet2Straight flat iron is perfect. You can straighten your hair while it's wet, and it causes less damage than blow drying and then straightening your hair. It makes it really shiny too. Mine was thirty dollars, and I love it.
I think you should go purchase one right now. Seriously, I used my friends Chi flat iron and I didn't like it at all.

Ah, Chi's are SO good, but pricey. Mine cost 160 dollars, the price is probably lower now but idk. Anyway, Hot Tools are SO good, as well. And they're usually exactly 40 dollars, here's a page of all the kinds Hot Tools has [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) Good luck! :]

Well today i just bought a ion. thats the brand. i think its new. it was 80$ though. i got it at sallys beauty supply. and ive been using vidal sassoon , there is 2 colors black with gold plates. and white with gold plates. you can get them at walgreens or anywhere i guess. they are 20$ but omg they work so good. i used to have ceramic but that dont work good , and it cost 50$ which i also got at sallys. but vidal sasson works really well if you are looking for something cheap. if you can afford the ion then thats what i would suggest deff.

hope i helped!! :]
