haha ok so one of my friends & i are always messin with each other and "arguing" and crap basically just throwin comebacks out. i need some more though. some good clever ones. so far i got -- dont sing it, bring it ; break out the butter cuz you jus got toasted ; & want some crackle & pop with that snap?. haha yeah lame but they work. anyone have more cute ones like that? It's probably Herpes, you can get it in your throat and there is no treatment yet. Meaning, you'll have that for the rest of your life until there's a cure :( I know, it stinks. Since you're 18, you can do it without your parents knowing but they'll probably find out, you may want to tell them. But you'd think you would've gotten the STD before then. It may just be a regular soar throat. Watch the movie Girl Posi+ive, it's on Lifetime June 25th. It's about a girl who gets an STD for having sex, it looks really good. It's on Lifetime, I think it's at 9. Or 8 or something.

FYI: I am a 20 year-old recent college grad. Both men I am referring to in this question are only slightly older than me and finishing their degrees.
"Joe" and I began dating 2 1/2 years ago. Our relationship was generally good when last summer (1 1/2 years in)he decided that he didn't want a serious girlfriend. Nothing mean or ugly, he was just being honest. I tried all summer to change his mind but finally gave. (We remained close friends.)
After dating around for a little while, I began seeing "Michael". Our relationship was somewhat rocky because we had both come out of relationships and he had been hurt many times before. During this time, Joe began to develop interest in having a relationship. I thought it over and eventually decided to try things again with Joe. (I stayed in close contact with Michael.)
Joe and I have a really easygoing relationship, but he refuses to discuss a more serious commitment. When we discuss it, he says he doesn't see us going in that direction at this point but is always careful to avoid losing me entirely. In the past few months, Michael has attempted to see other people to no avail. He is convinced that I am the only one for him. We have been getting along beatuifully, and Michael has done everything he to prove to me that we belong together. (Both are fully aware of each other and the current status.)
Michael wants me to leave Joe and become engaged to him. (He's even looking at rings.) I am seriously considering this. I love both men very much (in somewhat different ways) and could she myself happily married to either (in 2-5 years). The difference here is that Michael is willing to commit and Joe is not. Both have treated me very well; although Michael is romantic (flowers) while Joe is considerate (fixs my car). Is there any point in continuing to wait for Joe or should I leave him and accept the proposal from Micheal?
Now you have to decide what your heart's telling & what your mind's telling you. My guess is -- your mind is telling you to go with the guy who can provice a bright future for you. But your heart is telling you if it's not the same guy you love, then go with the other. Sounds like Joe only wants you because he can't have you. He got jealous when Michael came into the picture, but ignore him. Can you see yourself building a future with a guy who can't even discuss commitment with you? No. Can you see yourself building a future with a guy who is romantic, willing to commit, and respects you? Yes. You can, easily. Go for the gold, don't settle for silver. So tell me... who's the gold and who's the silver? You're gonna have to dig deeper to find out. You can't tell if treasure's underneath the ground unless you dig to find it. Get to know both of them a little better and find out which one makes your heart beat faster. Simple as that.

ok I shaved some of my pubic hair [i'm a girl and 13] once with a razor just to see what it would be like, and i THINK i used either shaving cream or soap but it was probably soap. it's so thick and coarse! like if a shave a patch off you can see the hair under my skin so thick and about to grow in, and when its all shaved down there it looks like little black lines under my skin. If you have continued to read this w/o getting grossed out, you are a special person I can tell you that. What is a way I can shave where it will be nice and smooth down there?
Stay away from Hair Removers! They burn the hair off and it's bad for your skin.
Your best bet is to use Skintimate Shaving Cream. You should go with unscented incase you have an allergic reaction, make sure you REALLY lather up down there and shave carefully and slowly.
I've tried soap -- it's terrible... I know. It leaves your skin feeling dry, itchy, and just plain dirty. And it doesn't shave all the hair. The shaving cream really does help!
Try another razor. I use Daisy, but you could try a special one. That could help you out :)

You can if you want to, but there are a few setbacks. Like ingrown hairs, and boils. But that can happen anywhere you shave, so yeah...
just don't use a hair remover. They burn the hair off, that's not good for your skin.

I totally agree with Volleyball2150, you should NEVER change yourself! You're a little overweight. I'm sorry, no offense. I think it's partly the clothes you're wearing though, sweetheart. If you wore like capris and maybe a different top you'd look great ;) I would guess you weight around like... 145lbs? I don't mean to hurt your feelings, I really don't. Well I don't really think anyone has the exact percentage, after all... how ridiculous would they sound running around interviewing people saying, "We're taking a survey. Do you masturbate?" It'd sound like a joke. Most do, some don't. I don't masturbate, but I used to. It's only healthy to some extent, but if you're Catholic then don't because it's against the religion. You're not supposed to experience the pleasure unless you're creating life. I personally, don't see a whole lot wrong with it, but there's some. However, if you do it too much (it's addicting, and yes; it's normal) it can overwork your sex hormones -- which is bad. I think most everybody tries it because they're curious. But you know... there are better things to life :)

i've been wondering about this.. i mean im a kid myself, 13, and like i see all these older people that complain about little things they dont like about themself. those people go on to makeover shows, shows where they change their wardrobe and stuff (what not to wear), and even get plastic surgery. now im really against plastic surgery.. unless for medical reasons, but anyways im wondering why kids cant say they are ugly in a way, too. adults think its soo wrong when kids say that when they do it too! and why arent there any kid/teen makeover shows too? i mean i think theres some for teens, but why not preteens or people around my age? that would be cool.. and some people dont think thats right, then why is it right for adults to do it too? now im not saying plastic surgery or anything for the kids, but like.. you know makeover stuff that could improve their confidence and stuff.
its really annoying in other ways cause like theres no tv shows about kids my age that arent like cheesy or anything. why are they so cheesy? and why do they all wear make up when not alot of kids even use make up that much. like in hannah montana.. their make up looks so professional.. yeah like any kid that age could do that everyday. and in that and other shows they always have alot of different cool outfits and stuff when thats not really how it is in real life.. well for some people but not alot of people. why are tv shows like this? i watch some of them anyways but if something different came out i'd like it. oh and the show on MTV called Made, why is it only highschoolers. i'd like to see an episode with someone from middle school or something.. and more shows about middle schoolers than high school high school high school. blechhh.

I know, it's crazy. After all, ADULTS are setting an example for us and we're the future. If we think of ourselves in a bad way, the future will be a wreck next generation -- but it's not our fault -- not theirs either, really. I'm not against people who get it, but I'm against the action itself. I think they freak out when they hear we have low self esteem because we're so young and we don't even know who we are yet, that if we're in this mindset now it'll just get worse. But, we wouldn't think this if maybe the adults had a positive attitude about themselves. We look up to the adults, they help us in the world. No, there are no make-over shows for kids because we've barely filled out our looks and it's unhealthy at such a young age. They put make-up on Hannah Montana because it's T.V. -- and they do that to babies too, so you can relax about that -- it's just show biz. I put on just as much make-up as she does, but I think it's really the level of skill and patience someone has to get it to look the way they want. They put HOURS of make-up on Hannah. But notice, in magazines where they show pictures of Miley Cyrus there isn't nearly as much make-up on her as there is on her in the show. MTV won't do middle-schoolers probably because of a contract, and that channel is mostly viewed by highschoolers. It's nothing against us. I know, we're aliens, right? But trust me sweetheart, if you don't understand my answer now... it will come together.

Wow, 50 times a day is A LOT. That's unhealthy physically for your body because you're wearing out your sex hormones. Too much is bad for your social life, family life, and a lot of other things. If you cancel invites from your friends just to masturbate... well... you've gone too far. People will get suspicious of what you're doing in your room 50 times a day, don't you think? You'd better stop, do a little research on this, and cut back to like twice a day (long sessions if necessary) before your parents or siblings catch you, or it gets so bad you need to see a counselor or it interferes with your life.

Trust is the basic foundation of a relationship; without it, you're building on nothing so whatever you're building with him will fall apart. You don't have to trust him, you don't have to want him, you don't have to need him. Who says you even have to have a relationship? I know I wouldn't like to be in a relationship with a guy that tells other girls he wants to fuck them, even if you were broken up. It's unclassy, rude, untrustworthy, trashy, and a perfect example of betrayal. You and I both know you deserve better, sweety. There are tons of guys out there that are so much easier to trust that you can fall in love with before you can say "We're breaking up." to your current boyfriend. If you get into that many fights, next time he says he wants you back you don't even have to talk. Just use sign language ;) You know... the finger? Haha, just kidding. But anyways, there's nothing you can make yourself do to trust him. It's something he has to earn, and this is natural for you to feel since you two have broken up so much. Right before I go to bed I go to the restroom. Then right as I lay down I feel the urge to go again, but when I go nothing happens. No matter how many times I use the restroom I still fell like I have to go. I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. During the day I don't have this problem, it's only when I'm tired and want to go to bed.
Could I have an over active bladder problem or what? Should I see this doctor about this? It's so annoying and I'm sick of dealing with it.
I've had this happen to me probably about twice in my life, but it went away on its own. But I wouldn't let it, if you've had it for a while it may turn into something bigger -- don't want that. Contact a doctor and talk to your mom about this, she just may know what it is and how to deal with it before you have to schedule an appointment, but just the same... I reccomend a doctor just to be sure if you feel the need.

well, i've known this guy for awhile but recently we started talking. we hung out for the first time in school Friday and likee were all close bcause he was saying how he doesn't want any hookups anymore and wants to get into a serious relationship and he said he thinks i'm the right girl. It doesn't necessarily mean something went wrong. He could be busy for a few days, you never truly know the other end of the line sometimes, like in this case. I sent an e-mail to one of my best guy friends who I liked at the time MONTHS AGO - yet he never replied. He never IMs me anymore either. Not sure if he's scared, but maybe I never WILL know. But if he really wants to talk to me he'll find a way to, and I know that. Eventually he'll wing it. He supposedly used to like me in 6th grade, but he transfered. If we were meant to keep in touch, we would've. End of story. No, you wouldn't really look like an idiot if you called him. I think you'd look a little desperate maybe, yeah. But not really that bad, if he calls you for a while there's nothing wrong with you calling him back, but don't be too blunt. I just suggest you wait until you're in a relationship until you call him. That's just the way I think it should be, you know? 'Cause if you're not you'll look like you're out for commitment and that's not always a good thing depending on who you're interested in. Wait for him to call, if he likes you, nothing will stop him now if he could do it then. If he's not shy, he'll call when he needs or wants to. But it's natural for you to worry about his feelings for you after all, you don't just call someone several times a day regularly then stop. It's not right. I mean - it's just odd. So if you lose touch for too long and you want to stay in touch -- call him. If you want to be mysterious but still chat -- IM him. It's better that way and he can't hear the nerves in your voice if any ;)
