what does it mean to be mobile?
whats that little cell phone type thing next to somebodys sn and what does it mean?

It means you're online on your phone. So if you IM someone you're actually texting them, in an IMing chatroom. Hope that made sense :]

It means that they're on AIM on their cell. The way they are IMing you is texting on AIM through their cell.
