Look through the code for a line that says .friendsComments{ display:none } and remove it.

If you find it in a line that says "(something here), .friendsComments , (something else here)", just remove the .friendsComments.

Why does the price of computers and other electronics drop constantly while the price of other items remains pretty much the same?

For example, computers used to cost 4 or 5 thousand dollars, but now are available for as little as 1000 (even the improved ones with lots of memory, etc.); while the price of furniture and other items remains about the same.

Computers and other electronics are constantly developed, so they become deprecated very quickly. That is, something better becomes available and they are less valuable.

Since consumer electronics are mass-produced, when something new comes out, shops usually have to get rid of the now outdated versions that they have in stock, and so they are sold at cheaper prices.

Also, improvement in production technology allows companies to produce the goods at a lower price, and so they are sold at a lower price so that more people will buy them.

Basically, if you want x, just move everything else to the other side of the equal sign.

First of all, if there is anything added to x, minus it on both sides. Similarly, if something is subtracted from x, add it to both sides.

For example, in 1), ax - c = b, so add c to both sides, and you have ax = b + c.

Now, if there is a letter in front of x, divide both sides by that number. Similarly, if x is divided by a number, multiply both sides by that.

So, continuing with the example, if ax = b + c, divide both sides by a, and now we have x = (b + c) /a.

Now try the others for yourself. Just make sure you have the orders of operation right.

How do you save a video from Youtube or Photobucket to your computer??

The easiest way is to usethis Firefox plugin:

Install that and go to the page with the video you want and click the UnPlug button. It will give you a page with the relevant links. The video should be in .flv format.

If you don't have Firefox or if you don't want the extension, right click the page and look for the link in the source code. It should start with "http://youtube.com/get_video?video_id=". Save this to your computer.

Hey, I deleted my recycly bin on accident, How do I go about bringing it back? And not a copy of the recycle bin... the actual one.
(I went to yahoo answers & they told me how to bring a copy of it back. But you can't delete the stuff that's in the recycle bin that way)

Are you sure you really deleted it? I'm pretty sure it's not possible to delete your recycle bin, at least not on Windows.

To get it back, right-click your desktop, choose "Arrange Icons By", and make sure "Show Desktop Icons" is checked.

You can also access it in Windows Explorer. Go to "My Computer", and click the "Up" button to go to your desktop. It should be there.

Connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, and click on your iPod's name. You should see a list of all the songs on your iPod. Look for the song that you want to rename. i played the game on my sister's account, and made big families and all that. she doesn't like to log into her account all the time just so I can play my sims characters.. but its too late for me to make it on my account, since I've already gotten really into the game I was playing. and she has a password on her account which she wont take off anytime soon.

so i was wondering, is there a way, like in the Sims 2 files, that I can move some files to my account, so I can play the same sims characters from there to mine? and i played with the Broke family on my sister's accoumt. is there a way I can basically switch Pleasantview from my sister's account to my account? because I made people have like relationships and all that stuff.. so I can just remove the families alone. i hope this isn't too confusing... and thanks for helping!

Login to your sister's account on the computer, then go to the "My Documents" folder. There should be a folder inside called "EA Games", and in that should be one called "The Sims 2".

The full path to that folder would be
C:\Documents and Settings\(your sister's name)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

Copy everything in there to a removable disk or a temporary location that you can access from your account.

Now log off your sister's account and login to yours, and copy all the files into your "The Sims 2" folder.

That is,
C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

Warning: by doing this, anything that's already on your account will be overwritten. If there's anything there you want to keep, copy the files in that folder to somewhere else first.

One day I was clicking around spacefem.com (or maybe it was Spacefem's LJ) and there was a link to this site, and for some reason I actually clicked it, and I saw questions that were really simple but didn't have any answers. I decided to answer them, and so I joined. I've realised that having an advice column actually suits me well, since I like to read, and on this site I can put the things that I learn to good use.

I've actually known about this site right from when it started, but I didn't join at first because I didn't think that I would have any advice to give. While this is only the 639th question that I've answered in the three years after I've joined the site (as you already know, my account turned three years old on the 7th), the 33 pages on my column clearly proved that wrong.

How well they work will depend on your original song. The second one also has a pitch control effect which is pretty cool.

School's starting soon, and I have insomnia.

On top of that, I screwed up my sleep schedule so that I can't fall asleep until at least three in the morning, and I can't seem to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Make yourself get up early in the morning and don't sleep during the day. That way, you should find it easier to sleep at night.

Make sure you get enough exercise. Going outdoors in the afternoon can be helpful too.

Avoid caffeine and sugar in the evening. If you can help it, don't use the computer in the evening either.

out of sprite, coke, & sweet tea.. which is the healthiest to drink 3 times a week?

im guessing sprite since it has no caffeine? and everyones talking about how people lose so much weight when they stop drinking soft drinks since its cutting the caffeine? so would sprite be the 'healthiest'?

Well, while too much caffeine isn't good for you, the main reason why one loses weight by not drinking soft drinks is because soft drinks contain empty calories.

Sprite doesn't have caffeine, so if caffeine is a problem for you (for example, if you have sleeping problems) then it's a better option than the other two.

However, if you're going to drink a soft drink, you might as well drink what you like. Just don't drink too much. Three times a week isn't too bad.

I read somewhere that your period stops when you are in the water? I have a very light period, so will this be true? I HATE using tampons because theyy hurt((hence my other question)) so I am just wondering if this is true or not.

Well, I have tried going swimming while on my period, and the blood doesn't come out even if I didn't use a tampon, so yes, you can do that. Just make sure you change into regular clothes and get a pad as soon as possible after you get out of the water.

Yes. For example, even if someone's profile is private, if you write on his/her wall, it will show up on your mini-feed. However, people who are not friends with the other person still can't read it.
