Okay my question is, do some guys find it NOT nasty to have sex with their partner, while they are on their period? I want to have a pet. I'm not talking about cats or dogs though. I would like a small pet that can be kept in a cage. My parents are divorced and I spend one weekend a month with my dad and would want to take the pet with me.
I'd like a fairly intelligent pet. Something that isn't too smelly would be nice. I have heard things about Chinchillas being cute but I have read plenty of times that they are very fragile. I don't want a fragile pet. Cute isn't REALLY important though.
I can do a few hours of maintenance a day with the pet so if it needs walks or playtime that is just fine with me. A friendly animal would be nice...something that could get used to being held sometimes.
My best friend suggested getting a rat but I'm not sure. What would you suggest?
guinea pigs are loads of fun, not too bad on maintenance, and almost as cool as ferrets. plus, they make cool noises, and in a pinch, are edible. I used to make mazes with cardboard for them, quite intelligent little things.
stick to mammals, not only are they easier to maintain, but also won't make people get that whole "creepy person" vibe from you. Charlie sheen once said "a chick with birds or snakes is crazy" and I concur.

During the Holocaust the Nazis took lots and lots of Jews into the death camps. I read about the Jews lining up to be burned to death or gassed to death. From the stories, it sounds like they didn't really fight the lines and just followed what the Nazis instructed. I'm just curious about the reasoning, really. I mean, I figure there were lots more Jews at these camps than there were Nazis. Why didn't the Jews fight back and do the things that we typically think to do in situations involving life/death?

They did. The camp was called Sobibor. there was a movie made about it back in the seventies. remember this; those SS guards had towers, electrified fences, the MG-42 machine gun(fastest firing conventional light machine gun ever made), and they were a phonecall away from getting an entire Waffen SS brigade for some backup.
Just to give you a synopsis of what happened at sobibor, The prisoners rushed the fences and towers, got mowed down mercilessly, and a handful escaped alive. then lets think of the afterplan. escaping through hundreds of kilometers to a neutral country. even the nearest camps to switzerland were 200km away. Imagine walking, wounded, starving, with the world's most feared psychopaths on your tail. I've seen the camps, and I can tell you, the germans are very efficient with their layout, fields of fire, and location. If I wanted to kill a shit ton of people, thats how I'd do it.
I've dealt with starvation before for a few days, and that was hell, they had to deal with it for months and years at a time, their bodies were frail, their will broken. Going into those gas chambers must have been a relief to some of them. By the time they realized what was going on, they were in the trap. I mean seriously, who could imagine before that somebody being capable of exterminating people on such a scale?
sobibor was a small camp of only 600 prisoners(200 survived the breakout), its only purpose was to kill as many of the cultural enemy as possible. and don't forget all of the Slavs, Gypsies, poles, communists, and homosexuals that those crazy bastards killed. the total number was around 13 million killed, the six million jews just happened to be the majority number.

usually, im the girl thats very outgoin, funny, and easy to get along with. when i go to a party or concert i meet a ton of people and im really comfortable with myself.
now that ive been pregnant, im reeallly self-conscious and awkward/anxious when i meet new people and stuff. im not visibly pregnant unless you knew me before (im 4 1/2 months) so its not because people know im pregnant.
its all me, and i dont know what to do ! i still want to go to parties and social gatherings, not drinking ofcourse, without feeling so awkward.
how can i help myself when im out and start feelin anxious or awkward ?
well, the problem is most likely due to social norms about teen pregnancy. people usually frown on that in developed countries. if they can't tell you've got a bun in the oven just try not to think about it. to be frank, who cares what they think? so what if some old codger is saying "whore" in his head, fuck em. you've got a lot more important things to be worrying about than that.

for some reason, i cannot watch rape scenes in movies. i always close my eyes, cover my ears, and turn away even at the ones that aren't very violent. it's completely and utterly disturbing to me. i can handle blood and gore and anything else pretty much but for some reason i just can't watch it, idk how anyone else can.

Today I found out that my boyfriend of 6 months had broken up with me for some other whore. I asked who this lucky lady was and he would not reply. I went home from school early and crying my eyes out and in a way looking forward to my mom there to comfort me in this difficult time. but as i walked in the door i noticed my ex. boyfriends car parked out side, in exitement i was thinking he might be here to talk to me about "us" but when i looked around the house no one was home. so i was on my way to my room sadly because me and he had, had sex in there so many times, but as i walked in i saw my boyfriend and my mom having sex no i cant sleep in there any more.

Hi i'm a freshman in college and me and my boyfriend have been going out for about two months. We are so good about talking about everything and being open and he would always tell me all these really nice things about how he feels about me and so on. I got a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in the corner of my eye when I was trying to put some on my face (trying to clear up a zit). I think it may have gone in the eye itself. It didn't burn but my eye got very red. I immediately flushed the eye with cold water for 15 minutes and now it's only very slightly red. It still doesn't burn or hurt.
Will my eye be okay or should I go to the ER?

I recently seen a tv show law n order which i love oliva the detective went under cover to a prison and was almost raped.
I was raped three times and just watching that episode brought back my memories does it ever get easier? I just feel helpless and alone since i watched it

Freedom of speech is very important and should not be limited, assuming it doesn't offend or hurt others.
How is this relevant/acceptable to today? For example, people in countries without freedom of speech like America have to go through ridiculous things when they do try to speak up or change things. Any specific examples (American, preferably), or anything along those lines..?

here's something thats moving- Freedom of thought is as important as freedom of speech. for without the freedom to think as an individual, one cannot participate fully in any discussion. the freedom to open one's mind to any subject, any line of thought, thats what brings true knowledge. If a person is restrained by social norms (ie: not able to fully discuss the subject of racism because they're white), then a solution to the problem may never be found. Freedom of speech, and the press, is nothing if one does not posess the ability to use it to its full potential.

Why is it that I do better, socially, with people older than me? I'm 20 and almost all of my friends that I talk to are 30 and up. Some are even much older...like in their 60's and 70's. I'm not sure why but I feel like I relate better with them and have better conversations. My time spent with older people is more enjoyable than with those my own age. Is this normal?
same thing here, the conversations and antics are much more entertaining. some times I feel like I'm slumming when I talk to people my age. course the situation is different depending on your background too( for example; I'm a combat vet). in my situation, 99% of the people my age have no concept of the things I've done, or where I've been.. and vietnam vets are not only cool to talk to, but give helpful tips when we're talking shop. seriously, what 24 year old would know how to make a booby trap with a shotgun shell and a mousetrap?

My best friend and I were talking yesterday about racism and we got on the subject of President Obama being a black man. We both heard people saying things like, "I'm not afraid to vote for a black man," and, "I'm voting for Obama because I'm not racist!" A lot of people we came in contact with seemed to not care what Obama was about but focused more on what color he was. Well, we both got to thinking and...isn't it racist to vote for a black guy just because he is black? Isn't that like NOT voting for a black man because he's black? It sounds pretty much like the same sort of racism, right? I don't know maybe we're over-thinking this sort of thing. What do you think?

Not only did we not get the point of his famous words, but we are making a dangerous mistake regarding the nation's well-being. first, when picking somebody to be in charge of 300 million people's lives and having control of 4 million men-at-arms, eleven aircraft carriers, 45 Brigade cobat teams, and 2000 tactical and strategic nuclear weapons, the person to pick is the best guy for the job. one that has the character(we hope), drive, and common sense to excecute the office. not the person that would be "historical" for being the first whatever to be in office.
And as for the good reverend, he dreamed of a day where people would not judge somebody by the color of their skin, but by the strength of that person's character. we haven't done anything to acheive his goal, but rather traded one form of the racism thats hurting our country for another, more virulent type.
so those people who voted for him BECAUSE he was half kenyan, you guys could quite possibly have made the worst mistake in recorded history. but for the sake of humanity, I hope you guys just made the right decision for the wrong reasons. well it started a couple of weeks ago, i think i was skatboarding and i tryed a handplant and for a little while after my rib was in a dull ache. it didnt bother me much because i was skating and iv done much wors to myself through it but today i was making breakfast when i coughed and it cracked. as it did so all the muscels tense'd up for a good minute or more...
im still in pain now while writing this and im deffinatly going to make an appointment at the doc's. but have you ever heard of this before?
was a rib muscle out of place and just needed a good crack back in to place?
sounds like when me and my buddies were screwing around a few years ago and I got donkey-kicked. the bone was probably out of position, and muscles usually spasm like that when it happens. still, it might be cracked a little bit. trust me, you know when a rib's been broken....
take a few days off until it stops hurting. reinjury would be a bitch.

since the last few months i noticed that whenever i stroke my hands through my hair really fast, hair comes out. Its not like really thick hunks of hair though. Theyre like about 2 inches and theyre reallly reallly thin..... like reallly thin.
but am i losing my hair?
i dont think it could be genetics because my dad and mom dont have balness or hair fall. my dads 48 and he still hasnt gone bald.
but teh weird thing is... my hair looks totally normal!!!! I still spike it everyday before school and shampoo and shower/ whatever. Its still looks normal......its just whenever i fluff my hair, little thin hairs fall out.

yep, those hairs aren't a concern. and it doesn't matter if your parents aren't losing hair, its actually whether your maternal grandfather lost his hair. kinda wierd, but it skips a generation. me, I'm 24 and I said goodbye to my hair two years ago. could have been the whole "combat stress" factor speeding up the process, but I would have lost it anyways.
