My 'idol' (for lack of better word) is not someone who is very famous or very successful. He is just starting out and experiencing a lot of criticism & endless knockbacks from the public. On top of this, he is very insecure and so the reason I want to do something for him is to show him that he does have support, and that he is good enough, and to encourage him not to give up.

We dated through the deployment and i supported and loved. (the 1am skype calls, the rushing home to be available incase he came online - the works, my heart was in it!) and for 3 months after he got back. obviously there is more to the story in terms of how the relationship started and why i kinda feel justified but, no matter which way you look at it - I suck! in my defense he was "lost" before he even joined the military and i wanted a partner not a son :( I'm a pretty dominant person and he would let me take the lead when he got home and at times i felt like the man and the mom ... its not a good feeling and i hated knowing that he was letting me emasculate him.
