What do I do if I get hydrogen peroxide in my eyes?

Question Posted Thursday October 8 2009, 2:23 am

I got a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in the corner of my eye when I was trying to put some on my face (trying to clear up a zit). I think it may have gone in the eye itself. It didn't burn but my eye got very red. I immediately flushed the eye with cold water for 15 minutes and now it's only very slightly red. It still doesn't burn or hurt.

Will my eye be okay or should I go to the ER?

I think you'll be fine just don't put your fingers in your eye seeing as they are dirty
get a appointment with your doctor and see what they have to say if your worried tell your parents what happened and get their opinion i don't think you'll need to go to the emergency room :)
