Well i'm in the 8th grade, and I dont have a best friend... is that bad??? I'm not saying that I am lonely and I have no friends, I have plenty of friends.. just none of them are actually my BEST friends. Arn't best friends supposed to be there for you when you're feeling low? and they always come and sleepover and you always share secrets with each other? welll it seems like whenever I go up to my other friends, they are always busy with 'their' other best friends. It's like they have no intrest in me anymore. My brother just moved away to college and my cousin is staying with us for a while. I have a dog, could that be my best friend? I just feel like I have a lot of depression going on in my life and I really need somebody to talk to. yes, i know.......... I can talk to you on advicenators, but I need somebody not only for talking... but to share my happy moments with, a best friend
and I know you'll say talk to your family.... but the thing is.. both of my parents are ALWAYS working... they leave the house way earlier than I do... and the next time I see them is when i'm asleep. Its just not fair. My brother is in college, and my cousin is always hanging out with his friends or finding some excuse not to be in the house. I'm really sad that I dont have a best friend, and I'm a very busy person.... could that be the reason why I dont have a best friend? cause i'm always busy and they never have any time with me????????
You might say join a school activity and meet friends there... but TRUST ME! I dont make friends easily, lets just say I get SUPER SUPER SUPER nervous when I meet new people, or give a speech to a class. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!! I FEEL SO ALONE.... Q: how much exercise is enough to keep you in shape?? i've been an athlete ever since 3rd grade, but recently i sprained my ankle and it turns out i have a chronic ankle sprain. my parents thought it would be best to take the season off, or just not play. i can run forever, but i just can't turn it. would running 5 days a week for 30 minutes a day on the tredmill plus crunches and the 6 inches stretch be enough?? i eat 3 meals a day and sometimes one snack, sometimes i don't have a snack. any opinions??

Q: I lost touch with my dad when i was 9 (long story) last year was the first time i got in touch with him. i also met aunts that i never knew my whole life. before we lost touch i last saw him a few weeks before i turned 8. the whole thing is i'm jamaican and my dad left jamaica when i was 2 then came back to visit when i was 4 . so i really don't know him. he left jamaica and cheated on my mother with another woman that he has 2 kids with now (10 and 11) i finally came to the US when i was 6 but i lived in new jersey and my dad lived in florida and he still does currently. after losing touch i moved to conneticut but last year on the internet i found his name and phone number. i was so excited that had always been something i yearned for over the years. now it's a year later and he still hasn't visited me. i haven't ben able to go because of the situation at home. my mother is a single parent and has another child my younger sister. she couldn't afford for me to leave when she has to work. so i have to wait till some other time to visit my family. my aunts came up to see me last summer but my dad hasn't. i just became disinterested in him over time because i thought he would have been here by now. i haven't seen him in 10 years i'm 18 now and i think it's messed up that he wants to come to my graduation but couldn't come here just to visit me. he also works at the airport in miami so that's not a problem. he stopped calling me which i don't care about because it's akward talking to him when i don't know what to say. my aunt's always have somthing to say when i try to point out the fact that he hasn't visited me yet. he has 2 other kids with him and i feel really out of place the least he could do is visit he sends money every month but it doesn't make up for everyhting else. does anyone else beside my bestfriend see's where i'm coming from?

Okay, my boyfriend and I haven't even been going out for a WEEK, and he's already kind of hinting that he wants to have sex with me. I know I shouldn't, and I won't give in, being as that I am Catholic and have religious morals. But, I was with him yesterday and he had an erection. It kind of freaked me out, because we weren't even kissing or anything, and I really don't think I'm ready to have the same type of relationship he wants. And also, yesterday, he showed me condoms he had bought, and that pretty much just took me over the edge. He told me if I really wanted him to just stop everything, he would, and I do believe him, but when I'm trying to tell him no, my shy-side won't let me say anything. Is there any way I can simply tell him no and I want to wait for things like this until I'm older?

Q: Me and my GF have been dating for 2 1/2 weeks now. It was love at first sight for us. We talk hours a day and see eachother alot. Last night she called me saying how she doesnt deserve me im way too good for her. Then later on she came out to say she wanted a week to think about things like if she's ready for this feeling, if shes safe from hurting me or herself. I freaked out by all of this and was going to go for a long drive but she called me back saying she loved me and to forget the whole week thing she doesnt want me doing something stupid. Then she asked me all these questions like what would you do if I left you, what would you do if someone had a gun to my head, what would you do if I said can we be friends. Then after I answered she said I just wanted to see how you truely felt about me and you seem to care alot. BUt my problem is how can I show her im not going to leave her and that she is safe with me. Her past has been rough. Her dad left before she was born and all her ex's hurt her bad. Im not like them and I respect her alot and just want this to last but idk how to show her anymore that im not going anywhere.
