Okay, so i've been friends with "steve" for about a year now, were really good friends and hang out a lot. He's liked me for quite a while and i never liked him, but we were still friends. and yesterday (valentines day) he came to my house and gave me flowers, then said he had to go because he has a date. I feel like..seriously, crap..and i start to think maybe i like him, is that just jealousy kicking in?

okay so i have stretch marks on my inner thighs.. i'm not fat or anything but i'm a gymnast and i hurt my ankle real bad and had to get surgery so i was out of gymnastics for almost a year & thats when i got them since i couldn't do any leg exercises.. anyways i know there isn't a real permanent way to get rid of them.. but does anyone know of lotions that make it fade a lot? i've been using vitamin e, aloe, mederma on it and they've faded some.. is that good or is there something else i should use also?

there are these two guys, dylan and jordan. and i really, really like them both. when I talk to one, i forget all about the other, and i positively glow. should i choose one, or should i just wait and see? or is there something else i should do?

DYLAN he's a year older, and he's really sweet. I don't know him well at all, because we've just started talking. But he's stood up for me, and he seems like the best guy ever. plus, he's not into drugs or alcohol at all, like most of the people in my school. he's even spoken out about it, which takes a lot.
JORDAN he's in my grade, and he's the nicest guy ever. he's really sweet to me, and we're kind of friends. I think he might have liked me a while ago, but i dont think so anymore. he's also not into anything bad. i don't really know his friends, but theyre all great, and theyre the kind of person id like to know.

Okay, i had a question about bisexuality. I think that i am bisexual, but i can't quite seem to figure out what to do. I have dreams and think about that stuff with girls, but i wasn't sure how to approach this situation. I don't know anyone that is bisexual or lesbian. I just wanted to know what i should do to actually find out for sure. I told my close friend about it, and he told me that i am because i answered a bunch of questions (like would you kiss a girl etc). I just wanted to see if any one had any advice as to what to do. Serious answers are preferable, and someone who is bisexual would be even better so they can tell me what they did.

Many people are confused the first time they have feelings for a woman, no matter what their age is. I have heard from women in their 40s who are in your same boat. They have only ever had relationships with men, and now they’ve fallen in love with their best friend.
I think honestly, the lines of sexual orientation are not as black and white as we like to think. Many, if not most people, fall somewhere in the middle of gay and straight.
We call it sexual orientation, but really, it’s about so much more than who we’re sexually attracted to. It’s about who we’re emotionally drawn to, who we see ourselves spending our lives with, and yes, whom we’re sexually attracted to as well.
Just take it easy. There’s no need to put a label on yourself. Enjoy your relationship with this one girl and if that’s the only girl you ever feel this way about, that’s okay. If you end up getting crushes on women and men your whole life, you might choose to call yourself bisexual, or not. To some people labels can seem limiting. To others they are freeing. Use them as you choose.

i'm a 14 yr old female, and i am a freshman in HS. there is this guy (16-17, junior) that i have liked since the beginning of the year, and i think the guy likes me too, because he's always teasing & talking to be with no reason. so i was expecting him to do something for valentine's day, but he didn't...and yet he still keeps talking to me. why do you think he didn't do anything for valentine's day? because he's always acting like he likes me, then he goes and blows off the biggest love holiday of the year..was he just toying with me? i feel hurt and pathetic for even hoping..but I still like him a lot..

ok i have been wanting to lose wait so since before christmas i have been eating one meal a day with various snacks. I am 13 years old and got my period in october for the first time. I havent had it since christmas. Does that mean i have Amenorrhoea ? is there any way i can get it back ? if i continue to eat 1 meal a day will it get worse ?? help !!

Have you been crash dieting? Have you been eating regularly? Having an eating disorder can temporarily stop your menstruation period.
So, coming from an Italian, MANGIARE!! (EAT!!), ... unless you want something bad to happen to you!!! (Please, eat!)
FYI: If you don't eat, your body automatically stores fat--so if you don't eat, don't think that you're losing weight. In the long run, you probably are actually GAINING weight.
Please, don't do this to yourself!
* If you want to lose weight, regularly exercise, and don't eat tons of junk food.
FYI 2: Amenorrhoea is the absence of menstruation in a woman by the age of 16. (You said you've had your period in October-therefore, you do not have amenorrhoea, don't fret!! :) )

I have mass friends at school, but recently I come to find out, several of them are getting pregnant, and having kids. It's not like they are twenty or something. Otherwise, I wouldn't care because they're old enough (I think). They are ranging from 14 to 17 years old.
I find it seriously ridiculous that my friends are just having sex like it's nothing, and end up getting pregnant. In fact, a few of those people are Christians, and told me so many times they would never do that and it's pathetic. Months later, they find a guy, have sex with them, and they leave my friends. Later on coming to find out they are pregnant and have the kid.
If it was like 1 or 2 people, I would understand. But it's becoming an epidemic almost at my school. Approximately 10 girls are pregnant (whom are my friends), and another 5 had their kid within the last year.
Don't criticize me of my opinion though because I really can't help it. I am a Christian, I love my friends, I still pray for them, and support them. But I just get so mad thinking about it, like they basically ruined what was going for them. A friend of mine wanted to leave her house (family problems) and become a Vet. Now she got pregnant, and she is stuck there in poverty. Can't even afford a decent meal for her and her child, since her family is stuck on welfare and social security for paying for other things. Her boyfriend like left her, so there is very little for her and her son. She is battling for the father to pay for child support.
Please don't get me wrong to whoever has been in that situation of getting pregnant at an early age. I can see the struggle in it, and the effects, but seeing my friends make bad choices just angers me because I want them to have self-respect, and do something successful. I am quite prude, so don't judge me on that, and you can't blame me at some extent. I feel guilty for basically not trying to understand the reasons why it happened, and the circumstances. It's hard to understand.
So, my question is, how can I get over this?? I've been trying for a long time to get over it, but more people getting pregnant, so my anger comes back.

That's how it is in my school-except there aren't many Christians.
I've learned to not let it bother me so much. They're totally screwing up their own lives, and will learn that after the birth of their child.
You'll learn to get used to it, I know-"been there, done that".

Some of you might remember the question that someone asked about getting their tonsils out on Thursday. Well, I got them out to day. =]
My throat hurts so bad. It feels like there's a golf ball in my throat and it's really hard to swallow.
They gave me three different medicines and I took them all about an hour ago, but nothing has happened. If anything, I'm worse. They also told me to put a cold ice pack on my throat, but that's not helping so far.
Does anyone who's had their tonsils out know of anything that works to help stop the pain?
And what would be better to eat on the first day -- warm or cold foods...or does it matter?

Well my brother got them out, too-I never have, but..yeah. I know your pain anyways.
The first 2 days at home should be spent in bed. Drink fluids and eat soft foods. This will help keep your throat moist and your body fueled. Have your mom or dad stock the refrigerator with soft drinks, icepops, gelatin, ice cream, and pudding. Other good things to eat are mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, pasta, and warm soup.
Within 2 weeks, you should feel much better.

This summer i am going on a school trip with all my friends. There is going to be a pool at the hotel we are staying at and we are very excited to be going swimming. The problem is is that a lot of guys are going and other girls and all the girls have boobs and they will be looking good in their bathing suits and the problem is is that i dont have any and i dont want all the guys to be looking and lauging at me. It is very embarrising and i dont want all of them to see my flat chest. I dont care if it is just girls but there is about 20 guys coming to and i know they will all be looking at my friends and i am very self concious about it. I am flat. I cant help it. i will be humiliated even if they dont laugh or look at me. Please help. thanks!

I'm a freshy this year, and don't worry-eveyrthing wil be fine.
Stay with your old friends by hanging out with them oftenly. Do sports, etc, with them. If they're true, they'll stick with you. If not, you don't want them anyways.
The best way to meet new freinds is joining as many sports & clubs as you can. Join sports/clubs that offer things that you like, that way, you're paired with people that have at least one same interest as you.
& Taking honors classes-well, in my school, was moderately easy. Sure, they push you harder and give you more work, but you can do anything if you put your mind to it. :)
In my HighSchool, we got a lot more oppurtuinities and freedoms than Middle School. I love it :)
Freshman year should be easy with the exception of the first two days- it was somewhat difficult, but you learn to deal.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that.
I've checked my records, and yes, it is possible to stop getting your period when you dramatically lose weight.
And yes, your boobs are usually small when you're super skinny. When you gain weight, you'll get boobs again lol.
