can sum ppl tell me sum do's and don'ts
i kno that ill have friends goin to my high skool,and im pretty outgoin, so i know that ill make new friends too, but i was woderin wut r sum good ways to make friends, and wut r Do's and Don'ts when it comes to high skool and peer pressure

great ways to meet people are to get really involved in school activities!!! join clubs and things like that! as far as do's and dont's....always be friendly to people you meet....dont try to be somebody your not or dont try to impress older classmen.....always wlak with your head up...never look like your in a hurry to go somewhere(esp when your a freshman!!!!) be very friendly snd outgoing....DONT DITCH YOUR FRIENDS FOR A CUTE GUY WHO WANTS TO GET WITH YOU!!!! friends first!!! oh and that saying "keep your friends close and your enimies closer"...keep that in mind...people do some really mean stuff in highschool to get back at people if you make them mad....thats pretty much it...just walk in the dorrs and act like you own the place!!!
Hey i have a few questions. ok 1st of all lately alot of people have been telling me it seems like i have a low self esteem and im just now seeing that i do when it comes down because i always care about what people are going to think or what there going to say about me.I dont know this just started and i wanted to know if you could help me stop being like this.and 2nd of all i had this one best friend i mean we were always together and did everything and everyone even thinks were sisters but i messed up her friendship by doing something with her boyfriend and now she hates me and calls me a hoe and all this other stuff and i dont know what i can do to make her forgive me cause were going into high skewl this year and i dont know what im going to do i know i should have thought about that before i did that with her boyfriend.but i just wanted to know what you would do if you were me.?.Ok and now my last one. i had sex when i was 13 with the guy i have been with for 15 months now and i really do love him. but ever since i had sex people call me a hoe and all that but i dont think i am and i know im not cause isnt a hoe someone that does it with everyone? cause hes the only person i have done it with so i dont see how im a hoe. i mean yeah i kissed other guys and get finger but i still dont see myself as a hoe.So i dont know what to do.Please help me!!! when you start to feel worried about what people think about you just look in the mirror and tellyourself that you are who you are and you are who you want to be and not everybody is going to like you but there are lots of people who will look at you and love you for who you are and just think your a great person. wow thats not good to do stuff with your best friends boyfriend...most girls dont ever get over that. Tell her that you would never do anything to hurt her and that at the time you werent thinking. we are all human and we all make mistakes..ask her for a second chance and sware to her that you will never do that again!!! and honey peopel are just jealous of other people who have gone farther in their love life then they have so they use names and yellin and cussin as a way to express their jealousy..dont let it get to you...they wish they had the kind of relationship you two have!!!! just shake those hataz off!!! lol
I am a 15 year old girl who is confused because my best friend today asked me if I would be mad if she went out with my x boyfriend i went out with all year. I'm not all that sure if I am over him completely i think i tiny part of me has feeling for him again not sure. I told my friend that would be really happy if she went out with him but yet im not. well as a best friend she should respect how you feel about her dating your x. thats a touchy thing for any girl to see happen. and if you really wouldnt want her going out with him then just tell her that. and if there is a part of you that is still attached to him then maybe just re-consider why yall broke up and realize that you guys just arent right for each other. And if he was the one who hurt you..i would tell your best friend that you wouldnt want the same thign happening to her!!! she will understand!

ok.... i was planning on dieing my hair this thursday. what i was going to do was die it brown underneath and on top put some sandy blonde highlights with some platinum blonde highlights.. do those two hair colors go together(the platinum and sandy blonde)? i tried looking up stuff to see what it would look like but nothing seems to come up on google or yahoo so if anyone has any ideas on where i can find these two colors put together that would help me a lot... or if anyone knows if these twos colors go together that would be great.. thank you!

my mom and 2 brothers and 1 moved in with my grandma and aunt. they treat us like crap! my mom is so depressed i try to stop the fight i do but then 4 sec. laster my grandma will open her mouth again and its non stop fighting and i stick up 4 my mom and shes is always upset and it bothers me .. my life my mom and my 2 brothers life r not right here and were tryin our best to move but we cant yet cuz we dont have enough money.. but my mom is soo upset here.. im tried of all the fighting but i cant stop it my grandma thinks she does nothin worng and its all my mom and that also makes my mom upset.. what should i do to help? what should my mom do? and what can we do to stop the fighting? p/s we tell them to leave our stuff alone but they dont and thet ruein our clothes in the laundry cu the ammonia and we say were gonna wash our clothes but they wash ours neway... what can i do??

tell your grandmother that your mom can do what she wants....she is just probally real prtective over your mom and sometimes that sense of being protective can come off as running your mom down or being rude. Im sure your grandmother doesnt mean to hurt your mom...thats her daughter after all. But when she starts doing that, just do whatever you have to do to get your grandmother to leave your mom alone and then explain to her that your mother is a grown woman and can do what she wants and does not need her critizing your mom about everything she does! As far as you helping out..just knwo what your mom is going through and try to help her out in any way possible and always lte her know that you love her and that your her biggest fan at the end of the day!

i'm thinking about asking my parents for a Lap-Band procedure. it's where they make like a .5 inch incision and stick a rubber band that can be inflated around the top part of your stomach so that your food slowly trickles down into the bottom part of your stomach, filling you up faster. it's a lot safer than gastric bypass because there's no cutting or re-routing involved. have any of you heard about it or even had it? please help me! i checked my BMI and it's 53.5! i almost cried!! thanks.

well alicia honey i wouldnt do this if your trying to lose weight. if you want to drop a few pounds then just exercise every now and then,drink lots of water, and eat less sugars and carbs. Also if your under 18..i think its a little to early for you to already be getting cosmetic surgery
i only have a few real friends that i like to spend time with and 2 of them are going away for the rest of the summer...how do i meet new people so that i won't be bored to death?? i was thinking about getting a job to keep me busy - would that help me meet people?
well yea getting a job would help you...when you and your friends go out or whatever get a big groupd of people to go and start making friends with people who you really werent all close too...new friendships are bound to pop up!!!
i dk but i put this under cleaning... well everytime i go in my back yard i always get bit by mosqitoes n i have mosqito bites all over my legs and i hate having them on my legs... theres only like 3 on just one leg but i hate having bits on my leg does any1 kno a good way to get rid of them soon?
but a little vasaline on them and then once that soaks in put about a drop of tea tree oil and that should clear it up!

well next time they act really protective....just talk to them and explain to them that everything will be fine and they have nothing to worry about. Also if yall are trying to go out and stuff....give them every detail possible on where your going and who your going with then they will start to build up trust and they will let your friend do things without worrying about if he/she is going to be ok
i'm 17 and never kissed anyone, how pathetic is that? the thing is, it's not like i'm ugly or anything because i know many people who have liked me or would've kissed me, but i don't want to make things weird between my guy friends by doing anything with them and the other guys who have liked me are not exactly top rate...another thing is that i never even tell people who i like cuz i don't want to be embarrassed...i don't know what i'm waiting for - someone who i feel comfortable with?? the perfect person who doesn't exist? i'm not the kind of person who would do things just to make myself appear cooler but as i get older it just gets more embarrassing to say i've never kissed anyone
