ok . heres my deal , im going into high school on aug. 23 , and i really want to get a boyfriend for the first time cuz ive never dated b4 . im getting braces to which might turn a guy off . how can i get a boyfriend evn tho braces r a total turn off

braces might be a turn-off...but just because you have braces doesnt mean a guy wont like you. get colors...if your eyes are a light color, get colors that match them. if they are a dark color, get a light color that you look good wearing. hope i could help, Niki Lyn

Okay...I have Braces n so dont mne otha people so theres nuthin 2 worry about...but tons of guys i kno have braces n go out with girls that have braces! dont worry abour ne thing n the good thing is you will have nice teeth wen there off!! lol

If you are still bothered by the thought of braces, discuss the different types that are offered with your parents. They do have clear braces, but they are more expensive. One more important detail, when you do get braces, be thorough about cleaning your teeth after eating. Carry a toothbrush in your purse and clean up after eating lunch (especially at school). NOT having anything caught in your braces and having fresh breathe will make you feel more confident.

be yourself, have fun, FLIRT, and smile, and before u kno it, like ur sophmore or junior year, they'll be off, and u'll have a BEAUTIFUL smile!!
just make a bunch of friends, and sum guy friends, and then hang around guys a lot, or u can like become a trainer for the football or soccer team, u'll get a boyfriend b4 u kno it

Don't rush into getting a boyfriend right away. Focus on having fun, HS goes by soo fast! Make lots of friends and let things happen as they happen. Dont worry about the braces.. Braces arent a total turn off.. Just make sure you dont have anythig stuck in them! If a guy likes you for who you really are, then the braces wont matter to him. Well good luck in high school!

Dont worry about braces. Most people have to have them! Having braces is more normal then not having them. You might even meet a boy with braces. Just dont get them stuck together ^_^ just kidding.

Well I have braces myself, and actually most guys dont think its a turn off!And as to getting a boyfriend(the first ones are always fun).Just be yourself,that always works best.

Making friends are the biggest key to boyfriends. Hes probably not a good guy if he doesnt like you for your braces.. so forget that thought.. you want a guy who likes you for you. Now that we've got that down, make friends with guys. Ok.. most relationships arent any good without being friends first. So make some friends.. mingle meet guys through other girls (even if theyre not the boyfriend type make friends with him, he might have some cute buddies and he could be a good friend to have).. but you have to be outstanding. Crack jokes, be talkative, give compliments. And even if you dont HAVE a boyfriend the first few monthes, guys arent everything.. b/c along with that good stuff comes heartache sometimes. So you want to be careful with who you choose. When you get close with your guy friends, invite them over, get to know eachother better. I think this is the best way you can go... and I think if you keep a good attitude and an open mind you'll find mr right before the years over ;-)
