My name's Jennifer, but I'm more commonly known as Jen or Sporkster. I love lots of things/people including God; volleyball and soccer, my two favorite sports; and cheese. I also love Pi, but that's a story for another day.

Q: Ok..im on a really good volleyball team. in the past like 10 yrs we've won alot of state championships. But the thing is..she over works us. everyday we run a mile..then we go in the gym for about 2 hrs n half and just do volleyball. If we mess up..we do punishments..she yells like never before. We do suicides if we miss a serve or do a error. Its starting to get to me..i want to be perfect..and its stressing me out. How do i stop this?
A: God... are you sure you don't have the same coach as me? I know how you feel, believe me. My coach is the same way. He accepts nothing less than perfect at practice. Whenever we err, he makes us run suicides, duck walks, wall sits, leg lifts, etc. I know it can be really stressing, and it's going to be hard to do, but tell your coach how you feel about it. Ask a friend or two from the team to go with you if that makes you feel more comfortable. The most important thing between a coach and a player is communication and understanding. Q: every once in a while (but not too much) I go to some sort of fancy dinner and I always get so confused when the first course comes with my silverware. Which fork do I start with? Usually I just use what the person next to me uses, but what if they're waiting for me to use a fork first? it could become very very confusing.
A: Always work from the outside in: from smallest to largest. The smallest forks and knives are used for salads, desserts, and appetizers. If you see a small spoon, that will probably be used for sorbet in between courses. The largest fork and knife are used for the main course.
Q: If you have a program on your computer such as kazza to download music...and you download MP3's...how do you get the URL for the MP3's to use in an html code??
A: Find a host on the internet that will host mp3 files. Then use that URL to do whatever.
Q: I have a friend and she's alsome..she helps me anytime i need her. But, she is starting to get a big head of herself bcuz she is on the volleyball team. She is starting to think she is "all that" and she's starting to not even pay attention to me anymore. What do i do?

A: Sit her down and talk to her about it. Tell her that you're worried that she doesn't have time for you anymore. If she's the friend that she used to be she'll try to make more time for you guys. Maybe she's just really busy with volleyball. Who knows? Just ask her and I'm sure things will work out just fine.
Q: Can anyone either explain (or refer me to a website) which explains the theory and logic beinh the HTML hex code color names?
I know that is has something to do with shade, saturation, hue... something like that. I looked for something online but couldn't find anything.

Q: ok so like my two best friends are fighting right? and one keeps saying lies about the other and its really anoying and it makes me so mad.im trying to make them stop but what should i do?
A: Edit: Sorry, computer froze on me. Well, how are you sure that your friend ISN'T telling lies about your other friend? Perhaps your other friend told lies to your friend so your friend doesn't know any better. There's no way YOU can make it stop, they're just going to have to stop on their own. You shouldn't interfere as it has nothing to do with you.
Q: How do u burn music on to a cd??
A: You have to have cd burning hardware and software.
Go to Best Buy and ask an employee. I'm sure they can help you out.

A: If you miss having her as a friend but all she ever does is argue with you over petty little things then it's really not worth it. Find a friend who's worth the friendship.
Q: I hate basketball. well i don't hate it i just dont like it very much. Everyonr says I should play even our school's coach but i don't know. im 5'7 so they say ill be a good rebounder or defender??? but i cant shot! i miss everything! should i play?
A: Basketball isn't all about shooting. Even if you have excellent offense, without a good defense there's really no way to win a game. So yeah, play! Every team needs a good rebounder.

This is not really a question, but a request...
Can we please stop it with the "I rate" and "Rate me!" crap? Are getting ratings THAT important to you? Does it somehow make your life complete? This site isn't a game, people... ratings are not for keeping score. There is no competition - just advice. The ratings are supposed to be for keeping the bad advice off the site, much like we have the moderators in place to help keep the really bad questions off the site.
I mean, when I see a question that says "I rate!" in the body or even subjet of it, it just screams "OMG! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!!!!" It is getting kind of pathetic, as we're seeing it ALL THE TIME!

A: This is one of those grammatically incorrect terms that makes me want to kill people when they say it. It's *supposed* to mean "some one special" but really, "some one" should be spelled "SOMEONE." SOMEONE IS ONE WORD PEOPLE!!!

A: ...You're attracted to yourself? Edit OH! Ok, lol, I was a bit confused there. Well, I don't thing it's WRONG nessecarily, just weird. I mean, wouldn't you feel weird if your cousin's cousin liked your brother or sister or something? It's ok though, go ahead.

A: I recently got sucked into the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons trend thinking that there might be a reason for it's sudden popularity. There IS! They were great mystery/action/adventure books. I'd rate them 9.5/10.
